This is a great place to browse, and explore. If you're looking for something specific, the owner is super helpful. If you want to spend time looking through boxes of comic book issues, there are tons of them. There are even several special events organized throughout the year. They pack a lot into this little space.

This guy has everything comic. Jared orders what you need and will keep following up to make sure hard to get items are printed. His shop is also filled with comic book treasures from multiple eras. Check it out and you will see what I mean.

I always love bringing my kids here. The owner had great energy, very fun and knowledgeable. The pathways are alittle narrow but it's cool to see so much inventory. I would absolutely recommend stopping here for snubbing comic book/ graphic novel related.

Ive known Jared for maybe 15 years and he's one of the coolest guys with a vast knowledge of everything comics. Always super helpful when you're looking for something particular or something new.

We have been going to this comic shop for over 12 years. When we moved to NC last year, this is one of the places we mourned having to leave. It had become part of us. We love the store and Jared. He is an amazing guy. We still keep in touch and feel sad because we are now so far away. It will DEFINITELY be a stop on our list when we visit NY.

This place is amazing! Owner went above and beyond to help us find some new comics we’d like. Prices were great too! When we travel we like to stop at a nearby comic store and this place was the best one we’ve been to. Seriously amazing place, prices, and owner! He was so kind- even gave us big bag and board to fit over our comics since he knew it was raining so much and we were camping. Make sure to stop by and grab something from here!

Still the Best comic shop in the area and ran by one of the friendliest people I know. The shop is very welcoming to people of all ages.

I have been shopping at Jared's store since he started way back when in a little hole in the wall in Southport. He is always extremely helpful, and gets to know his customers to ascertain their likes when it comes to comics, whether they be older comics or newer. I have purchased both from him, and will continue to do so. I appreciate his courtesy, knowledge and generosity.

Was driving through the area today and just happened to google comic shop near me, which led me here. This is a top notch comic book store, with a great, friendly store owner. It's a pleasure to see how many people were coming in to purchase books. I'll definitely be back... hopefully sooner rather than later!!!

Amazing store. Owner is super helpful and friendly. Have visited several times being out of town. One of the largest back issue comic shops in Western NY. Definitely worth the visit.

Jared runs an awesome shop. He deeply cares for his customers and it's so clear that he's in the business for the joy of reading. If he doesn't have something you need he will no doubt find it for you. Great prices and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Such a great comic shop in a smaller town. A huge selection of well known and lesser known comics. Amazing customer service from the owner and everyone has a vast knowledge of what you're looking for. A this place is a must for comic book lovers!! Not to mention great con's in the area throughout the year as well.

"Heroes" has a large inventory and is of course willing to help you order what you're looking for. It's strictly a comic book shop. That means no tabletop games, video games, and few collectibles. He needs more space and greater organization. I'm giving him 5 stars because you should always support your local comic book shop, but really he should have 4 stars. The owner is SUCH a nice guy. The place is clean but cluttered and smells good for comic shop...probably because of the lack of tabletop games. So, buy your comics here and do your gaming at Great Escape Adventures in the Arnot Mall. Gee, if they don't already, both aces should cross market to each other.

I cant recommend this place highly enough.. Iwas passing through and decided to stop at this store and could not have been more pleased with my experience. It was the night before FCBD and they were open extended hours setting up for the next day. The owner was super personable and, unlike many shops, wanted me to take my time and rife through boxes etc. The pricing was extremely reasonable and I literally spent 4+ hours digging through box after box and ended with a stack of books that was kinda difficult to carry. Do yourself a favor and visit this store especially if you are a collector that loves to dig.

Jared is so friendly and helpful! He always helps my children find comics that are both within their interest level and age appropriate. If you call ahead he will pull some titles to help narrow down the choice for your children, very helpful!

This has to be the best comic store that I have been to. Right when you walk in you are transported to simpler times. To times when there is no worry in the world except for things like if Spider-Man is going to defeat the Green Goblin this week or how many people the Joker is going to kill today.

The owner of the store is also the most generous and kind store owner I have personally ever met. If you buy a bunch of comics in bulk (even more expensive ones) he will give you a discount every time; for absolutely no reason.

He also knows his stuff so if you are a newcomer and if you want to get into a new series but dont know where to start then all you have to do is ask and he will set you right up where you need to be.

THE PEOPLE ARE TOO NICE! I always try to tip my waiter but these guys gave me a discount; it feels like the roles are reversed. I've been to many comic book stores and this one is the best by far!

Jared is a great comic book store owner. Knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Still a great place to order your comics and Jared does a great job helping with special orders.
