Absolutely LOVE THIS STORE! I always stop by every time I’m in town no matter what. So extremely grateful for this store!!! I read more than a book a day and I’m always going through so many it helps having a place to physically touch and read the book so I can buy it. Online is good too but I prefer to hold a real book and turn the pages myself. This Barnes is huge has a lot of books in each section more than other Barnes I’ve been in. I love the libraries I visit but my work hours are so long that I almost never have time off when they are open so Barnes IS my library. I buy my books a few a time but it’s always worth it.

You guys are my heroes! I had been hunting down a particular book for a Christmas present. I could not find it anywhere near me, or anywhere online besides pre-orders. I tried so many book stores and secondhand sites.
Finally I looked to see if any B&N stores further away had it in stock. This store is 3 hours from me, so I decided to call and ask if they did indeed have it and if they would be able to ship the book directly to me.
They went above and beyond to help me by tracking the book down in their store, taking all my info over the phone and shipping it to me promptly. I got it well in time for Christmas and I could not be happier. Plus they were so kind! Thank you so much, your community is lucky to have you!

Probably the most "bookstore" feeling Barnes and Noble I've been to in this area. It has a cozy atmosphere and the friendliest staff of any store in this area. They're always ready to drop what they're doing to help find or recommend a book. The cafe foods are hit and miss but their drinks are top notch.

I'm going to be honest, I think I come here more for tiny cat figurines than books. There's a great variety of both books and merchandise, with a few shelves of Legos too. But again, I'm mostly there for tiny cat figures. Love those little guys. :)

This place has been a staple for years. The membership is cheap if you want it and it's always the perfect stop for browsing, curiosity buys and oddities. Always, always, support local. However this is never a poor option, as they'll have really anything that you could need, and if they don't their online shop is pretty great too.

I shop here for gift reference books from their $5-$15 section and a few books on spirituality religion and occult texts, as depicted by my photos. I always end up spending more money than I mean to, whether it's buying more books than planned or a bookshelf to house them (sold separately). Even getting a few tarot items or children's gifts can be made easy here.

The employees have also been very attentive and excellent as well. Truthfully I've never had any real issues so it's hard to estimate how they'd be with any difficulty like with a return or online pick up but generally every transaction has been frictionless and friendly.

Awesome store their Cafe is great as well they have a nice seating area their customer service is amazing and the food taste great also

One of the few good bookstores left. I still prefer my books in print, versus online. This Barnes is always neat and clean. The service is always on point. And honestly, I prefer their cafe to the Starbucks down the road.

Books and games. This is a great place to bring the kids so they can get something educational that really captures their interest.

Love this bookstore! Once I'm inside I am consumed by all of the wonderful books. Enjoy!

Thank G-D for the brick and mortars! There's something about physically holding a book. I don't think I'll ever get used to NOT holding an old, dusty tome.
Nothing dusty at B&N here in Elmira, though. Freshest titles, and the most knowledgeable of staffs, makes this a must stop anytime.

Great place to take a break from the hurried atmosphere. I always find something new to peak my interest.

Everything is arranged very nicely. Children's section is great. My 3 year old Grandson loved. My 20 year old Granddaughter found several things besides books that she wanted. I would very much recommend that you visit this store for your reading plus needs.

I love this store, everyone I've been to, and the lady working here helped me find a book I've been searching for for over four months! She really went above and beyond to find this book, and I really appreciate it!
