Eldridge Park Carousel

Stopped in for a quick visit on a road trip around PA and NY and I’m so glad I did. The carousel is beautiful and in wonderful shape. The park itself is in a scenic location with several flat rides to enjoy. We had a quick meal before getting back on the road and it was very good.

It's great to see part of the park restored. Tried to grab a brass ring on the Carousel, but I came up short. There's a small museum that has items from the original park, and you can sit in a car from The Whip, the Bumper Cars & more! Ahh, memories!

Workers and visitors at the Park are very friendly. A very nice place to walk/run also a place to take your dog has a dog park. Rides, put put, paddle boats and Jasper boat, restaurant and ice cream very family oriented.

It was always the best carousel in the world growing up. It still is. (Yes, carousel. Merry-go-rounds are mobile and can be moved from place to place, carousels are in a permanent place.)

Awesome little park in Elmira with a very cool and fast carousel that has been preserved and definitely worth seeing.

Shocking that there were maybe less than 40 people visiting while we came on the 4th of July!

My youngest child age 7 enjoyed herself as well as my 70 plus old mother.

Amazing place to spend an afternoon. Everything is inexpensive and my son loves the rides. The staff and volunteers are always friendly. We can't ever leave without at least one trip out on the lake on Jasper.

A beautiful old fashioned carousel complete with a golden ring grab. Beautifully maintained and only 1.00 to ride. Pick between horses, bears, Lions and tigers or a bench seat. Some go up and down and the ride goes moderately fast for a carousel. Fun fun fun!!

Our parents took us to Eldridge Park Every Summer. The Carousel was my favorite. My twin brother was a ace at getting the ring
I was too short. So he would share the rings with me. I'm so glad I can take my grandchildren there now. Brings back great memories.

I have many memories of riding the Eldridge Park Carousel from my childhood as I went there and spent time with my family. I would ride the hourses on the carousel and have a great time. Sometimes I would try to get the ring. I am looking forward to spending time there one day with Joey and Julia so I can share it with them and their oldeset brother Ryan.

A very nice place to take the family or take a peaceful walk. The prices are reasonable and the wait time for rides is minimal. You can pay for rides, mini golf, or boats. Or you can enjoy the playground, skateboard park, ride your bike, or take a nice walk for free.

Great park for the whole family. The area around the lake would be more pleasing if everyone that walked their dogs would clean up after them. A lot of dog poop.

I love riding the Eldredge Park Carousel. I ride at least 3 to 4 tome during the summer. This year it has been closed so I miss riding it. O hope ot reopens soon before the summer is gone.

Great rides for children, mini golf, pond you can take paddle boats on. Has a bike and skateboard park, fields for soccer or small fry football. Has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Eldridge is and has always been a historical memorable place near and dear to my heart as ive grown up here and have seen the transformation from what it was to what its become...eldridge is a great place for familys to go and kids to be kids...i do wish they still had the hills with the cookout areas where theyve put all the fields...highly recommend

Had our family reunion here a few years ago, when they first re-opened the carousel and boat rentals, and mini golf. All the kids in our family had a blast.

They're bringing back the Eldridge Park I remember as a child. Not the full amusement park that was there, but many of the attractions are there. Great for a picnic, or food is available.

Great social atmosphere for all ages with a nature environment great for bike riding walking running or just sitting on a bench by the water also rides at very cheap prices including a motor boat and paddle boats and other events along with a few wild animals ducks geese seagulls fish and nice picnic areas by the water and at Pavilions great for celebrations of all kinds
