McLoone's Pier House

When looking for a wedding venue, I was restricted to Long Branch NJ, but thankfully for that restriction, we found McLoone's Pier House! Absolutely in love (with each other) but also our wedding day and experience with McLoone's. We got such great feedback from our guests all night and afterwards of how amazing the food and staff is. Lisa/Rachel were incredibly quick with their email responses and so supportive. Nelson is full of professional banquet experience and really made the night go smoothly. Every single staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. We had brunch for some people in the same place the next day, and I loved hearing from the staff about the event. I think our favorite part is that McLoones is now our anniversary spot. We truly fell in love with this place and its service. Unforgettable!!!

This place hits all 5 stars, but I wish I could give them more stars for the view.

I came here for the brunch.

The food and service were top notch.

I really enjoyed the raw oysters and shrimp. They also had these great mini crab cake sandwiches that were phenomenal.

They even had an Easter Bunny to take pictures with the kids.

We came here for my MIL birthday dinner. There was 9 of us on a Sunday, it was super busy but I had made a reservation, thankfully. We were seated with a few of the ocean which was very nice. The aesthetics of the restaurant was nice too. We ordered the calamari, bread and the shrimp scampi flatbread for appetizers. They said everything was delicious, same with dinner too! Even our 11 year old sister enjoyed the bread, fries and pasta! Overall it was a great dining experience. Our waitress was super nice too!

This is such a lovely restaurant with a fantastic view of the beach. I stopped in a for a quick bite after spending a good part of the day suntanning. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted very warmly by the hostess, and my server was attentive. Everything I ordered starting from the shrimp cocktail to the crab cake sandwich came out fast and delicious. Cocktails are great here as well. The establishment is very large, and it looks like a great place to hold major events like wedding receptions and baby showers. They have a decent sized menu with reasonable prices, especially for this area. I enjoyed my first experience here and will definitely stop by the next time I am in the area.

We had our baby's 1st birthday party there. The restaurant has the most gorgeous view esp the top level for parties. Love eating here too on normal occasions. The food here is fabulous and the service is always on point! I recommend having parties here! They have good selections of food. My guests were impressed by the dishes and the scenery!

I cannot recommend McLoone's Pier House enough! My now-husband and I had a tough time when we initially searched for wedding venues. We knew we wanted a beach wedding with hotel options nearby, but found the options within our price point very limiting. Upon entering McLoone's, it felt light and open and was truly a beachy venue. We did not want to think about rain, but other venues often offered indoor ceremony options in a back room with no windows, while McLoone's still felt like we were on the beach! Looking at the pricing, especially in relation to the quality and quantity of food, it was a no-brainer!

From our first visit, the entire staff was gracious and helped us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. Rachel answered so many questions via email, was extremely organized, and made clear exactly what we needed to do and when, to ensure that everything was all set before the big day. She and the team did a fantastic job getting everything set up to make my exact vision for the venue come to life! The decorations were set up to perfection and I loved everything about it!

On the day of our wedding, the entire staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, attentive, and excited for us! We have to shout out the maitre d' Nelson- he was amazing! He coordinated plates of food for us while we got ready for the ceremony so we did not have to deal with a hangry groom situation. I realized right before we walked down the aisle that an item we were using for our ceremony was missing. He coordinated to have it brought in without anyone (me included!) even noticing when it happened! Throughout the night he checked in on us, and was watching the radar so closely that he notified our photographer when we needed to go outside for some couple's photos so we would miss the rain. Thank goodness he did, as a huge thunderstorm rolled in just a few minutes after we got back! The food was amazing, everyone was raving about it- we definitely recommend the surf and turf option!! Even the next day, the staff packed everything up nicely for us and made pick-up so easy. I wish we could relive wedding day and we can't wait to go back to visit on our anniversary! We hosted a private event at Mcloone’s - it was my parents’ surprise 40th anniversary party. I worked with Lisa to coordinate everything and I had such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Communication was clear and prompt, and the event was executed flawlessly. They even upgraded us from the semi private surf bar area to the upstairs Atlantic room at no additional charge which was absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, staff was extremely attentive and helpful, all our guests were raving about every aspect of the event and we cannot be more grateful to Mcloone’s for helping us put on such a special evening!

This is an awesome place to have dinner. Beautiful view of the beach. The food was excellent. Our server was ridiculously nice and we will be back.

My hubby and I stopped in for an early dinner and I can say that we will be back!! We shared everything and left feeling extremely satisfied. For starters we had the drunken clams and I would have them again and again. The wedge salad was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of dressing. For our entree (I forgot to get a photo) we had linguini with attitude and it was really good!! There is metered parking in Long Branch. The atmosphere was great as we had ocean views. Service was good as well.

Had a lovely business lunch experience here. It was easy to make a reservation and they have seating both inside and outside available. The food is good and comes out fast. They were also not very strict with their 90-minute limit which we appreciated. We got a seat inside right next to a window with great beach views. Try any of their seafood dishes; they are great!

Beautiful view on the Jersey Shore. Delicious food and drinks! Good service. Calamari was amazing!

Went there for Sunday brunch, everything we had was very good...crab cakes not so much. Waiter seem to get lost even though we were the only people there....we went at the opening bell. Got busy at around 10 to 1030am. Over all the views are beautiful and there is plenty selections. We will be back.

Great view, great food, gluten free buns and knowledgeable staff! Couldn't ask for anything else. Not white glove service but great for brunch or any afternoon down the shore. I've been to most of their restaurants and the bar is high for this very small high end chain. Great for parties as well. They did a great job hosting men and women in separate areas for a shower simultaneously. Fun was had by all!

We have been here before and they never disappoint. However, this visit had a slight hiccup with my wife's meal. Her meat came out rare instead of medium. The manager came over right away and brought her out another meal cooked medium. Then they gave her a free dessert of her choice , for the inconvenience. Mistakes happen and they were all over it! Thanks !

My Uncle Dan brought us here for the last 15 years. It feels like home. He is gone now but tonight we returned after a long few months without him. And it still felt like home. You cannot beat that ocean front view. I love that the menu changes a bit each time we are there but there are some tried and true items that stay.

We absolutely adore McLoone’s Pier House! Working with them has always been an absolute pleasure. The magnificent beach setting of the venue sets it apart from the rest and of course, provides the most picturesque backdrop for a couples special day! The “beachy” vibes of the venue are truly unmatched — especially with their gorgeous ceremonies and stellar sunsets. Great place. Went for the Sunday Brunch. Was really pleased with what they offered. Including a raw bar. I just could not eat everything they had . I tried though. They had at least 3 other birthday parties going on when I was there.

Pricier, more upscale restaurant but it's absolutely worth it. I had the organic chicken with broccoli and wild rice and it was phenomenal! It's also hard to beat the view - All seating looks right out over the ocean at Pier Village beach. They also have outdoor seating in the summer along the boardwalk. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the opportunity!
