Dorr Mill Store

This is an amazing store! I am not a fabric person or craft person. I went there to help buy some wool for some artisan friends in Oregon. The store is full of amazing beautiful things, from blankets to socks and yards and yards of beautiful material. Every employee I dealt with was very nice and very helpful. I could have stayed another hour just browsing!

Great selection of wool, patterns and other accessories for hooking. There are also kits and supplies for felting and wool work. It was a wonderful experience to visit the store.

I am so pleased with the excellent selection of wool, rug hooking patterns and accessories. The staff is very helpful, especially when assisting me in my color choices and amount of wool needed for a specific rug pattern. I feel so fortunate to live within an hour from this wonderful store!

Dorr is my favorite store on the planet. I have been shopping there for decdes with my mother before me. I have to bring my husband with me so I won't get (too)carried away. I love the fabrics, the models, and the atmosphere. I might go to Dorr to get one item but always take away a big bag full of wonderful things.

For a creative person, visiting Dorr Mills is always an adventure. The fabrics are a delight to view and fondle. The colors, the textures, there are so many potential projects. Whether you want to buy wool to sew a garment, or learn about wool applique, rug braiding, or needle punching, all this and more is at your fingertips here.
Feel free to bring along non-crafting companions because there is also a selection of ready to wear garments for men and women, not to mention a lovely selection of wool blankets.
Amusingly, I have sought out wool fabrics in other states only to discover their source for wool was this very same Dorr Mills. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this lovely shop.

Great place for wool fabrics

I enjoy the atmosphere of the entire store. The clothing for men and women is displayed well and the crafting area makes me want to make at least one of everything that is shown. Quality is every where!!

What is not to love about Dorr Wool? You can touch all of it and see the colors in person. Salespeople are very knowledgeable and helpful. I drove 100 miles one way from my house and will do it again for my next rug.
