Chimney Rock Inn Flemington

Great place with an old school vibe. Love that they have private booths, you're in you own world. Had the cheese fries and they taste almost the same as Outback, so I was in love. French onion soup and the pizza were good. Finally had the bbq sampler and it wasn't bad just wish it has more meat. Would come back again!

I was originally attracted to this place because of their vegan and vegetarian options and being an independent restaurant in a sea of fast food and corporate options. Upon my visit I was pleasantly surprised to see they had Oktoberfest drink and meal specials in addition to their already well stocked menu. The pizza was a thicker bar pie style, not necessarily my favorite but done well and seems to be popular with the locals. Salad, apps and dessert were all delicious with generous portions. Great service, atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Service was very fast and very polite.
The salad was freaking fantastic.

So I asked the waiter to surprise me with what I got for dinner, and he did not disappoint at all the Mac and bacon pizza is darn good. Thank you, sir!

Great local place for a meal. The staff is very friendly and attentive without hovering and the building is nicely decorated. The food is excellent but sadly I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of it. The French Onion soup, buffalo shrimp, mozzarella sticks and pretzels were great. I had the Adult Grilled cheese sandwich, which was more of a brisket sandwich with some cheese, but it was still very good. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Came in for lunch today because I decided to try one more time. Love the thin crust pizza! Had a less than friendly experience last time on a lunch.That bartender was just a non positive person. Today was fun! She cracked me up with her chopsticks and quirky personality.

Great place to go on Route 31 in Flemington, NJ.

Stopped at this establishment on a Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Looking at the bar, they had a very nice drink selection. They even have a few arcade games if you get bored.

Food was really good. I recommend the pork tacos or the pizza. Members of my party also enjoyed the wings and burgers.

I will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended.

It was my first time here. We had a fantastic time. There was a 45-minute wait to get seated, but it was absolutely worth it. The service and food were fantastic.

The food was good but I’m writing this stellar review because Ally F. was such a great server! I worked in the restaurant industry for years and Ally us one of the best servers I’ve ever seen. Very communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. What blew me away is that she overheard me talking about my upcoming Birthday and she arranged for a happy birthday song and a free dessert! She even brought a dairy-free dessert after noticing my app and meal were dairy-free. Her attention to detail was amazing. Great experience at Chimney Rock.

Food and service were great and they were able to accommodate our party of 7 right away on an early Saturday evening. My in-laws were hesitant to go due to a couple prior bad experiences, but everything was smooth and they were glad they tried them again.

They have a diverse menu and one thing that drew us to them was their several Vegan options.

My husband and I went here for the first time a couple days before Thanksgiving and we will definitely be going back! The food was amazing. We had the Queso Blanco Tater Tots (app), Strawberry Fields Salad, Mahi Mahi Tacos (meal), Veggie Tacos (meal), and a Brownie Blast Sundae (which was gluten free). My husband is a vegetarian and I have a food allergy so we always have a hard time finding a place to go out to eat but The Chimney Rock Inn had a number of options for both of us and they were all super tasty. Can't beat the prices either, very fair. Looking forward to going back :)

Went on a very busy Sunday Night, snagged some bar seats, and put in an order. Got the food so fast it seemed impossible. The Flemington Fog IPA was fantastic. And the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich was very good. The fries were fresh and delicious. I will surely stop here again. Simple stuff but done perfectly.

Great place! Extensive menu. Good food, service, moderately priced, and nice decor. Very accommodating as well. Been there a few times now and always have a nice experience.

Chimney Rock offers a wide selection of American food. They are probably most well known for their pizzas. I highly recommend any of the margarita pizzas. The atmosphere inside is nice, and they offer outdoor dining if you visit on a nice day.

We were headed to a fair about 45 minutes from where we live and decided to have dinner around that location. My wife found this spot and it was alot of fun, plenty of space inside but we chose to sit outside on such a beautiful day. They had good drinks and the food was delicious. My wife and I shared some fried pickles with a spicy dipping sauce and then shared a BBQ platter with brisket and pulled pork and ribs and garlic sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Everything was so good. My son got a cowboy burger and it was perfect! (I love cowboy burgers) with the crispy onions and bacon and cheddar cheese. So good. We also started with mozzarella sticks which are handmade. So crunchy and cheesy. We really enjoyed our dinner there at the Chimney Rock Inn. We would definitely comeback if we are in the area

I love Chimney Rock the food is consistent and quality. I just love the vibe of all their restaurants its a great eating experience inside, very cozy. However I'm extremely disappointed they took the grown up grill cheese away :( myself and many other’s are extremely disappointed. I hope it will come back at some point soon. Was a menu favorite of many. Edit: The grill cheese is back! But I have a new favorite the Loaded Tater Tots are an INSANE appetizer. You can share it among 3-4 people its so filling. The food at a Chimney rock is clean and comforting.

Had my son’s second birthday party there. Staff was extremely helpful getting everything set up the servers were extremely friendly and the food was perfect we got the big side room and the flower decorations were lovely. All the kids at the party went crazy over the Mac and cheese pizza highly recommend if you have a big family party, or just going to grab a beer and a bite at the bar to watch football

We had a family reunion dinner (10 people) here the day after Thanksgiving and were delighted. Great service, they put us in a back room which was beautifully decorated and perfect for our crowd.

Prices were phenomenal and food was great.

Pretty cool atmosphere and vibe. Went there for a quick lunch, and sat at the bar. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered the adult grilled cheese which was absolutely delicious. This looks like it could be a fun place to go on a weekend night.

After some Sunday afternoon shopping, my hubby and me stopped in for a bite and a beer. We were greeted by our server Jackie who was just amazingly fun and enjoyable. We got the Founder's Pizza (large) to split between us, it was delicious and just what we needed. Love coming to this place, always a good time. Thank you Jackie for your over the top service!👍♥
