This place filled up fast around 11:30 am on a weekday which indicated good Mexican food. Our food was great, huge portions and excellent service. We would seek this place out again when traveling through the next time. Prices were high for the café style restaurant but the daily special was reasonable and good tasting.

Real authentic homemade mexican food. Good prices. We had the smothered burrito with green sauce and extremely soft deeply flavored pulled beef. This place does not get enough recognization in the town of Valentine Ne. Will definatly be back on our next ride through.

For Valentine I give them a 5 star. Very friendly, quality ingredients. If you like asparagus order it!!!! Also even though I'm a Pepsi drinker they have the Mexican coke-a-cola in a bottle I stop in just for That!

Pleasantly surprised with the super-tasty homemade Tex-mex options we selected! The portions were generous and the prices were right. Definitely try the chimichanga with the shredded beef!

Milo and Max is now open for breakfast with a limited selection of eggs, toast, breakfast meat, breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, and homemade fresh baked biscuits and sausage gravy (full and half orders) as well as home cut hash browns (yes, freshly made in-house), and always available dessert, so you should be able to find something for your meal. Generous portions of tasty food served quickly and hot (a definite plus imho) by friendly staff, and moderate prices as well. You can order a la carte, too, for smaller appetites and kids. Prices from 75 cents for one egg cooked to order to the full classic breakfast for $7.00. Yes, there's strawberry shortcake available --sometimes!

I enjoyed this restaurant's take on Mexican food, it was very good and fresh. The decorations are beautiful and makes for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a nice meal.

Delicious food, I make a point of eating here anytime I'm in Valentine for an extended period. Portion sizes are huge and I always get a 2nd delicious meal out of it. Try their quesadillas!

Just enjoyed dinner! Good atmosphere, staff, and the food was great. Enjoyed the beef and chicken enchiladas and cheese dip.

Yum! Mexican food! Great hometown service with food that you see down south. Have a friend who doesnt like mexican food. Well they have burgers too!
