The staff is always friendly, and they really do go out of their way to help with anything that you may need.

Super clean store, impressive selection, and friendly staff. I'm 900 miles from home, but if I'm in this area, this is my go to grocery store.

The self check out lanes act up but the place was clean and they had a great selection of everything.

Clean, Anaheim green chilies, Deli is awesome, Large assortment, friendly, and most of all family friendly, family oriented. Employees are knowledgeable, very much there to help you. Has a self checkout. There cheese is good!

Pretty good selection for a smaller town, prices are higher though, but worth it. Staff was nice, helpful.

This grocery store really surprised me with its selection being in a more remote location! The produce was really good and had lots of options. They even had foods that you wouldn’t expect like kimchi and micro greens. They had raw cashews, gluten free bread, gluten free oats, and even gluten free Oreos (shhh…don’t tell). All of the workers were friendly and helpful and my cashier and her bagger were two sweet girls who chatted with me about our travels and places to go in the area. This place is definitely worth supporting!

They have amazing customer service here! I used to shop at Ranchland, but unfortunately they have some of the worst customer service I had ever recurved. When I discovered Henderson's through a coworker, I decided to shop here instead and I have never looked back. Not only do they offer more variety for food, their prices are very reasonable for a local grocery store. 5 stars all the way, mostly for their customer service!

Truck driver unloading at Bomgaars here. Decided to get some groceries and was amazed at the selection for the area. Prices are also low! Employees were nice, some yelling their stories to other employees but didn't bother me. Glad I could stop by and will be returning whenever I'm in the area. DELI FOOD IS DELICIOUS

We live in Ohio but we frequent Valentine to visit family. And we absolutely love this grocery store! Great selection of products, the prices are competitive and the staff is outstanding.

Henderson's is a great store, and the staff is always friendly and professional. And during this time of the covid pandemic, they have totally done everything they can to assist higher risk people and to make shopping in the store safer for all. Great Staff it's Funny I went in there to get groceries sure as hell am not from here I leaned against counter and the lady was laughing because it sounded like I was going to break it ( by accidentally of course ) so we talked I said thanks for conversation I would buy you a rose to say thank you no number nothing more ( yellow ) so I did she said wow you really did she smiled I left point is the staff here are very respectful and welcome to everyone and the store is to Knotch clean so I will always shop there and thank you to everyone @ I G A Henderson Valentine !!!!!!!!!!

The service that we receive during our travels were superb. We were traveling 8 hours with a wedding cake to surprise our friends who are getting married in Sturgus. By the time we got to Valentine, Ne we noticed the cake didnt travel well. We stopped at the bakery to see if they could fix it. We still had another 4 hours to go the next day. The bakery manager not only fixed the cake beautifully, she repackaged it and kept it in their cooling system til we arrived the next morning. The cake would not fit into those small frigs in the hotel room so it was a relief to not worry about it all night long.
Thank you again for saving the cake for our friends wedding in Sturgis. They will be surprised and also chuckle at the story of their cake.

I've lived in Valentine for about 6 months. They have good deals (and an app), friendly staff, and an astonishingly wide selection for a town this far in the middle of nowhere.

Great place! Usually excellent produce and quite possibly the last in the world that will still ask you if you want paper or plastic!

Always love coming to this store. Great produce and always has good sales. Now with the coupon app it's more savings!
