Burt County Museum

This a wonderful museum. The curators and associates are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The museum is a house that is listed on the National Registry of Historic sites. I had a wonderful experience. ☺

The museum is beautiful. It's full of items from around the county. The house is set up to appear as it would have when it was built in 1914. There are some lovely ladies who work there who will happily give you a tour. We learned so much from out your guide, who took lots of time to show us everything and answer all our questions. We'll definitely be going back!

Great tour of the 2 houses.

Unexpectedly came accross this museum here, however got this mixd up with anouther place.This house dated to 1904, and had a good guide as she gave us a detailed tour of this old house with alot of original antiques.There was a donation jar and yes, wished I would of donated more.

We have been investigating the hall for paranormal activity and we found it. We have the names of 13 spirits there so far. A male spirit during an EVP session told us there are 50 spirits at the location.

Beautiful old home. Docent very knowledgeable of the history. Tekamah Lions Club had a display celebrating 100 years of their existence.

The museum is a wonderful staple for tekamah. Great place to go to learn about burt county's history. Noreta gulp and bonnie are two of the sweetest ladies ever!!

A great museum of local history looked in an incredible example of early 1900s architecture. A most see stop for any history or architecture buffs!
