Dave's Old Home Cafe

Great down-home cafe. Nothing fancy, but clean and very good food. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, my wife had the grilled chicken breast, and my grandson the Philly cheesesteak. All were very good and the portions were very generous. Would definitely stop there again if we get back to Pisgah again.

Hey, what more can you expect from a small town cafe/bar ! Stopped by and got burgers and fries and a couple of pops. Burgers were done perfectly and nice sized ! Tasted great, fries were awesome ! Chatted with the help whole we waited. Nice and friendly !

Really good burger, great staff. Favorite place to stop for motorcyclists and bicycle riders. Nice welcoming feel for everyone.

Driving through Pisgah I saw the little cafe two and half weeks later came back through and stopped in for a very tasty breakfast warm welcoming! I will definitely go back for more. Thank you Becky

Friendly and attentive waitress. We had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a side of cheese balls. The cheese balls are breaded cheddar cheese fried and served with a ranch dressing on the side.. delicious! Great place.

Great small town place to eat. Burgers are awesome, broasted chicken is the best around, steaks are Great and their salad bar has the best homemade salads you can get in one place. Great friendly service, large portions and prices are very reasonable. Beers are good and cold too!

I wish Mavis still worked here, she was like a burlap sack of bobcats...she had it together. Great food.

My favorite part about this place is the mismatched plates at the soup/salad bar that has real 'salads' made (i.e. the cucumber onion salad that my mom and granny make). The soup was yummy!

The food is so hot because it is cooked to order.

The waitress is sweet and the epitome of girl next door. She brought a bottle of ranch with my food as opposed to a small dish or even worse those little bitty individual plastic cups. The ranch was homemade. I could see the seasoning in the squeeze bottle. Delicious!

A quaint little diner and bar. Reminds me of the small town cafes I grew up eating in. Food was excellent, service was great. I would recommend Dave's without any reservation!

Nice place. Burger and fries and a beer kind of place. Lots of good motorcycling roads in the area, too. Very pretty riding in this part of the Loess Hills.

I stopped by one time while on a motorcycle trip. Had a grilled chicken meal, it was simple, but honestly it was the first meal I've truly enjoyed in years.

I grew up down the street from here. They had wonderful service then, and it's still in good hands now. Whenever I'm in town or passing through, I make a point to stop in for a bite.

The food is amazing, home style cooking huge portions. The staff are friendly. Be prepared, they only take cash.
