Fabulous food, great and friendly service! The home made sauerkraut and relish were delicious, and the staff was fantastic with our kids. Handled our daughter's allergy wonderfully. Can't wait to come back again!

We walked in and the lady was very helpful immediately. Thought we were regulars. Food was delicious and very fast. I was appalled by negative reviews online, people really will complain about anything. I didn't have to wait but if you have to, its well worth the wait. Wunderbar atmosphere. We will return and will urge others to visit. Thank you. Best food I've had in months.

We heard about this place before we left for our FLX trip, so we made it a point to stop here on our way outta town. Great simple concept, and a surprisingly superb bourbon selection with very fair prices. The highlight of the place is def the friendly and welcoming lady working the counter. Couldn’t have been better service. Now, the food. The best was the bratwurst. Big link and tasty. A little dry imo so maybe not enough fat. But overall was easily the best item. The homemade mustard was pasty thick and very little bite. The burger and hot dog buns were pretty dry. The burger had a creative topping, but the meat was torched. The hot dog itself was pretty average tbh. I was surprised by this because if you’re calling yourself “Weinery”, make sure the weiners blow people away. The chili was overwhelming with tomato paste and just not much flavor. I’ve been to a boatload of gourmet dog places around this country and this place doesn’t even sniff the conversation as one of the standouts. Supposedly a Michelin star chef opened this joint. I feel bad but gotta say that I agree with some of the reviews that say it was very average since they were expecting so much better food. I understand the prices, everything is high cost these days with labor, product, inflation, fixed costs, etc. So the prices are not shocking at all and are to be expected. Just look at the pic though of the reviews in the bathroom. Def written by a sensitive chef. Bad reviews are a nature of the biz, you can’t win everyone over. Read those reviews and tell me how they are “slanderous”? Slanderous is like someone who didn’t even eat there and trashes your biz with lies, not people giving you some honest tough love about your food. Again, I gotta agree with some of those assessments, but of course a Michelin chef will get their panties in a bunch about any criticism at all. Maybe the kitchen had an off day like every place does once in awhile. They were very kind people and I do wish them continued success. If most of the patrons and regulars are happy, then that’s what matters most. I don’t feel the need to hurt anyone’s biz, so that’s the 5 stars.

I can't say enough good things about this place! The food is so diverse and amazing. Combinations of toppings that I never would have thought of. The staff is so friendly and even offered our dog a bowl of water. Highly recommend!

If you weren't a fan of having weiners in your face already, this place might change your mind. If you still can't get over that, they have other tasty things to stuff your foodhole with, like burgers and such. Quality food, creative and classic toppings alike, and lots of staple sides. Also booze. They have booze. Enjoy!

Excellent roadsite lunch spot! The bratwurst was to die for, the traditional German mustard was delicious. 10/10 would also recommend the chili poutine!

Wow! We enjoyed a fantastic lunch here. I had a whole hog hot dog which had a creative, delicious combination of ingredients. My wife enjoyed a peanut burger which she said was among the best she ever had. Outdoor seating available with extensive beer and wine options.

Really awesome place with a cool vibe. So many different mix and match options with the food and mixed drinks. Service was very kind and guided us to the menu on the wall and brought our order to our table. We ordered poutine, a peanut butter and Nutella milkshake, and the WHOLE HOG. You can't be afraid to get messy with all the toppings that come with these dogs. Luckily we weren't, so we rolled up our sleeves and chowed down.

Enjoyed my well dressed gourmet hot dog. Shared a serving of poutine which was very tasty. My friend tried the vegetarian option of a roasted carrot. Interesting! Service was friendly.

Run, don’t walk here. Firstly, the men behind the counter couldn’t have been kinder, continually checking in on us. The hot dogs themselves were chock full of specialty items and the amazing flavor. The grounds are great too! We played corn hole at sunset - what could be better? And the foie gras fries? Done, done, and done.

My girlfriend and I got the peanut butter burger and poutine. The burger was super good! The poutine.. could have been better. Now I am Canadian, so I’ve had my share of poutine over the years. 🤓 The curds were good, but on the small side. The fries were also good quality. The problem for me was the seasonings that overpowered it. “Herbs” and black pepper. Maybe some who like pepper a lot might enjoy it (I do like black pepper), but this was too much for us. There’s nothing quite like authentic simple poutine. Gravy + cheese curds + fries. I recommend going back to basics.

So tweak that a little, and I’ve given you 5 stars in advance!

Holy mole! What a surprising find! And to think, I was upset that my wife didn’t let me stop at McDonald’s before hitting the road! So I’m driving down the highway grumbling under my breath and hangry when my wife suggests that we stop at this restaurant on the side of the road. Admittedly, it looks like a shack, but the Tesla destination chargers give away that there is probably more to this place.

Once inside, it is clear that these will be good burgers and dogs, but the real surprise is at the counter where there are many high end spirits to try. I got to try 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle here with my burger! They definitely don’t have that at McDonald’s!

It's sketchy on the outside, dare I say on the inside too but it is what it is and it's an adventure! The staff are friendly, give great recommendations and the food is unexpectedly good. It's worth a visit but know that it's not a white tablecloth type of place. It's a casual, informal, paper plate, plastic tray counter service, picnic style table place with fancy fries, burgers and wieners. It's great!

So happy we finally got down here for it and can’t wait to be able to get it in Roc too! Brats had great flavor and the fries royale... yup. Oh and the milkshakes are perfect; ovaltine and salted caramel for one and peanut butter and Nutella for the other.

I loved the juxtaposition of unassuming roadside hot dog stand with a wine fridge containing Grand Cru Bordeaux and a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle. The fries are incredible. The dogs good. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. What a cool roadside attraction. My only regret is that this good review won't make the wall of fame in the bathroom because I have nothing awful to say and no vitriol to spew.
