Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel

Staff was extremely friendly, easy check in and check out process. Staff went above and beyond to assist me and the room was not only comfortable and clean, but spacious and easy access. The coffee station on my floor was much appreciated! Wonderful place to stay in Watkins Glen.

I had a wedding at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel and it was amazing! The ceremony was held out on the back patio with a view of Seneca Lake. We took photos around the grounds and on the pier. Dinner and dancing were inside the ballroom. Staff is professional and kind too. Highly recommend!

Loved the hotel. Was not sure at first, but they had great rooms, a picture-perfect location near the water, friendly staff, and a great restaurant. Let's not forget access to some of the best wineries and the Corning Museum. Loved the morning coffee and tea bar every morning. Will definitely be back.

Had an awesome stay! -- Nothing! Loved coffee on every floor especially that it was Starbucks my favorite! -- Our waiter at breakfast and the front desk staff-all of them! -- So friendly! -- Beautiful room and much larger then I expected -- Unbelievably friendly-everyone of them I interacted with -- Our waiter was amazing! e had a voucher that said gratuities were not included but he told us 20% was! He didn't have to due that so we left him a tip anyway!

The hotel is very nice. Check in was quick, front desk extremely nice. Room was very large, bed was so comfortable! We went to the bar to have a drink before dinner. We sat at the bar. Bartender took our order quickly. Unfortunately it took a very long time for him to make our two drinks. All the people he chatted with got in the way of him doing his job. I’d like to say the chocolate martini he made was worth the wait, it was not. He shook it so hard, I thought he was trying to kill it! The drink had froth, it should not have. Drinks though were rather cheap, so plus! Bar is very nice. Breakfast the next day was very good. I would absolutely recommend the hotel to anyone.

My wife and I spend our anniversary at the property each year and we will continue to do so in the future. November is a great time to visit as the wine crowds have left for the season. Very nice property! -- Very welcoming -- Roomy, clean -- Excellent acomodations. Room was spotless -- Food is always great. We met people in the restaurant that weren't staying at another hotel. We recommended them to stay here and they said they would next time in.

The view of the lake is phenomenal! We really missed the hot cocoa bar in the lobby. -- Don was very helpful at check in. -- We were on the 4th floor and it took a minute or two for the hot water to reach the bathroom. It was not consistantly hot for the first few minutes of the shower but eventually evened out temperature wise.

I cannot say enough about the grace and kindness this staff provided to our family. We were staying in the area because someone close to us had passed away, and his burial and services were nearby.

The hotel was so gracious as we worked through stressful days with two children under the age of three.

Thank you to Harbor Hotel, in particular Abby who probably heard from us more than anyone else. You made an incredibly difficult two days much easier.

We will be coming back and would recommend this hotel to others!

What a wonderful hotel! Loved every aspect of it. Great restaurant and bar on site. Outdoor fire pits were a nice touch. Pool and hot tub were clean and quiet. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. We had a balcony view which was awesome. Definitely will stay here again.

My trip to the hotel was to watch the Super bowl. I arrived early staff was wonderful I went to the bar at 630 for dinner and to watch the game. There were only 3 other people in the whole area. the bartender let me know that i cold not have the drink I had brought from my room, no bid deal. I ordered a beer and got a menu I asked if he could turn on the volume of the game. He said no we could not have volume on in a bar for the biggest game of the year. I have traveled a lot for work and have stayed in hotels all over the country. Never have I been treated so rude by a bartender.

See coffee station remarks above. But overall, we loved the hotel. -- Front Desk Staff Members were always friendly and accommodating. Very pleasant and helpful! -- Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. -- All around, we enjoyed the stay! We would have liked to have an in-room microwave and coffee pot, as we had both dinner leftovers to enjoy plus daytime/afternoon coffee drinkers in our group. We enjoyed the hallway coffee service, but felt it was pulled/unavailable way too soon. Then we couldn't reheat our meals. Otherwise, we enjoyed your hotel a great deal! -- I intended to use the pool area, but was short on time. The pool looked very nice, however. -- The wait at the host stand was a bit longer than we expected, but overall everything was very good.

One of my favorite hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service here reminded me of how hotels used to operate, before trying to cut costs and squeeze every penny out of their customers . They offer free coffee, turn down service, bathrobes and attentive room service every day. I’ve stayed at some hotels that charge $500 a night and don’t even offer room service every day.
I love that they had the fire pits going every day and spent a lot of time out there, drinking my coffee and just enjoying the fresh air and view the lake. They’re on site bar and restaurant was nice to have and we took advantage of that a few times. It’s a great location right on the lake and we had a fabulous view from our room. I’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

Every staff member that was there during our stay was exceptional. -- Great employees. -- Again, very very clean. -- It was a beautiful room and very very clean. -- Top notch. -- Didn't use fitness facility -- Great hostess and bartenders. -- Some of the food was not served at a warm enough temperature, but all of the food was delicious and the staff was exceptional.

We look forward to the beautiful surroundings and the friendly staff. -- Nothing. -- Mike at check in and the woman who did turn down on 3rd floor. -- Very efficient both days. -- Clean and well appointed. -- Always a good experience. Quiet and comfortable. -- The woman doing the turn down in the evening is an asset. She was courteous and pleasant.

The hotel and all staff were top shelf. The rooms were very attractive and tip top shape. Had Breakfast at the on-site restaurant which was delicious and again staff was very attentive.

Attended a wedding held there and the meal and staff were again, consistently excellent. I left very impressed.

The coffee at the elevators in the morning is one of the greatest perks I've ever experienced, well done!!! -- Friendly greeting -- My wife and I were very pleased with our room. We asked for latex foam pillows and the turn down service brought them right away. -- Everyone was attentive and professional -- Not enough knowledge of area

Loved the fire pits. What a great addition. Really made for nice ambiance! Immaculate room with a fantastic view. I'm used to a softer (sleep number) bed so firm hotel beds are difficult for me, but the high quality bedding was still amazingly cozy!

The only problem was the back up sounds from the work outside near the docks. Not your problem though -- We loved it -- The front desk personnel was so welcoming. The check in and out made me feel so comfortable. -- The pressure was a little weak -- The room was so comfortable and pleasing to the eye -- Everyone so friendly -- We ate everything and it was delicious. Best dinner in a long time

The hotel is awesome. And you employees were even better. Mike at the front desk was my hero along with another gentleman that was with him. They were very kind and understanding and made our evening happen. And I can't thank them both enough. I am a housekeeper here in painted post and we are nothing like yours. I praise your housekeeper. The rooms were spotless. You don't find that anymore. It was A very nice stay. Thank you very much. Appreciated the coffee/tea available outside of our room, but for price of rooms a small offering such as individually wrapped muffins would be nice. Most hotels of even lesser cost include some type of breakfast. -- Very clean and comfortable. We love having a lakeside balcony to enjoy the lake scenery and sitting outside.
