Can’t say enough good about this company. Went into my basement to check on something else and saw a small puddle by my water heater. Gave Jamie a call after seeing the great reviews he had on Google. He was already in Amsterdam doing another job and was able to swing by once he was done. He checked it out and it was obvious the bottom had rusted out with no way to save it (On a side note this water heater was going on year 22 so I couldn’t ask for anymore out of it!). Jamie got me setup with an appointment for the following morning, took a deposit, arrived on time the next morning, took the old water heater with him, and set up the new one. Additionally, he answered any and all questions I had as he was very informative and willing to listen to them. Appreciate the service Jamie!

Company answered my call right away and even though they were booked they were able to help me with a major plumbing emergency the same day. Very friendly and they did a great job. Will certainly continue using them for my plumbing needs and highly recommend them. They replaced all of the metal piping in this picture that goes out to the septic tank.

My house started to smell of natural gas so I knew that there was a leak somewhere and I was getting worried. A friend recommended Jamie who was forthright, experienced and merciful- in all honesty I’d braced myself to pay twice the amount he quoted me. Jamie kept me fully informed throughout the process. He replaced a leaking pipe and faulty valve and tested the rest of my heating just to make sure it was safe.

He also recommended some future maintenance services, but wasn’t alarmist about it at all. I will definitely be using Jamie again and I’ve already recommended him to my friends who own older homes.

Jamie has done numerous jobs for us over the years, including new shower plumbing, an outdoor spigot, and main drain clean-out. He is very honest and professional. Jamie has expertly fixed any plumbing issues we have experienced, hot water tank installation, clogged drains, leaks. Jamie calls back promptly and arrives in a timely manner (Sunday's included), diagnoses, and then provides a fair estimate for his services. He explains the problem in layman's terms and works quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend him for any/all of your plumbing needs.

Jamie was excellent and I highly recommend calling him for all plumbing needs. Although it was a Sunday Jamie came to my home within a hour of me calling him and fixed my drain issue. He was very kind , helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me even showed me what was going on with my pipes and told me great tips so I could avoid another mess. I will be using him every time I have a plumbing issue!

Just like the several other reviews I’ve read I can only share positive comments for Jamie, of Upstate Plumbing. I left a message on Sunday evening indicating that although my plumbing problem was not an immediate emergency I needed service at the earliest opportunity . On Monday by 8 A.M. Jamie called and offered to stop by at my earliest convenience. We agreed on a noon appointment and by shortly after 2 P.M. we now have new faucets and shutoffs in our primary bathroom. Jamie also agreed to return to repair a problem with a minor leak in a pipe feeding our furnace that another vendor was only able to fix on a temporary basis that could have potentially caused serious problems. From the start Jamie was friendly, professional and concerned . We highly recommend Upstate Plumbing.

We have hired Jamie for various plumbing work for the past 5 years. Replacement of hot water tank, piping, clearing drain from washer, most recently upgraded bathroom vanity. Also, personal friend! Jamie knows his business, wouldn't have anyone else. The most punctual person around. Excellent with diagnosing any plumbing issues. Highly recommended.

Jamie dug up my back yard and put in a new dry well in my home on Stage Rd. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Was worried about price and time and he was in control of both. Great quality work.. fair pricing and super efficient. Definitely recommend him for all your plumbing needs!

So happy I found Upstate Plumbing, Heating & Excavation. Jamie is absolutely wonderful. I needed a new sump pump installed and wanted a battery back-up system installed as well. Jamie responded the same day. He was able to give me a ballpark estimate after sending a few pictures. He came out to look at my system. Actual cost was within a few dollars of the estimate. He had everything installed within a few days of first contact with him. He tested and made sure the system and the alarm were functional. I am so very happy that I no longer have to worry about my basement flooding if I lose power. He did a great job!!!

I highly recommend Upstate Plumbing. I called Jamie in the morning and by the time I got home from work he had installed a brand new hot water. The pricing was fair and I will definitely be calling Upstate Plumbing for any of my future plumbing needs. 5/5

Jamie was absolutely wonderful to deal with. I called just before noon and explained my situation (all drains in my house were backed up), he wiggled things around to show up the same day to assess the issue. He even took over the phone call with our septic contractor to fully explain to them what he was seeing and his thoughts - I think they came so promptly because of his conversation with them. As a female, I'm often treated like I know nothing and may break a nail or burst into tears. Jamie treated me with the upmost respect, broke down all the possible issues before he got started and kept me 100% in the loop in terms I had no problem understanding. His price was more than fair for arriving in an emergency situation. Highly recommend! We will be calling Jamie for any and all future needs, you should do the same!

This past weekend we had no hot water.Thinking my hot water heater passed away I contacted Upstate and within 1 1/2 hrs Marco arrived and assessed the situation. He put in a new thermo coupler and the hot water was back on. Had to pay the weekend rate but at least the water was hot and running. Thanks for your honest evaluation and quick service.

Jamie came in a timely and punctual fashion. He got the leak fixed and was very helpful. I think he could have done better on the price. I cannot say weather not replacing a sweat pipe with a sweat pipe is a bad thing? I know I personally could have done it myself if I had a key to turn the water off from the road. But if I made it worse. I would be in trouble with no insurance... He replaced the copper petcock with a pex and shark bites

Jamie is an excellent plumber, a master at his trade, and really takes pride in his work. We have had him do pipe replacements, faucet and disposal and plumbing installation, etc…and in addition, Jamie came over very promptly after a an emergency call for an old pipe that ruptured . He’s the only one we ever call when any type of plumbing work needed.
