The Babbling Brook Watering Hole & Eatery

I noticed a Facebook post from the babbling brook and realized I had no idea what it was. So when we were thinking of where to go to dinner tonight we decided to try it. At 5:30 pm on a Saturday we snagged the last inside table that was not reserved. So I definitely recommend reservations on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was great. Adorable little place with a nice bar. The staff was awesome, super accommodating and friendly. While we were waiting for a table multiple waitresses let us know they saw us and would be right with us. The food was amazing. Their French fries look homemade and we're delicious, perfectly crispy! I had the French dip sandwich which was perfect, my husband had a turkey club which he said was amazing. And our son had a grilled cheese from the kids menu. They have excellent bar options and great kids menu drinks. 20/10 we will definitely be returning soon!

We found this place randomly after an evening at the state park. Very memorable place, everything is 10/10. I have 2 toddlers and they loved sitting by the window and watching the creek, very friendly family place. Food was amazing and after we spent about half an hour just walking around outside enjoying the view. A definite must, and I look forward to coming back on my next visit!

Adorable bar/restaurant in the middle of nowhere, we decided to sit indoors as the outside tables down by the water are served as to go orders (which is fine, but not what we wanted). The Rhode Island style Calamari was super tender and the marinara was delicious! I had the special Maui wowie wrap which was so good! It had chicken and ham and pineapple with a chipotle mayo sauce. My hubby had a smoosh burger with caramelized onions, he wished he had gotten the double, but it was still very good!

Excellent food and service. Great prices. Looking forward to another visit!!

Our first time here. The food was amazing especially the boneless parmesan wing. Our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely be back! Very delicious.

I have been wanting to try The Babbling Brook since they opened and tonight my sister and I finally went. To say I’m happy we did is an understatement. We couldn’t decide what to get because everything on the menu sounded so good so we got a few different things to try. The food was out of this world delicious and our server Cassidy went above and beyond. She was so sweet, outgoing and on top of things. Phenomenal experience overall and cannot wait to go back and try more items!

A bit of the beaten path but worth the detour. Nice restaurant with unique offerings. Indoor or outdoor seating. Service was a bit slow but the food was delicious! Unfortunately they were out of a couple of things we wanted to try so will have to come back. Hopefully by then the ice cream place next door will also be open.

Cassie was amazing food out of this world. Great combinations. View was great. Had kids with us. Sevice still great and good was too! Cassie was not our waitress but the one we had was fun.

We love going to the babbling brook. The food is simple but tasty every time. The owner knows how to cook meat! The specials are always a great choice!

HIGHLY recommend this place! Amazing food and great atmosphere! Nice sized wrap around porch for outdoor eating & the fire pits by the creek out back were great! We ordered the NY strip steak (could cut with a fork!), wings, the pulled pork sandwich, and pesto fries! All delicious! We were very pleased to find a place to eat while vacationing that had great food, atmosphere, and service! Top notch, low key, chill place to eat very well! Run, don’t walk!

My wife took me here for Father's Day lunch, I'm so glad she did!! The menu is great, we had the smooth burgers, they were delicious!! We also had the Bruschetta Calamari for an app, also amazing!! We can't say enough about our server either, she was super friendly & very attentive!! The drive up there is also just gorgeous, we will return before the summer is over!!

One of thee best places I have ever eaten. Our server Aleigha (I am so sorry if I spelled it wrong) was an amazing waitress and was an amazing conversationalist. She made us feel so welcomed. The interior of the restaurant is adorned with amazing tokens and funny signs that really give a "cabin" feel that makes it feel so comfortable. The food was the best steak I have ever had with amazing strawberry lemodade. The property is stunning with a beautiful brook out back and many tables outside. They even allow pets to sit with you outside! As a visitor to NY, this reasurant definitely took the cake of the trip and was the highlight of my experience here. Thank you so much! Compliments to the chef, owners, and service!

What a wonderful experience. The staff were so nice and on top of everything. The food was just scrumptious to say the least. The atmosphere was bright and playful! The total experience was absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

Great spot to stop by with the family for dinner,or a great spot for a fun Saturday night! Try their unique boneless wings that are better then any wing I have ever had! You get your dollars worth. Just ordered a Rueban and it may of been the biggest in my life!!!! Solid 10 stars!!!!

A hidden gem that is worth the drive. Family owned. Original and creative recipes. I've visited 3 times over the past year and a half. I only come to NY twice a year. Maple on the lake used to be my favorite. But their hours unfortunately don't match with when my stomach is hungry...lol.

It took awhile for the food to come to the table, but I expected that because it is the first night. The food was great! The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back again.

Dang! That turkey soup that tasted likely thanksgiving was delicious!!! So happy to have discovered this place! Great service and delicious food!

Worth the trip for us and, evidently, a lot of other day trippers as the were quite a few bikers there. Not Hells Angels types, more like Hecks Home boys. Been there twice and the food is fantastic. They go that extra bit that good places do, hand cut, double fried french fries, fresh Bread and Butter pickle slices. And the menu span the wallet.
We had lobster rolls, the non-mayo version that was as good as any I've had in New England (I've had a few). Good beer selection, friendly and attentave TEAM of staff. Sit inside, outside or in a van down by the river!

Absolutely amazing food. No matter what you get it comes out amazing. We love the bar tender Athena. If you tell her what you’re in the mood to drink such as a whiskey or something sweet, she’ll whip you up a special made drink that always tastes fantastic. She’ll even smoke a drink for you! Fantastic place, can’t say enough good about it.
