Top Psychiatric Care

Very very rude receptionist. I had to hang up and im literally having an uncontrolable break down. I was calling because ive never done this before, i have never seeked professional help until right now, i know i have some issues with anxiety, depression and my father who is a medical doctor seems to think i may have ADHD and advised me to call for help. So i call this number, and the secretary answered "Hello". I didn't really know what to say, so i asked how i could make an appointment with a psychiatrist to be evaluated. She said she doesn't understand my question. So i said i think i might have ADHD... and she cut me off before i could finish and said "you're calling a psychiatrist for ADHD"? She said she never heard that one before....... so i told her i was new to this and i had gotten advice from a medical doctor to call to ask, and she said "well this is new...ADHD...whatever" and laughed. She said she would grab an intake form so i told her you know what, no nevermind i don't want to come here. I feel ashamed, embarrassed and humiliated. I don't think i will call anyone after all. If after making a phone call to seek help fron a professional would make you feel this way, i don't think i could honestly go through another person judging me for my behavior. I am really really disappointed and I'm also very afraid to call someone else for help, so thank you.

RUDEEEEEEEEE receptionist didn’t even give me a chance to talk and hung up on me. Absolutely rude.
