Scotia Barber Shop

Victor always does a great job with my hair. I joke that he cuts every hair twice-he’s extremely thorough and detail oriented. He does take his time-usually 20 minutes or more.

My son was 3 when we first moved to Scotia and took him to Scotia Barbershop. Mr. Victor won Nathaniel over and was always so patient, kind and always did an amazing job and was very detail oriented which we really appreciated. Our family moved to NC this month and my son said to me today (now 5 yrs old) how he misses his barber, Mr. Victor and wishes he was down here in Charlotte so he could still cut his hair.

Victor always gives me a great haircut, converses if I am talkative yet gives me my quiet time if I'm not in the mood to talk.
The shop is always clean, & Victor always makes sure I'm satisfied with the cut.

The only complaint I could have is that he's fussier about a perfect haircut than I am. But I enjoy the extra time & conversation.

Always a great time whenever I come into the barbershop. The barber is very kind, talkative, and courteous. Would absolutely recommend this place to anybody new to the area or current residents just looking for a new barbershop experience.

I always get a great cut from Victor, he's the most thorough barber i've ever had. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Not the best

Horrible experience had 4 inches on top ask for a small trim on top, now have 1/2 inch. Sides I wanted as close to skin as possible it was done with a 1 guard. I asked for it closer and he said that's as close as he can get. This was directly after he straight razored the back neck. Not happy at all if I could give less then a 1 star I would.

Worst haircut of my life. Instead of giving me change and waiting for a tip he just pocketed the cash and gave me his entitlement smile.

Racist people! Avoid if you a POC. Not safe. Not safe!

If you want a clean fade Or a fade in general DO NOT GO HERE!!! Honestly wanted to take his barber license and rip it into 2000 pieces so the guy can never ever butcher someone’s head again.. on top of not being able to fade he was rude…

Do not give this man your business. I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry. His words: “don’t tell me how to do my job”, “most customers don’t know what they want.” I was made to feel like my business was unwanted from the moment I walked in. This poor service on top of the fact that he gave my son the worst haircut I have ever seen and totally ignored what I asked for. My son was in tears when we left because his hair was BUTCHERED. I could have done a better job myself. I wish I could give him zero stars.

Bad hair cut! Did not listen to what both of us asked. Fade is uneven and not finished - there is no blend. And for the other cut he asked for a blend but gave him a mohawk basically. Then when we said something he became rude and irate. Will not go back!

RUDE! If you do not want customers to come in early then change your hours. I can spend my money at 50 other barbers in the area who will be pleasant to deal with.
