No waiting professional great doctor

My wife, who was quite ill at the time, called her office several ties asking for a nurse or Dr to call back. It's been several days now and we have heard nothing from her office. I don't understand how a medical professional can behave this way with seemingly no care or sense of responsibility towards her patient.

Update: A week later, we finally got a response. Apparently they did not have her number and had been trying to reach her by calling me instead. This is strange seeing as they had previously called and texted directly to her number multiple times in the past. Furthermore, I received no calls from them on my phone nor does its history show any. No word of apology was offered.
