Delicious. Excellent service. Large portions. Clean tables and good atmosphere for a late lunch. Winner in my book!!

We found Al’s Woody’s dinner through Google reviews. The food was fantastic with good service. The chicken tenders were clearly made here and were fresh out of the fryer.

Food was delicious. Had their whole deep fried mushrooms, cobb salad, and a double burger. The food was all very good. The place is not very large. Extremely busy on a Sat night. Service was very friendly. Somewhat slow, but to be expected, since short staffed

Love this place. Everyone is very friendly. The food is great and the menu items are plenty. We stop on our way to Cincinnati which is half way from Toledo. Go Bucks!!

Excellent little spot, restaurant with small bar, OSU themed and upholstery looked brand new. Food was excellent with huge portions and friendly service, highly recommend it! Had giant BLT and chips for my wife and Woody's Favorite burger and fries for me per pics.

We were in town to see the Neil Armstrong museum, and a quick search for restaurants in the area turned Al's Woody's Diner up. We decided to go, and I'm so glad we did!

The restaurant is small but packed with fun decor all about The Ohio State. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a huge food selection, and a good selection on the kids menu.

The kids got the chicken strips and cheeseburger. They both loved what they got and said it was delicious. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it to was delicious. My wife got the appetizer sampler and it was way more than she and I could finish together! The onion rings were huge and great! The potato skins were also quite good. The food mushrooms were huge and just how my wife likes them. The fried pickles were large spears and also perfectly cooked.

If you're in this area, and want some tasty food, don't hesitate to stop in!

1/2 pound of Angus delight. Cooked perfect for me. Medium with a push. I believe this was call the Jacked Up burger. Beef, lettuce, tomato, onion straws and chipotle mayo. Very close to the perfect burger. Service was delightful and the place was clean. The bathroom was tidy and for me to say that, you have something. Would go back again. Wide ah the 7" pizza she said was good but if you're hungry order the next size up. Great job Woody's!

It was great service food was amazing and you got your money's worth

Woody's has never disappointed me! Sure, they can be crowded but that's a part of their atmosphere and the regulars know ...IT'S WORTH THE WAIT! Once they are full with customers others will wait at the door and outside depending on the weather. There is outside seating as well. I've not been out there so i can't review that experience.
One little nit pick...and I mean little. If a group calls for a reservation it would be a good thing to have a "Reserved" sign handy and placed. I watched two groups of customers come in and get comfortable and then were told the table was reserved. One family didn't want to try and get back in line where there was really no standing room so they ventured to outside seating. The other group left altogether. I do think reserved signs would solve this.
The restaurant is clean, has a nostalgic diner atmosphere, and tables are cleaned off quickly. There are booths, tables, a large round table, seating at the counter, and outside seating. Overall it is limited space but turnover isn't terrible. Customers that know Woody's staff and food...no problem! It's worth the wait.
Our waitress was inviting, energetic, quick with our drinks and to get our order. She was very helpful.when ordering. We hadn't been to Woody's in a while and her knowledge of the menu and serving sizes was absolutely a win-win. Needless to say...Woody's serves large portions. This time we had the fried mushrooms appetizer. Oh my! There use to be a lot of mushrooms in a basket. Now there are 6-8 large mushroom tops battered wonderfully. They have to be almost 3 inches in width. They laid nicely in a basket with a great homemade horseradish dip. DELISH!
I had the regular size Taco Salad which took some patient and creative mixing techniques. It came out in a beautiful display and all the goodies to go with it such as sour cream and salsa. There were no little portions of those either, two sides of each. My guest ordered the cheeseburger and fries. Talk about people checking it out when it arrived at the table! And it didn't disappoint. 1/2 pound of excellent beef and freshly prepared. It smelled as great as it looked. Once stacked with all the fixings I couldn't imagine his first bite. He did it! And he gave a big thumbs up! The cut fries were crowded onto his plate. A portion even he wasn't sure he could finish, but did. Our waitress checked on us, refilled our drinks, and had our check to us in short time. She cashed us out quickly as well. This has to be their secret to quick turnover of guests and tables. She was very polite and helpful. We loved giving her a tip and made it a tip that she realized how much her service was as good as the food.
Will return often and just might reserve the big round table 😊

Best wings in wapak, burger was awesome too

My husband and I make the trek at least once a year to enjoy Woody's wings and onion rings!! While the decor may not be to everyone's liking, the restaurant is clean and the food is delicious.

The food was fantastic! I had the taco salad to share with my family and it was delicious. I like that they have the option to buy either a half or full dish. I also tried a bit of the battered fish sandwich and it was so deliciously crispy! Texas cheese and bacon fries did not disappoint. Consider visiting if you're ever nearby, the diner was very full during lunch and an elderly woman was celebrating her 84th birthday ❤❤

Great local business. Nice place to watch the game and get good food.

Had the staff order for me and got a western burger that was really good and fries that were ok. The burger was good sized and I felt I got the bang for the buck on it. The staff was very nice and friendly and if I have time I would visit again.

Love the food and the proportions are huge. Going back again.

Huge food! Delicious! Order half servings if you don't want to bring a bunch home.
