The City of Madeira does a great job keeping their parks and facilities clean and ready for use by residents and anybody else who wants to attend. Plenty of things to do whether it's sports, playground, or going for a jog on the provided trail. I went for a grad party and the shelter house was in tip-top shape.. awesome for family gatherings.

Great place to take your dog for exercise. Now that I have experienced additional facilities as far away as Key West, FL and as close as Manassas Park,, VA, this park deserves a 5 star PLUS!

Great park, 2 shelters two sit under, one big and 1 mini, playground, tennis courts, walking course, great park for dogs bathrooms open except winter and a small nature path

I recently played pickleball (America's fastest growing sport, according to my mother!) here at McDonald Commons Park in Madeira.

They are set up for "up to" five pickleball courts/nets/lines -- although to get that fifth court going you will need to bring your own net.

As of June 2020, it appears a number of the cracks that had formed in the playing area of the courts the previous year were patched/filled.

I can whole-heartedly recommend this park for pickleball.
