Great food and service! Everything we had was great! Seriously the best burger, fish sandwich, fries and fried pickle chips we've had in a really long time. We'll definitely be back. Loved the cozy, calm ambience and big windows...our server was attentive and kind. Thank you!

We are in town visiting and decided to give Main Street Cafe a chance. Me and my wife are soooo glade we did. We started with the mozzarella sticks which were awesome. I ordered the chicken sandwich (blackened) with a side of onion rings and my wife went with the grilled cheese on white bread with fries. Both our meals were delicious, and could not have asked for better food. The wait staff was great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The cost of our meals was very reasonable. If this place isn't a local favorite I'd be surprised. We will be back before we leave for sure.

Small but has great food. Got a burger and fries. Big portions. Good service. Got the Italian lemon cake which was delicious.

Loved it! The burgers look and taste as a burger should. I got the double Cheese burger and that thing bordered on a food challenge due to its size. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and a flavor that can not be beat. Had a side of Onion rings and they reminded me of what Frischs used to serve decade's ago. Everyone in at my table loved what they ordered, from a Club with fries, grilled cheese to a bowl of chili (don't forget the cheese and sour cream). It's a smaller place with a full bar inside, still was comfortable though. Swing by and at least try a burger here, though I am sure whatever you order will be delicious.

Our server accepted our challenge to get us out the door within 30 mins. She switched up some normal steps and got us quenched, fed, and departed within 20 mins. Thank you!

Loved it! Such a nice place and the staff was great. The food was terrific. Beautiful hometown feel about this place.

You would be surprised to know that there is an incredible yesteryear style diner right in the heart of newtown. Call it what you want but Main Street Cafe has it! In taste, quality, and service. I worked here in the early 2000s, my first job and the food was so good, just a simple cheeseburger and fries went a long way. I recently came back here in Nov 22' to find that not only the menu was affordable but the food was EXACTLY like I remember from 20 years. It hasn't changed much on the inside, but that's a good thing. Stop in and enjoy a burger or see what else they can whip up in the kitchen, I'm willing to bet you'll really enjoy this place.

Nice bar tender. Great fried pickles. A good Reuben sandwich. The chef made a nice thousand island dressing.

What a fun corner pub! Karen, is great bartender, and Megan was awesome as server. Food was perfect first time out. I loved the mett-burger!

Was in the mood for a great burger. Found this spot 30 minutes away from where we were staying at. Looked at their menu and found a pretty tasty patty melt that I've had in a long time. So big and juicy in the tater tots were so crispy very well done

Whenever I am in town for work, I'm told that I need to go to the Main Street Cafe. I've been several times at this point and have never been let down. The chocolate cake is a must and you need to save room for a large slice of it or be sure to bring it home for later. For lunch, I usually opt for the fish sandwich - large portion and very delicious!

Sat at the bar and it was amazing. The bartender was an expert in ipas and gave a great history lesson on them. The chili was delicious and the sandwiches fresh. Will be making this my new lunch spot!

Cozy little joint! Love the rustic atmosphere. It is tight quarters, but both the food and service are worth it. Friendly staff. Not a ton of craft beer on tap, but what they have is better than watered down domestic you get everywhere else.

Really enjoy this place. Burgers and sandwiches are simple and fresh. Once had a lobster bisque there that I still think about. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming whether I go for a meal with my husband alone or bring the kiddos along. Staff is attentive and prices are reasonable. Have brought out-of-town guests and they loved it too. Just a great place to go for some comfort foods.

Excellent food and Superb service by Molly! The Ruben was great and the fries were crisp. The Heath Bar pie was a nice final touch. Can’t wait to come again!
