First Federal Lakewood - North Ridgeville

I have been with this bank for about 3 years. The staff is super friendly. My daughter has an account with them as well, and my daughter found out there was illegal transactions made to her account that she never made. This bank was one step ahead of us, when we called to inform them, they told us that they already have the paperwork in progress for illegal transactions and her money will be refunded asap. She received her money the next day. I cannot say enough about this staff. They are always welcoming with a kind smile, and they know you by name. They are extremely wonderful people!

Been a customer at this branch for over 20 years. They're efficient, friendly, helpful, and respond with aplomb to my requirements for elevated privacy and security.

The coffee selection at the complimentary Keurig machine ain't bad, either.

Chris Bartish was the mortgage loan originator I worked with for my transaction. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions whether by email or phone. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and was always prompt with his responses. Thank you Chris and James F for your 5 star service.

I have been with First Federal of Lakewood for I don't know maybe 40 years or more. (I'll have to ask them some day). This should be enough said.

I love this branch. Staff is friendly - they know you by name. Home town bank. Love it!

Helpful & friendly people!

The people are nice enough but not very competent or effective. I ran into an issue with their online banking system that never got resolved after several attempts of working on it with them. It's still not fixed. I also opened a new checking account and have yet to receive my checks...one month later!

Every time I go here it's just a hassle. Unhelpful and usually rude.

First time I stopped here, it was Black Friday. I took some pictures of the outside of the building to share their new location. An employee followed a patron out, scowling. I told her I was taking pictures to share on Google Maps. She said, "Generally, that's frowned upon," and made it sound like she was gonna call the cops on me. Now, after the experience, I can see why a bank wouldn't want you taking pictures, but she was EXTREMELY RUDE. I was not planning on opening an account here, & now, especially after reading the reviews, I never will.

I will never open account with this branch or even this group of banks. I suggest you don't either! Go to any other bank other than this rude lot.

I went through a three month construction loan process, in which I was approved about a month into. The other two months was spent barely getting communication with me because of underwriting being done and general terrible customer service.

At the end of those three months, they told me my builder could not be approved. Mind you rates had gone up nearly an entire point during those three months and my builder and I were just waiting buy the property to start building ASAP. Also, my builder I was using was been known from the very beginning of this loan process.

It is in my opinion, they saw how much the rates went up and tried to find any reason to back-out of the deal. When I asked about why my builder could not be approved, they told me they could not give me that information.

I should also mention, my builder has been in business for 20 years and builds many (10-20) homes along with buildings/condos each year and had no problem being approved by the next bank in a quarter of the time.

Please save yourself the trouble, do not work with these unprofessional wastes-of-time.

Some workers are snobby and rude not help full at all this branch sucks
