Compadres Mexican Restaurant

Tried the new California burrito and it was a 10/10! You could taste all different kinds of flavors, which I loved! I highly recommend trying it for yourself!!!!

Forgot to take pictures BEFORE I dug in. This is hands down. The closest authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Madison. I’m born and raised in Cali and finding good Mexican food has been a challenge. I’m definitely returning here next time I have a crave for Mexican food.

First time here since moving to Madison almost a year ago, husband and I got the birria tacos and they were fantastic! Somewhat expensive but that's expected these days. Staff was friendly and were having fun and joking together but still doing there job. We went on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy. Would recommend and will be going back!

I went to Compadres for the first time with 3 family members. We all were impressed with the restaurant.
It was clean and the decor was great.
The food was exceptional, tasty and worth the price. The menu had many of regular Mexican fare. As well, it includes many items that are made only by them.
I highly recommend Compadres!

I love the portion sizes and the seasoning. Other places the beans taste like out of a can. These have a unique taste that is very pleasing. The same goes for the chicken in the quesidilla and the rice. The whole package was delicious. I would recommend this place over and over.

Ty was the best waiter best Mexican restaurant I've been to in forever

Three of us visited the restaurant. Our waitress was the manager and was very knowledgeable about the food. She also practiced Covid safety, and the distance seating made us feel very safe. The entrees being served to customers and the menu photos all looked so good that we had a difficult time choosing what to get. The food we ordered met and topped our expectations! Although none of us had alcoholic beverages, from the looks of those who did it appeared they were wonderful.
This restaurant has moved up to the top of our favorite mexican restaurants.

I was there with my daughter and granddaughter last Saturday. The food,
the best I've ever had, including going to down to Mexico and eating that food.
Philip was our server. He was absolutely outstanding. He treated us like we were his friends. He was friendly, caring, concerning, and funny. We had such a good time with him.
In May, I am moving to Madison, not far from the restaurant. I WILL be back!

The food is always good and hot. Their portions are big without being rediculous. The staff is always friendly and attentive. If you like mexican food..this place is for you. Don't forget to get the cheese dip! It's amazing!

Shannen was our waitress an she was awesome. Our food was hot and tasting great with every bite. First time here and plan on returning again. 100 stars.

Absolute amazing. We Got to sit on patio (had it to ourself ) all the food and drinks were spot on. Highly recommend and will be back for sure. Try the Mexican Stew tacos. Delish

My FAVORITE mexican restaurant in the area, hands down. Everything is great but my favorites are the Enchiladas Mexicanas, the Chori Pollo, and the Burrito Puerto Vallarta. Delicious! Always friendly service and restaurant is always clean.
