Steak 'n Shake

Has turned into a cafeteria style restaurant where you order your food via kiosks and sit down. But I'm fine with this.

Specialty burger was excellent. Fries were skinny and delicious. Both our shakes were top notch.

I'll try the chili max Supreme next time. I love Cincinnati style chili.

Old family favorite. The food is great and the price is even better! This one is open 24 hours, has a drive thru, dining along with the old sit at the counter. I have been coming here for many, many years and I have never had a bad experience. The service is always amazing; the nicest ppl who actually know how to do their job correctly! They have any kind of milkshake you can think of. I highly recommend this Steak and Shake

One of my favorite places to have my double cheeseburgers nice melty cheese and extra ketchup but that's way thank you for the good quick fast delivery as I'm driving 9 hours back home it's a Massachusetts....

As with most food places staff is slim. Even tho there were only 2 employees working they were busting out the orders as fast as they could. Everything was to order and delicious

My friends and I enjoyed our lunch at Steak 'n Shake. The burger, taco salad, and hot dog we ordered were delicious and served quickly. Our waitress was very courteous and attentive. There were many children there. Each child got an old fashion Steak 'n Shake hat and a foldable car to play with. I saw some older children with crayons and a drawable place mat. It is like stepping back in time to a malt shop where everyone is having a good time with friends and family. The serving sizes were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Not every day three ladies can eat out for less about $14.00 and walk away full and satisfied. We highly recommend Steak 'n Shake in Elyria.

This is one of the best steak and shake resteraunts I have been to. It's always good food. Service is usually good too. They are usually super busy so expect to wait a bit.

The chicken sandwich is always tender. The grilled chicken sandwich is the way to go at steak and shake. I also enjoy the malt milk shakes they sell, the last one I had was the chocolate. It was delicious. I use to sit down and eat here. Lately I have been using the drive thru. The service here is good and fast you can not beat that.

Can’t say enough about Steak ‘n Shake by far one of the most underrated places in America to get a burger. The decor is classic and original, the menu choices are fantastic, the quantity of the food is amazing, price point is wonderful. Milk shakes oh boy from choice to full flavor just simply super satisfying. I have never experienced anything but great service however I have heard of some challenges with service. However in the end people are people and you get what energy you put out. I hope lol.

Staff: My friend, her family and myself, visited this location at almost midnight. They seemed to be a bit short staffed, but the waitress was very kind and welcoming. Although, she seemed a bit distracted and not very attentive when taking our orders.

Food: The food and deserts were delicious, well done and a good portion for their prices.

Cleaness: No one visited the bathrooms so I dont have a review about them, but the restaurant itself wad very clean and organized. The only thing i'd sughest is a thicker rug or carpet by the entrance, to help collect the snow/ ice from the outside and one wouldn't slip once inside.

I am not sure why but steak and shake is offering free fries upon request? Not sure how I didn’t know about this. Also incredible service and food at this location, such nice employees and as always great value.

Every time my wife and I go here the food is amazing. A little bit of a wait, but also worth it for fresh burgers and fries. The shakes never disappoint either.

Great service the food is really good and so inexpensive! Just wished the inside was open but they put nice picnic tables outside you can eat at. Favorite place for burgers 🍔

I was there Sunday 10/27/14, and the service was Extremely quick, great food and prices, loved the parmesan fries!, onion rings, shakes.
Far better then McDonalds shakes and burgers!

If any problems the manager attended to them quickly!
Friendly service!

I'm so happy to know that we have a high quality Steak 'n Shake franchise still around this area. The food is fresh and they have offered car hops for an old school burger experience.

The the variety of bergers and they taste very good. The fries are good and the ice cream is great, but the best part is the low price.

Family friendly, family price, great place to eat.
Service was attentive and friendly.
Food was hot and had a home-cooked taste and feel to it.
You need a spoon for their milkshakes! :-)
