Goodwill Industries of Lorain County

I been going to Goodwill since January. Met amazing teachers Rick and Bart, they do the digital technical program. Before i took my summer semester as a college student. My teachers help me know deeper about computers. Beside it FREE, not the one i have to pay out pocket for summer. When i did finally when back to school my teacher taught me what I already know including Google (everything about google). Me already knowing digital technical by Goodwill help me pass my computer class in college. Goodwill is more than just a industrial and store. It's Missionaries business that help with Job search, computer programs, youth programs, homeless programs, and more. Goodwill help those that want to help themselves to progress with help of resources Goodwill is willing to provide. Stop saying there are no programs that will help you. Make Goodwill your first options and be ready to go work.

I just wanted to thank this wonderful organization for all the civic duty it provides for our community. The career fairs are a great resources along with the workforce development team. Keep up the awesome work!!!

What an amazing team of people that truly have a heart to Give a hand up not out

Saw a great furniture set but had sold tag on it. Was told I couldn’t purchase. As I was leaving I saw an employee loading the same furniture into their car and return to the store. I see employees shopping and hiding stuff all the time. Called home office left several messages but no one called me back. This is how they do things.

I am upset, noticed today how an employee coming out of the store. Being harassed for wearing a baseball cap. Than the ladies also harassed her about not having a company shirt or vest. She responded politely that she only got a badge when she got hired. I didn’t like the blonde being rude to her. She stayed silent didn’t respond to her. To be honest she’s not the only employee that wears a baseball cap. I don’t like the way they only attacked her on her way out of the store. Very disappointed in Goodwill treatment of this one employee. Makes me wonder how many others are being mistreated by the company.

Rescheduled furniture pickup at the last minute. Said they were coming the next day and then no showed. Very unprofessional and disorganized. Was supposed to get a call back. Nobody called.
