Vergennes Laundry

Vergennes Laundry is a gem. I feel so fortunate to live near this place, it’s where I bring all my out of state friends for a tasty treat, a delicious latte, or my fav granola and yogurt bowl. Everything I’ve had from here has been amazing. Simply delicious!! The interior of the space is also really calming and visually delightful. Lots of cool pantry items to buy, cool cookbooks and interior design books and other kitchenware. It has all of my favorite things combined in one place 👌🏼

This was the star of our trip. We drove from Cape Cod specifically to experience VL. What a gem. Tucked away on a cutie pie street in an equally cutie pie town. The setting is bucolic and VL is the bomb. Inside, the bakers are creating amazing sweet and savory treats. I honestly cannot remember what our treats were called but they were divine. My partner had Turkish eggs and this fluffy bread. Don't ask, just GO. Mad love for VL.

A small but cozy little coffee shop where you can grab a seat and enjoy a good locally sourced breakfast, and their homemade pita. Everything was incredible! <3
We had the Turkish eggs, the Lemon yogurt cake and a Almond croissant. We both had a Cortado coffee to go with.
We absolutely loved everything! You could taste the food was made with love!
We also loved that we could come in with our little doggo 🐕‍🦺.

I go to Vergennes Laundry whenever I can! Entering feels like a warm hug, with the aroma of baked goods in the air. The staff is friendly and well trained. The food is delectable, as is the coffee. Cardamom buns, sour dough croissants, anything from the pastry case! And the Turkish eggs are incredible. You’ll
always find a cool treat on the shelves, whether it’s chocolate or a mustard. Make sure to stop by or make a trip. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything about this place is remarkable. The food is outstanding, the ambiance is magical and the people are top-notch — Nadia, Kevin and the rest of their crew are some of the kindest people around.

The breakfast panini is hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and their cardamom buns are to die for.

A stop a Vergennes Laundry is always at the top of our list when we return to Vermont.

How lucky we are to have VL nearby! Every visit feels like being transported to another world in all the best ways. Top notch everything- such a gorgeous spread each time. The honey cake and the Turkish eggs are my favorite, but you really can’t go wrong! Definitely recommend going (perhaps) out of your way to visit- you won’t be disappointed!

Vergennes Laundry is perfect. Exquisite food in a bright, sunny space made and served by lovely people. I drive down regularly from Burlington but would travel from even farther if I had to—it’s always worth the trip. I highly recommend the Moroccan eggs, panini, and cardamom buns, but everything is delicious. And be sure home to take home a loaf of bread!

Living locally and I always recommend Vergennes Laundry to those passing through. The aesthetic of the place alone is so calm and inviting. The pastries and fresh baked bread are to die for. I love getting a Chai late, but I only wish I could choose a larger size.

Today I stopped in for brunch and tried the Shakshuka. I got the portion for 1 and it definitely could have been shared with another person but it was so good I can't wait to go back and get it next time!

Our favorite bakery in Vermont. They offer a limited menu of brunch offerings, but everything we've tried has been superb. Not open every day--check ahead.

Can this place be any cuter? The food was amazing. I had the Turkish eggs with lebne and pita, and that may have been the best pita I’ve ever had. The pastry to-go was great too. This place is a gem! What are you waiting for, go check it out!

The most beautiful place with the kindest, friendliest staff AND the tastiest treats. Don’t miss the Caesar salad, Turkish eggs, and morning buns!!! Do not miss this stop.

Everything here is good. Could not get enough of the cardamom buns!! Enjoyed chatting with the owner; she’s kind and excellent at what she does.

Really cute place, friendly service and excellent baked goods. We especially loved the za’atar and feta scone and the coconut chocolate banana bread. Looking forward to coming back!

A true treasure. One of the best French bakeries I’ve been to anywhere in the US. Such incredible charm and wonderful bread! This is not one to miss.

This was my first time in Vergennes, and this was honestly the best bakery every. The staff is extremely welcoming and beyond nice and friendly. The foood though is ammmmaaaazing, the ceasar salad is mouthwatering one of the best salads I’ve ever ever had, it’s a must to try it when you come !!! The owner is really sweet🥰
