La Piñata Mexican Grill + Bar

I have been to this restaurant twice now, and both times, everything we ordered was very delicious. The food tastes very authentic, and the drinks are great. The last time we visited, it took a little long for the food to come out because they were short staffed, but they ended up giving us a dessert (Tres Leches) to complement the wait. That's the way to do business! We definitely appreciated it; it was delicious!We'll be back there for sure.

This place is awesome! Went here the first time a couple weeks ago on date night. So good. The waitstaff is so sweet and the restaurant is so lovely inside—so colorful and full of life!
We had enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. I had a couple yummy cocktails—great!

Everything I've had so far has been very tasty. The drinks are strong! Service is polite and timely. Parking is a bit of a pain. There are spots behind the building, but it's a little bit of a walk. My favorite Rhode Island Mexican place no doubt.

Came here for a quick bite before heading over to my tattoo appt at 1001 Troubles.

A quiet week day afternoon, I was able to get seated after a few minutes. Able to sit where I wanted. Enjoyed the outside seating and served chips and salsa right away.

Drink was good, though not stirred/shaken well. Taquitos were yummy with nice portions of guac and sour cream.

Menu mentioned a 7% surcharge beyond pricing due to cost of food.

I was able to have a drink and snack within 30mins which was absolutely perfect. Loved the patio and will definitely come back for a full meal.

Love dining here everything tastes great to the food and the drinks you won't be disappointed.. Wonderful atmosphere and everyone is very friendly.

Authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. The food is excellent.
The servings are pretty large.
You'll probably need a to-go box.
Service has always been fast and friendly.
I've been here a few times and have always sat outside, so I can't speak for the indoor atmosphere.
Outdoor dining is pleasant though, despite being on a busy main road.
This place is definitely worth a visit, especially if Taco Bell has been your only Mexican food experience.

One of the best latin resturaunts I have been to. 5 star but maybe 4 because servers never said their name. And at end we waited 15 minutes for one young fellow to take CC but he never showed.
Ceviche was incredible app. Pollo salad had rice and blk beans. Wife had Creamy shrimp cameron with refried. Huge portions!
Clean in and outside, and inside stylized. Live music played by virtuoso Julio.

Visiting for the first time- AMAZING. These margaritas are delicious AND actually have alcohol in them. And the food....absolutely delicious. The staff is SO friendly. We got the La Piñata Burrito and a Trio Fajita. Will be returning for sure.

Cozy ambiance. We love the food. It was very generous so be ready for carying some boxes to home. Fridays and Saturdays they have live music. A Mexican guy who is a great singer. He communicated with audience such a way that it's impossible to leave the place without having fun and dance. We thought we will have a quick dinner and then go to another bar. Instead we had so much fun here and not moved. I can describe it as latin music version of a Nashville's performance . He made us laughed and give background of songs. End of the night we met him and tell him how much we enjoyed. We learned that he is a music teacher. He makes the place and our night. We will come back.

Wonderful experience as usual! Get there soon for the beautiful outdoor patio, delicious food and drinks, and awesome service. So glad we went to venture out after being cooped up for so long!

Incredible food and service - you owe it to yourself to try the Trio Fajita and hibiscus margarita. Can't say enough good about this place!

Very good food with service to match. Taco salad with short rib beef and the two taco combo made for an excellent early dinner. The prices are reasonable.

The taco salad in particular is noteworthy. Much, much better than the usual ground beef and iceberg lettuce found elsewhere. The Piniata version has better greens and a great taste.

Do yourself a favor and grab some fine Mexican food here. Do your community a favor and dine at this and other locally owned establishments.

Solid food, and even better margaritas. Everyone is very friendly, and last time I was there one of the bosses hit me and my buddy with a couple shots of Añejo on the house.
