Pueblo West Campground

I am a full time resident have been here for a year now because of my job. At first I heard some story's not the best story's and I have not experienced one bad thing. the new owners come in and cleaned this place up before i got here. its quite and peaceful I have not seen or experienced any of the crazy things I heard. The owners and managers are nice and watch over the place and manage it vary well its clean and peaceful place to stay. The price are vary reasonable I have been to other camp grounds what are not as nice what cost alot more.

Lived here for over 3 years as a war era veteran in transition from homelessness - after a hit and run driver almost killed me over 5 years ago....
.... after I stopped in to tell them my story and inquire about prices, Gina made sure that I was on the reservation list for a cabin. (I had just gotten a job at Goodwill, but was living in my pickup truck).
After a few months of living in my truck (in winter) & working at Goodwill, Gina called me with the news of an available cabin! I was sure I had been forgotten (like all the other times), BUT NO!! - Pueblo West Campground is run by people who really care about people....

Pueblo West Campground is currently under updates and improvements all across the property. I see major investments in all of the grounds & facilities - and it shows.
Pueblo West Campground is a nice RV park that also has horse boarding, a bicycle & motocross track, a quiet & safe environment, with a strong "neighborhood watch" security, - and shopping just a walk away....

If you're passing through, check them out. No disappointments.

Right on the foothills of the Rocky mountains. A 1/2 hour from the campground & full of the local history of the West, Canyon City's Great River Gorge is a place to explore, take stunning pictures, aircraft scenic tours, zip lining or skydiving at the Gorge! Colorado Springs & Pike's Peak are 1/2 hour away, but if you want to stay local, there is bicycle/hiking trail access from the RV park. Pueblo Lake State Park allows awesome days or weekends on the water, on the trails and bike paths, with camping available as well. While there, make sure to go to the Liberty Point Memorial for veterans that is located above the lake with stunning scenic vistas in every direction.
A beautiful area summer or winter, good, trustworthy people, a VERY dedicated staff, and your choice of a slow, relaxing stay - or exciting extreme fun in the area's many venues...well worth your stay!

Stayed for about 7 months and cant wait to come back. Thank you everybody for making my family feel welcome! As long as you stay kind, humble and respectful this is a hidden gem in my eyes! Affordable, close proximity to necessities, across the street from a beautiful walking trail, and onsite staff and owner are very helpful and genuinely care.

My schedule included a work gang move, of which we were not informed of until the day we were moving., but the lady that helped me, said only one day here and one day there., then she called me back 10 minutes later and talked with her boss and they were able to accommodate me. Totally awesome, I will definitely be back. Everything there was good, the owner should be very proud to have her and other staff members working there. Very helpful and courteous. Thankyous.

Absolutely outstanding experience. The Management team is nothing short of exemplary in their professionalism and courteous manner. Always accommodating within reason, they make sure that their guests here at the campground are treated with respect and dignity regardless of situation and are sure to keep a high standard of integrity throughout. Firm, but more importantly, fair with facilities that are kept in great repair AND CLEAN, being here has been a great experience and the word “thankful” does little justice to how my family and I feel about being here. You may read negative experiences on here, but it has been my experience that with a negative experience usually comes from someone that either “stretches the rules” a bit more than they should or usually want Waldorff Astoria treatment and accommodations for WalMart prices which is completely unreasonable. The rates at Pueblo West Campground are MORE than fair and the amenities are absolutely more than great.

My parents are living their right now. It is a very nice campground as far as inner city camping goes. They have very good rates and very nice people. The horses all belong to individual campers so if they are being mistreated or not is entirely up to the individual campers. The campground actually goes above and beyond to try and help out with care and upkeep of the horses. They have wonderful round pins an arena and plenty of open space to ride.

The owner has had this campground for 17 years now that I've known of. Always respectful and friendly. Clean shower house and laundry room. They are always full so getting a spot can be difficult at times. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with work.

They could definitely upgrade the “playground” but other than that we enjoy staying here.

Pueblo West campgrounds has security cameras everywhere! They are fully staffed with clean bathrooms and close to highway 50, WalMart very convenient and safe. They allow horses dogs on a leash if out in the public areas. 5 years ago they made major policy changes. You can ignore all reviews prior to that due to these changes.

I just finished a 9 month stay in a cabin at Pueblo West Campgrounds, from January to now, while working in the area. Having visiting several RV parks over the years with my profession, I must say that the Pueblo West Campground stands out as one of the best. This isn't a small RV park run by a couple of people in their spare time; it is a fully staffed, professional park.

The staff is always nice and responsive to questions and needs. The bathrooms/showers and laundry room is always clean and stocked. The free wifi internet worked better then most RV parks I've stayed at. The cabin was clean and well maintained (bonus: microwave/fridge/satellite TV included with cabins; most park cabins don't).

The park is also situated in one of the quietest areas in Pueblo County. For a large park with such a wide range of residents, there were almost no disturbances; (once a couple of kids set off fireworks at 4 a.m. on 4th July, another time a couple of guys got into an arguement... that's all during my entire 9 month stay!). Each time staff was quick and responsive to address the issue. I felt very safe and content throughout my stay.

Whether it's camping in a tent, renting a cabin, or parking your RV in a lot, I highly recommend this RV park.

Very clean showers and restrooms. Laundry facility on site. Tent camping was only 20 dollars...thank you for keeping pricing at a great price!

Quiet easy access park with spacious sites hookups include water, sewer and 30 or 50 amp service amenities are limited but campground is near shopping and the Pueblo reservoir.

I have to say for a rv park it's really clean. I be here for a month so I post more about the place in a few days everyone seams nice so far.

Very quite and a nice spot to get lost in yourself. Excellent office help and the property has never looks more beautiful.

This place is clean safe and has no inside furniture allowed outside! 2.5 yrs I've visited this campground!
