I am new to Fruita and have not had time to find a new doctor. But on May 4 had a fall and went to the Emergency. All the staff was excellent. Fast to respond, very caring and explained everything every step through my process. They were very thorough as I had a head scan, X-rays, stitches, and wrist strap provided. They provided me handouts for follow up and for potential future primary care providers. Very pleased.

It was our turn for our first COVID-19 vaccination. I was expecting some sort of organized chaos. What a wonderful surprise to find that the day after day event was amazingly well organized. Due to the excellent appointment process it was not crowed and there were virtually no lines. From the paperwork to the injection the process was smooth and fluid. Our military could probably learn a thing or two about logistics from these folks. The staff was extraordinarily well organized, friendly, and polite. The whole thing gave me confidence in the process and the staff.

Received my first COVID vaccine at Colorado Canyons. It was an awesome experience! All the staff and volunteers did a great job. The whole process was smooth, quick and efficient. Registration was easy, and once we got there, we were quickly moved from one station to another. The longest wait was in the observation area for the required 15 minutes. Everyone was very helpful and professional. They even provided goodies! A heartfelt thanks to everyone that made this the best experience in the last year.

Had the same good experience for the second vaccine dose today.

Exceptional care in the ER. Wonderful nurses, EMT, and doctors who treated an elderly family member.

Had an appointment for a COVID 19 vaccination, but was unable to make the date work. They rescheduled me within 10 days, and the whole process was very well managed and operated. I was not timing anything, but it could not have taken more than two minutes to get vaccinated, and then seated to ensure there was no reaction. Great organization and lots of caring staff and volunteers to help out. Excellent experience!!

Took my 93 year old mother to ER. Took her in promptly, Taryn was great, Dr. Flanko(might be misspelled) was wonderful, very caring and thorough. Overall experience was excellent. I’ve had several ER experiences at FHW and all have been great.

My husband and I received our COVID vaccines there today. The process took about 10 minutes from arriving to getting our injections. We had to linger 15 minutes more to guarantee no adverse reactions occurred. It went very smoothly. Great jobs folks!

Received my first COVID-19 vaccine 2/19. I was very impressed how organized every station was. Friendly, quick and thorough service. Loved the snacks while we waited our 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine. EXCELLENT service! I appreciated the information about FHW which included V-safe (the after vaccination health checker), and the reminder as to when my next appointment is. GREAT JOB!

The staff in the ED were kind, and efficient. The young man doing my IV had to do it while I was standing, which he had never done before, and did an amazing job. The Doc is one of my favorites of all time. Quick diagnosis and got me all settled to go to another hospital for emergency surgery. Love this place.

Available for lab draws on Saturday! Nice, professional staff.

My husband and I felt so lucky to have been chosen to receive our Covid vaccines at Colorado Canyons Hospital. The process flowed so smoothly that there wasn't even a minute wasted beginning from being greeted at the door, being physically escorted to the room in which the vaccine was being administered, and actually receiving the vaccine. We actually felt spoiled during our requisite fifteen-minute wait before we could leave after the vaccine when we were offered cookies and juice. Finally, we were provided with goody bags on our way out. Every person was ultra friendly and helpful. We can't say enough about how wonderful the entire process was. Thank you, Colorado Canyons Hospital!

We received our second COVID vaccine shot today and we are very impressed with the organization of everything at this location. In addition to being very efficient, they treat you to great snacks to enjoy while you are waiting for your 15 minutes to complete. Great job!

This morning I got Pfizer COVID- Vaccine. From the time I stepped in side Family Health West Hospital I was greeted by welcoming staff. Every step I was guided by helpful staff. It was so easy to feel comfortable and welcomed. I got my Vaccination with very little waiting. Then I was guided to a 15 minute waiting area. We were provided comfortable chairs and wonderful refreshments Thank You to all the wonderful staff at Family Health West.

I was completely impressed with the Covid vaccination clinic held at Colorado Canyons Hospital on March 19, 2021. It was well organized and the services flowed so smoothly. No waiting in lines, everyone was helpful, friendly, and professional. Also a plentiful supply of snacks and drinks. Congratulations on a job well done. Thank you for making my vaccination experience the best it could possibly be.

Family Health West was extremely organized and efficient. I arrived a little early and was done in no time! There were workers at literally every turn and step along the way. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Snacks were provided for our enjoyment during the 15 minute post-injection observation period. I was very pleased with the efficiency and organization of this process. Well done!!!

The team at Family Health West did an outstanding job with the recent COVID vaccine clinic. We were in and out in twenty minutes and the entire process was smooth and the tone was friendly and upbeat.

We’ve had prior experiences at this hospital that were equally top-notch. Friendly, quality care in a smaller hospital environment!

Great experience

When I arrived at the entrance there were people to direct us. I walked up the stairs and was promptly directed into a large room where I was checked in and asked for my ID. Then I was directed to a doctor who explained the process and gave me the vaccine. There was a large waiting area where I relaxed for the required 15 minutes. As I left I was offered new face masks, water, cookies and hand sanitizer.
This event was extremely well organized and a pleasant experience. The staff was great.
I left with an appointment to receive my second shot in exactly 3 weeks. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Thank you to everyone involved.

My husband Jeff and I received our Covid Vaccines 2/19 and 3/12. Originally, we had a mix-up in scheduling our shots for the same day. On 2/16, I called and emailed Dana Glassier to assist us with getting our shots scheduled for the same day. I want to thank Dana for providing us exceptional service by accomodating our urgent request. We are both senior citizens. Your volunteers and staff were very friendly for both of our appointments. This was very well organized and we didn't have to wait in line and were out of there in 20 minutes or less. P.S. snacks were appreciated.

Got my first COVID vaccination here. Very organized and well run. Lots of employees/volunteers offering their assistance. Every 6 feet or so there was someone to tell you where to go next, or to wait a few minutes and always asking how you were. Awesome experience!

I went to Colorado Canyons Hospital on 3/12/21 to get my 2nd Covid vaccination. My experience was just as excellent as it was for my 1st vaccination on 2/19/21.
I was greeted at the entrance by a very friendly gentleman, he informed me of where to continue to go to the vaccination area. Along the way there were several other very nice and informative people making sure that I found my way and didn't end up in an empty hallway. When I reached the vaccination area, I was promptly directed to a station to check me in. Then I was shown to a nurse that verified my information and gave me the vaccination. She administered it very smoothly, I barely felt the needle. She said I could proceed to the waiting area to verify that I had no adverse reaction. I was offered juice, water and cookies. While waiting, I witnessed chairs being wiped down and cleaned as soon as each chair was vacated. After waiting 15 minutes with no adverse reaction, I headed to the exit door and was again greeted by another very helpful gentleman that asked if I had any questions and I was also offered a bag of popcorn. There were several people again making sure that I found my way without getting lost.
The entire experience, both times, were very pleasant. Much better than I anticipated after hearing experiences from other people that received their vaccines at other locations.
