I really love this historic hotel!! It’s such a neat piece of history and has affordable rooms! The walls are pretty thin but they provide earplugs, I mean the place is over 100 years old but is in great condition. The restaurant on site is incredible and the staff are super nice. Only thing that could improve is a mattress topper on the mattresses, they seem a little outdated for how nice the hotel is.

Amazing once again! Another year with the Silverman law office Christmas party! Service is amazing start to finish. Walked in and immediately greeted with a glass of champagne by their exceptional front desk staff. This hotel is beautifully kept and we love staying here.
Dinner was on time and just amazing. We had the same waitress as last year and she was once again on point. Went downstairs for karaoke and had a blast!

I am so glad I was able to stay here! It was cute, charming, and loved the history of it! The service was top notch! Had been traveling for hours and was pretty tired upon arrival. The lady working the front desk was so kind offering champagne and a complimentary lavender hand towel. She even gave us a tour around. I loved the wrap around porch nice way to end the day sitting outside and relaxing . Will definitely be back!!

This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and has excellent service. Would stay here again any time. Big shout out to Jeanine at the front desk for taking such good care of two weary travelers!

Absolutely lovely place! The cottages are beyond beautiful and Pompey's grill is completely to die for. Best food I've ever eaten!

Could not be happier that I chose the historic sacagawea hotel for my wedding venue, guests were so delighted by the hidden gem in three forks they couldn't stop raving! Arianna was my incredible coordinator that never relented being attentive, detailed, and amazing. I so appreciated each staff member that made my wedding a true event that everyone will always remember!

The hotel and Sac Bar are priceless. Beautiful historic building and food is amazing. Both at Pompey's and Sac. Very different experiences but both great food. Only had a couple of things that I wouldn't recommend but I've been there about 20 times. Odds are good you'll have great food.

Only negative comment is that the Sac Bar does not have a dedicated bartender. The servers make all the drinks so you never really know what you're going to get or how knowledgeable they'll be.

Very cool, historic hotel. The lavender hand towels and champagne upon entry were a great touch after traveling all day. The restaurant was amazing, the rooms were beautiful. Carrying our bags upon 2 flights of stairs wasn’t ideal, but it’s an old building so we understand that it would compromise the historic nature by adding one.

The only drawback was it was supposed to be Prime Rib Wednesday and since had reservations they didnt call and inform otherwise.
Havent had prime rib in a while so was disappointed!

Awesome place!
Champagne and warm cloth to each guest upon arrival. Great room.
W nice little chocolate pieces from Montana Chocolate Company. White chocolate w raspberry? pieces in it. Very good!
Breakfast minor issue: they said banana bread (it wasn't, maybe chocolate chip...not my idea of breakfast)
Had dinner downstairs in sposrtsbar area. Had mac n cheese w chicken and bacon n. Very good!

The hotel is a gem and worth the visit. Old, historical, quaint, but well-maintained. We had a clean, quiet room that was comfortable. I wish I had made better use of the porch, perhaps trying a cigar with the complimentary champagne. Breakfast was very limited and self-serve, but the poppy seed bread cakes were tasty.

This hotel is very charming and cute! The staff was super nice, we were greeted with champagne. The clerk was very helpful and completely went out of his way to accommodate us, as we had a late arrival. The cottages are so beautiful and well equipped. They have small touches in every room that make it that much sweeter. I definitely recommend staying here, if you arrive late you will have to drive a few miles for the nearest restaurant.

We booked the Sac for our Annual Planning meeting for our Helena-based team, along with a dining reservation for a large group, and several hotel rooms for our team, and had a first class experience all the way. The technology and coffee bar in the meeting room was perfect. There was even a tree decorated in the room! We worked with Arianna, the event coordinator, and she took great care of us, she was very flexible when our plans changed, and communicative throughout the entire process - booking to leaving after our meeting. She was wonderful and easy to work with! If you’re looking for a special atmosphere to reward your team for their hard work, book at the Sac! They will be our first call next year when it comes time to plan our meeting!

We have stopped at Wheat Montana in Three Forks many times passing along I-90 and have seen the sign for the hotel. This last trip was too much. I decided on our way back west we needed to see if we could get a room in this hotel (completely sight unseen) with such a famous name. I admit I was a bit worried as some of the places we stay on our month-long road trip were far from good, even though part of a national chain. When we pulled up, our mouths dropped. What a delightful surprise. It was better than expected. The lobby is a page out of the old west’s history and the desk staff was wonderful. We loved the room but unfortunately were so exhausted we never got the chance to eat at the restaurant. I will save it for the next I-90 journey and this is our new stopping place before we pick up our flour at the Wheat Montana Bakery (another don’t pass by this place stop). The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast but they recommended a lovely little local place just down the street that had great food and a funny and delightful server.

Classic place. We so enjoyed this hotel. For two bigger people the room was a little small but it had every amenity needed. We enjoyed the front porch in the morning and the lobby for casual conversation. The restaurants were excellent. We had lamb, short ribs and more casual fare downstairs. The hotel was located where we needed between friends and downtown Bozeman. A very rustic and casual atmosphere. Loved it.

So we have three dogs which makes it hard to find lodging sometimes. We found this place and they allow pets of any size. I'm not familiar with the amount of pets they allow but we have 3 large dogs. The price was alot higher than we have paid ever even with just the 2 of us. However, we were greeted with complimentary wine and lavender scented towels she almost had to pry from my hands. It had its own bar and restaurant which served delicious food. I would recommend this to people without animals because then it's more affordable. Really it is worth it.
