Broken Spur Motel

We were evacuated from Yellowstone and were looking for a place to spend the night. Broken spur was perfect- well furnished rooms, clean sheets, excellent breakfast and coffee - couldn’t have asked for more. The price was spot on and we were not unfairly overcharged unlike the other hotels around town - thank you!

This place is a great find if you're like me and prefer the mom-and-pop feel of a small town motel like this. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, the shower was hot, and the bed comfortable... I felt the price was spot-on. They are also biker friendly and were understanding of my desire to park my bike right outside my door. If you are in the area, skip all the big towns and stay here. Great little place, and the owner directed me to a good bar/restaurant within walking distance. I wish there were more places like this!

We had an excellant experience at Broken Spur Motel. The owners were very friendly, gracious and accomadating of our needs. Our room was exactly as described... Clean, comfortable, up to date and very affordable. There are several local restuarants in close proximity to the motel. We left with a warm feeling that we had exerienced small town America. We can recommend Broken Spur and have no qualms about staying there when we go back to MT.

Their rooms are very clean, I will even say spotless!! Comfy beds, Friendly staff they were very welcoming. This is our second year visiting Montana and look forward to staying here again next year.

We were in town for work and these guys were more than accommodating for us during our stay. Definitely recommend them if you’re in Three Forks!

Room was clean and spacious. The owner/manager was very helpful for us and 2 little dogs. He even supplied us with a sharps container as one of dogs is diabetic. Excellent service.

We were dropped off here by a tow truck driver. Best breakdown ever. Romantic, quiet and beautiful. Owners are very personable and proud of what they have built, rooms are meticulously cleaned and dc uper comfortable. I need to get to a different town and the owners gave me a ride. Who does that in this day and age?

This is an excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable and an easy walk to town for beverages and something to eat.

Awesome little Mom & Pop hotel. The construction is dated, but impeccably kept up, and the owner will tell you right away that he likes his place quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for a place to throw a party in your room, look elsewhere.

We had the greatest experience here a couple months ago. We were driving home from OR to MN late one night with a full van (three adults, two small children, and a puppy) when our transmission went out just off of the interstate. We called The Broken Spur Motel and they came and picked us all up in two separate trips. The owners were so helpful and compassionate towards our situation. Our van was not able to be fixed for several days, so we had to rent a car for the remainder of the trip. They brought us to the rental hub in another town about 30 miles away and stayed with us until we were on our way. With hesitation and resistance she finally accepted our offer of money for her time and care for all of us that she so graciously went far and beyond out of her way or duty. It was so nice to be reminded that there good people left in this world. I am embarrassed to say that I don't even remember their names, but they will be forever remembered for their hospitality! Thank you Broken Spur for keeping my family and children cared for.

Amazing price and value. Clean. HIGHLY recommend this place. It is a nice motel that the owner actually works at and when he told us the price ($99 on this day) it included all taxes and fees. We visited with other guests on benches outside the rooms. There is a lot to do in Three Forks---Fantastic supper at Hotel Sacagawea--Pompey grill, wonderful museum during the day, head waters park for the Missouri, The Madison Buffalo jump nearby showing a historic site where Indians did buffalo drives to gain meat and material.

This Motel is amazing, it has very updated rooms with blow dryers, microwave, fridge, and a pretty new flatscreen TV. The beds were comfortable, and very clean. If you are looking for a affordable motel I would definitely recommend The Broken Spur.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Hosts were accommodating. I left something behind in the hotel and they went through all the trouble of mailing it to me I’m so thankful!!! Overall a fantastic little motel

Easy walk to center of Three Forks, drive-in coffee shop next door. On-site family-centric management very responsive to guests' needs. Breakfast in comfy common area at check-in lobby. Clean rooms, not fancy, but everything you need.

Rooms are very clean and the proprietor trys his best to make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. They go out of their way to accommodate you.. Went outside with us and directed us to a great place to eat. Thanks, Rodger...I'll be back!

Lovely second floor room! Staff are very very attentive and friendly to their guests! Parking is a bit cramped, but we made it work. Thank you! 👍

this motel is quiet, and warm in the winter. Close proximity to the fairgrounds and IGA grocery store make it very convenient to stay for events in town. This is a very good Montana motel experience!

Another, off the beatin path, classic road trip motel. Clean rooms and away from the freeway. Modest upgrades make it a comfortable stay. Close to the grocery store and walking distance to downtown eateries and watering holes.

Great little old fashioned motel. Very well kept & clean. Owners are really nice & helpful. Will stay here again.
