The wranglers were lovely and the wild horse ride was beautiful. We saw two bands of wild horses and had a great experience riding the seasoned geldings Reggie and Mr Ludo.

This place was awesome. Our two year old daughter rode her first horse here this weekend. The staff was welcome and friendly, the service was extremely affordable and our daughter had a blast. We will definitely be back!

Rumrick is a tradition for my family and a must do when visiting the Grand Junction area. If your looking for a special activity, i recommend a 1 - or 2 hour professionally guided horseback ride. This place has air conditioning and indoor restrooms.

Great outfitter! We will definitely be returning for a guided adventure or boat rental. We took a full-day raft trip through Ruby-Horsethief with Nick, and it was amazing. The weather could have been better, but Nick made sure we were all comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable about the geology, ecology, wildlife and history of the area we floated. Good times!

We did the two hour sunset ride. What a beautiful way to explore the canyon lands. Kirby you were a wonderful guide. Kingston, Luto and Bach were smooth rides.

I have been using Rimrock for years to shuttle my vehicles. They are always reliable and professional; I have never had an issue. Thanks Rimrock!

Went back rafting for the second year and the experience was just as amazing as the first time. The stretch of river is suitable for beginners and all 11 of us survived despite the colder October weather, not bringing a lighter, and the crazy thunderstorm on day 1. Rafts were easy to maneuver and the groovers didn't scar me for life.

I hosted a family reunion of 16 peeps and planned a full day raft through Rim Rock Adventures. Travis in the office was awesome. Handled all my questions and special requests perfectly. We set off from the Loma launch with three rafts, and three great guides. Nick, Taylor and Josh, all of which were informative, fun and engaging. We had such a great time! I'd highly recommend Rim Rock and look forward to a adventure with them in the future!! Thanks guys!

We had a great experience on our group raft excursion. We got to swim in the water at two spots; and our guide was great. Very personable and made us all feel very comfortable. I loved that they had free water bottles for everyone on the raft, and their life jackets came in a good variety of sizes.

We took our experience back in mid May and it was worth very pesos. My woman is familiar with horses so this experience to see wild horses was on both our bucket list. Interest fact-there was a guy added to our group taking this trip as part of his bucket list. Yea, he was dressed as the safari hunter from the Jurmanji move and abit older than us but let this be proof, dreams come in all ages.
This was no 30 minute trail ride thru a park trail, this was real hard core experience in a canyon 30 minutes northeast from here just outside the tiny town of Cameo. literally in the middle of wild west territory.
Horses are funny. They can sense your mood and they will mess with you and they like to hug the edge of the trail so u could look acouple hundred feet down.
Every minute of our 2 hr trip was a visual experience. Tip #2-listen to the guide for what to wear. Even for May, the heat and sun was intense and you will drink abit of water so try to keep afew bottles cold.
We didn't see any wild horses but had a experience of a lifetime for 2 disabled people in there mid 60's.

My husband, my 8 year old, and myself participated in the Red Rock Ride and it did not disappoint! The guides where very helpful and made me feel comfortable even though I was a little terrified going down the cliff. (wasn't really a cliff, I'm being a little dramatic!) The horses sweet and new exactly how to navigate the rough terrain. We can't wait to come back and do the sunset ride.

My husband and I had an hour tour ride. It was beautiful and such a treat to be able to see the view this way. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and we had a pleasant time.

Best river guides in the Americas! Thanks to Admiral Brock and Capn Cook we had a truly perfect day in the wilds of Colorado rafting through desert canyons. Top notch service. These guys know natural history. And a beautiful way to get up close to a sacred herd of Bighorn Goats! As shown. Thanks and see you again!

Fortunately, I was able to jump on a morning ride with little notice. DaKota is a gem. The company is efficient and runs well. The combo riding and rafting looks fun. A great way to start the day and felt more connected to this beautiful area while riding with Dakota.

I managed to make their jobs much harder because I didn’t know something important about my car so that they could shuttle it and they managed to be flexible and figure it out and I am very grateful. They were extremely helpful, highly recommend.

First time on horses for most of my group.. the horses chosen for us were very friendly. The staff was super amazing, helpful, always on guard to help. I only went for the horses but they also do water stuff on the river. I will definitely do this again with the family, kids and adults alike loved the experience!

Chanel was our guide. This place is amazing. We've never been on a horse before so we let our guide know. She made sure our concerns were addressed & put us with the most docile & experienced horses. Alexis helped as co-guide. Both ladies were extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Even checking in was incredibly easy. Waivers are available online. We will definitely be back!

We went on the 2 hour horseback ride—it was wonderful! Kirby was a hilarious guide, and we felt safe the entire time. We had a great experience, and would highly recommend to beginners and horse pros alike!

Rimrock Adventures provided us an excellent experience during our stay in Grand Junction. We found spots in the 2 hour horseback riding tour. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I felt a familiarity from them you'd expect from close friends, making the ride that much more entertaining as we traversed the 'desert'. Everyone on the ride agreed that spring was the best time to go out and enjoy yourselves, however, I'm confident their tours will satisfy your need for some casual adventure regardless of the season. If you have an opportunity you MUST set time for this. You absolutely won't regret it.
