Very easy walk for the family, and the water isn't that cold. 🥶

It wasn't crowded for me, and I went on a Saturday-Sunday overnighter. It was out of the way, but so worth it. The camping was free, and the lake's rope swing was super fun. Be warned though, that lake is from snow runoff; it's quite cold, but on a sunny day you warm up quick when you get out of the water.

If you want a secluded, beautiful, crystal clear lake to get away to, then go here! Be aware that it is frigid almost the entire year long though. But people tend to not care about that and seeing from tree swings into the water! I haven't done it, but it looks like a blast!

It's a fun home with an amazing lake from snow run off. People being their paddle boards although it's a bit of a hike bringing it up. But worth it. Come on a hot day for a nice cool off. Also has a tall to swing.

Cars start rolling in at 8 or 9 in the morning. Place can be crazy busy on a weekend in the summer. I recomend getting there at sun up, you will usually have the place to yourself. There is nothing l I'l ke an icy plunge to wake you up.

There is about a 1/3 mile hike to the lake. Easy hike, benches along the way for rests.

There usually is a rope swing on a big tree @ the lakes edge. This is what attracts most of the visitors.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The road is a little rough, its better to take a truck, and it takes a while to get to... but the scenery is gorgeous and it's well worth it. Beautiful, gorgeous and perfect

Beautiful little Lakes crystal clear water. Short hike but the drive up the road is very washboard so it takes almost 30 plus minutes to go about 10 miles

Beautiful lake if you can survive the drive up to the trail head. The road is 8 miles of rough terrain.
