Zenergy Sports Rehab Clinic

Last March I suffered an injury to my lower back and my doctor referred me for physical therapy at Zenergy Sports Rehab. Erin Finnegan, Physical Therapist introduced herself and the journey began. I’m not new to PT and have worked with a number of practitioners over the years for a variety of aches and pains – small and large. When I met Erin in early March, 2023 I was in significant pain. Over the next 4-5 months I moved out of the acute pain and began to improve. There were a number of things I appreciated about Erin’s approach.

• She met me where I was mentally and physically. With a lot of PT there can be a cookie cutter approach to where you are. With Erin, I believe she listened and then began to develop a plan to get me back in the game.
• From the first appointment she built a plan. Each session she would add on to those handwritten instructions and diagrams. They allowed us to review progress and build on them incrementally.
• No judgement – I know this should be a given with therapists, but Erin never judged. She might encourage, but each session started from where I was that day and we went from there.
• As with all Zenergy staff, Erin was/is a professional. Even at her busiest, she was prepared and gave me her full attention.

Now, nine months out from my first visit I’m back doing the things I love. Golf, tennis, biking, hiking… and getting ready for the ski season.
