Outstanding shop, anything you might need and I hear they will soon expand. Attentive staff in the shop and the in-house coffee bar is a nice touch.
I did a day trip with Josh. Very personable young man, and put me on some nice fish.
I wanted to improve my nymphing skills and he’s the guy you want for some quality instruction.

I'm not a flyfisherwoman but I love coffee and this is Philipsburgs best coffee bar! We do an annual camping trip to Georgetown Lake and just have to drive in to Philipsburg for a latte! The guy who makes them adds an artistic touch to the foam as well!

Awesome shop! Great coffee also. Josh and crew are always helpful with recommendations, tips, tricks and well stocked with gear and flies for the area. We make sure to stop in whenever we're in town.

I recently moved to the Philipsburg area. While familiarizing myself with the town I was directed to stop by Flint Creek Outdoors to get information about hiking in the area. The store requires a mask and hand sanitizer application on entry. Josh was very friendly and had a ton of knowledge about hiking in the area. I was concerned about hiking in the area where I live because there has been recent evidence of a mountain lion. Josh set my mind at ease by giving me pointers on not only on how to hike safely, but also how to enjoy it. I ended up buying a local trail map of the Pintler mountains. I’m excited to return and tell Josh of my hiking adventures!

We had a great mocha and cappuccino at Jackalope Joes in Flint Creek Outdoors. So if you are missing the Daily Grind (went out of business), stop by and see Will or Josh!!! Great addition to Philipsburg.

I wanted to get back into fly fishing. Josh was extremely helpful and took time going over equipment options, training programs and trips they offer. I look forward to getting back into fly fishing and working with this store.
FYI: The store has expensive equipment and other items within grasp of unruly kids with their inconsiderate parents. Please keep the rodents tethered and tased. You may not care if the break something. I do. I may the buyer of that item.

Little things matter. Tara had a transaction that was going to take a few minutes. She found a pause during that transaction and asked if she could further help me or if I was ready to go. Politely excused herself from other transaction and I was on my way in no time. (Also killed it on Georgetown with their flies. Those fish are so big and feisty!)

An awesome shop and the best coffee in town. Josh and Will are both coffee experts in addition to extremely knowledgeable about how local rivers are fishing.

Flint Creek is the place to stop if your fishing in the area. They have the flies that are working and the staff is very knowledgeable.
