Winter Greenhouse

Absolutely gorgeous greenhouse - above and beyond a place to just buy plants. I saw in a Facebook group they had my favorite houseplant, so that inspired my first visit. I was blown away by how pleasant and serene the greenhouse itself is, but then discovered their garden outside. It's just like a small curated botanical garden - absolutely beautiful, professional, and welcoming. Every plant is labelled. I really look forward to returning.

First of all, this is my FAVORITE greenhouse. My husband and I have to make the 1.5+ hour trip at least once a year and I save my pennies to spend on new plants here. The plants are always so healthy and competitively priced but one of my favorite things is the way the greenhouses are organized. There is no guessing about where to look to find what I need. The signage of the greenhouses as well as on the plants themselves is fabulous! Although the mosquitoes were crazy when we were there this time, we also love to walk through all the gardens to get ideas. I came home with another great plant haul (perennials, herbs, shrubs, annuals, and house plants) this weekend and can’t wait to return!

I was in the neighborhood today, so I popped in and found a sale. Thank you Winter Greenhouse ladies for the informative conversation. I especially loved your miniatures this year. My Spring time mini additions are doing great too

Winter Nursery is fabulous! Gorgeous, healthy plants, pots, lawn ornaments, Shepherd's hook, chimes, bird baths, waterfalls and fountains. Nice workers.

The display garden is worth checking out just by itself for inspiration on what you can do in your own backyard. HUGE selection too for flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, etc. We’ve had some of our best success with plants that we’ve purchased here compared to other greenhouses in the area.

Best greenhouse I've ever been too and I keep going back. I drive 2 hours one way to get to this greenhouse. It's totally worth it.

I want to thank the WG team for emailing me with arrival tips on my Platt's Black Brass Buttons and delivering healthy well packaged plants.  I just love them!!  My husband thinks they look like worms, but I disagree! I can't wait to plant them outside to show everyone!  Here's a pic of my baby beauties right out of their shipping container (looking down on them). The second pic is them 2 days later as they acclimate. Yes, I highly recommend Winter Greenhouse and hope to shop their again soon!! :)

This photo doesn't begin to do this place justice. The garden out front is breathtaking. It's a lovely place for a little stroll. Whoever stocks the shop has THE BEST taste. If you're into garden ornaments this is the place to get them.

Great mixture of plants, trees shrubs and gifts. Very friendly staff and beautiful garden themselves. The drive is beautiful from Hayward with many restaurants to choose from. Great values too.

Winter Greenhouse is literally the best greenhouse I have ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the plants are healthy and the variety is unlike any other!!!! Take the time to soak up all the good vibes and get all your plant needs taken care of. Love love love!

This is truly a walk in the park. Beautiful landscape...beautiful healthy and some unique plants. Very knowledgeable staff. It's a must visit.

Love coming here. They have a huge selection of so many different types of plants. the fairy gardens and succulents are beautiful. Perennial are always healthy and well cared for. My plants I purchased have all grown beautifully .

Many Many options for houseplants, annuals, perennials, trees, and shrbs. A very friendly and knowledgable staff. Pet friendly as well.

Most of what they offer for sale can also be seen in the huge outside gardens - where you can roam around at your leisure, and write down the name's of the plants. They also have great displays of the plants throughout the greenhouse. Worth the trip to visit!

I'm no stranger to greenhouses, and this was the best greenhouse I've been to. Beautiful plants, helpful staff and everything was reasonably priced. Koi pond was a hit with the kids too.

Not only is this a beautiful greenhouse and show gardens, that is as much a destination in the area as any other spot... but they have WONDERFUL customer service. I needed flowers to be sent to my mother-in-law, who lives in Winter, and no area florist would deliver to them. But Ashley worked with me (on the phone) and put together a beautiful arrangement of flowers that my mother in law LOVED. Thank you Winter Greenhouse!

Lovely, lovely place. Some unique plants, as well as all the tried and true ones. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but worth it. Leave your husband’s at home 😆

The experience of my visit at Winter Greenhouse was awesome. It was truly a garden of Eden. The prices were reasonable and I saw plants and flowers that I've only read about. Its worth the trek to Winter, Wisconsin.
