The food is AWESOME! And you won’t find a better Friday fish fry in the entire county. The service is outstanding and the staff is the BEST. Friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic small town breakfast place! Super friendly service. Homemade jelly comes automatically with your toast. My friend had the bakery fresh raisin bread. Yum! Super clean restaurant and restrooms.

Cheesburger and fries were very good and hot, good coleslaw, my wife had half hot beef with mashed potatoes and bread, it was good but luke warm. We will try again. Very good service and reasonable prices

This little nugget was a fabulous dining experience! Highly recommend the malts and the skillets, as well as the kids meals and the burgers! The skillet with the polish sausage and sweet potatos was unique and DELICIOUS! Thank you for a very special, satisfying meal!

What an amazing and cute new place to eat!! The atmosphere is clean, friendly and relaxing. The kitchen staff are singing and it’s great! The service staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The prices were very good!!! So many different choices. Will recommend and stop by again.

One of our favorite things when we go camping is stopping by the Lakewood Cafe for one of our breakfasts! The food and service are great and the portions are hearty! Highly recommended!

This was the best place we've eaten at while visiting the area. I had homemade pancakes with big fresh blueberries and a scrambled egg with cheese. They even had my go-to caffeine source, a chai latte that was as good as the big chains. I just wish we discovered this place earlier on the trip so we could have had a slice of their homemade pie. The place was very cozy, clean and well kept. To top it all off, the service was very friendly. It was everything I would dream a great local restaurnt in the area would be. I can't wait to try the homemade jam I bought there when we get home.

OMG!!! The eggs Benedict were as good, if not better than what I have had at a fine dining restaurant. $9.99.....so worth it.
They were also serving caramel apple French toast!
Stuffed cabbage rolls on the dinner menu for tonight.

Excellent breakfast omelette and skillet. Service was a little slow. Looked like they were training someone new. But we were not in any hurry. I would stop again when in the area.

This was quite the slice of heaven today. I didn't have to cook for Mother's day and I got to have hot breakfast. The quiet, clean and farmhouse atmosphere, was just what I needed today to start the day. The servers were as attentive as you'd like and I really enjoyed how many attention to details were really looked at for this lovely breakfast and cafe. I do not agree with the reviews of it being overly expensive, but average cost of breakfast you'd get anywhere.

We just bought a cabin out here on the Chippewa flowage. Have never had a bad meal at the Lakewood cafe. The people there are incredibly friendly. Prompt service, clean and homey atmosphere, amazing food and the best Frappe's you'll ever have....puts Starbucks to shame. Highly recommended.

The Lakewood is a historical restaurant with food that is second to none. You get great helpings and it's always delicious. They now have wine and mixed drinks for your dining pleasure. Desserts are world class.

Great food, good price. Small and cozy. The cheese cake is amazing!
