Lake Forest Resort

We had a great time celebrating my birthday and Christmas week with the family. They have movies and games you can check out and a game room to hang out in.

Another excellent vacation at Lake Forest Resort, even the weather was was great. Sue and staff so helpful and Friendly. We love their stock of things to borrow.. didn’t have to lug up tennis rackets, bikes , minnow bucket and beach toys. My granddaughters and daughter love coming up and had such a great time.....I did also...daughter, Erin grill every night :). Family flew in from Alaska and loved everything about our stay. All 3 generations plan on coming again next year!!

This is like home away from home. Scenic, just absolutely beautiful. Beds are comfy. Nearby restaurant, stores. We just love it there.

Have been vacationing in Eagle River at Lake Forest Resort for more than 25 years, and it is by far my favorite get away. Various family members attend yearly, so it's always a nice mix of company, the golf course, club house, pool, game room, canoes, tennis courts, fishing, campfires and more provide many things to do right at the resort. The staff is always warm, welcoming and ready to help and the accommodations are always impeccably clean, updated and comfortable. In addition, the surrounding shops and adventures make the time go all too quickly! Love this place!!

Great Retreat. We spent 11 nights at the Lake Forest Resort and loved every moment of it. This is a great place to disconnect, relax, and revive. The condos are comfortable and well appointed. The office and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Don't miss the Monday morning coffee - Mary bakes the treats and they are tasty!

Was kind of a late decision to take a family trip to get away since our original plans in spring fell through to Washington DC. I came across Lake Forest while searching and decided this was the place to stay. If you arrive after hours, don't worry they have everything ready for you which is super convenient. The full kitchen and two baths are really nice to have. Plenty of activites to keep busy, basketball, tennis courts, pickle ball, playground for the kids, beach, kayak and paddle board rentals which are very affordable. Very scenic and quiet environment. We had no issues at all when we were there. Definitely thinking about coming back for a return trip next year anyway. The only suggestion I have is to put some lights on the end of the docks for those coming in when it's dark, very tricky.

We love this place. Very well managed and cared for. The staff is the best! We always have a beautiful and peaceful week. The view of the lake is lovely from any of the units. The golf course and pool/sauna/whirlpool are great options. We usually, fish, bike the area, golf, shop, eat out, hike.

Lake Forest Resort is exactly what you would expect for its price. The lodge is older, however, they do an excellent job maintaining it and keeping it up to date. The condo itself is very spacious for only two bedrooms. We had 8 people stay and were very comfortable as well as still had our own space. The staff was very nice and understanding. I have already reserved two rooms for next year and will plan on going back at least once a year! Thank you Lake Forest!

My family and I had a great time at Lake Forest Resort. Deer, fox and chipmunks came right up to our condo. My son and I really enjoyed fishing off the peninsula where there is a group fire pit. Every condo comes with a charcoal grill! There is lots to do here even on rainy days. It's a great place to slow down and enjoy nature and still have all the modern convenience.

A perfect Northwoods get-away! As a family, we have been coming here for 25 years, three generations. Collectively, we own 3 units for the same week(s). Once again this year, we had a fantastic experience. In addition to hiking, campfires, and golfing, we also really enjoy biking on the local roads, which have new asphalt for many miles, and biking on the Anvil trails in the National Forest, which is only 7 miles east on Hwy 70. The Lake Forest Resort property is gorgeous, the units are very well maintained, the staff is exceptional. Being close to everything that Eagle River has to offer is a very nice feature too. This year, we rented a 24' pontoon boat from Boat Sports Marina and it worked out great - very close and convenient. We can't wait until next year!!!

We have been vacationing at Lake Forest for 34 years! This year was another perfect week! The weather was beautiful! The units are well maintained & updated! Our kids & grandkids look forward to this vacation as much as we do. It is a favorite family tradition!

We visited Lake Forest Resort over spring break, even though it was still winter in the northwoods of Wisconsin! We enjoyed every minute of our time there. The condos are very spacious and clean and we loved the view from the living room and bedroom. The staff is very helpful and did their best to help us find things to do, even though most of the city was closed for season. We definitely plan to return someday, maybe in spring or summer. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Loved it! Clean but you must be able to do stairs(18) to get do to living room/ kitchen/bathroom OR use back ramp & sleep on pull out couch. Bathroom & 2 nice bedrooms on first level convenient for luggage. Patio entrance downstairs convenient for rolling coolers& kitchen supplies. Staff friendly, deer love to eat bread in early morning or evenings. Very relaxing. Town within 5 miles for restaurants, groceries. Downstairs fireplace & living room comfortable for two extra guests to visit.

Our family has been coming up for 34 years. We have many happy memories, up here together, for all the seasons. Everyone in our family feels, the resort is our vacation home. Now that our children are older, my husband and I come up on our own, for time alone. We also bring friends up. We have come up for concerts, snow mobile races and to watch the beauty of all seasons. We find things to do, even on rainy or snowy days. We love grilling out and going out. The people who work at the resort and live around the area, have become our friends. We just love it up here!

The best place to stay while in the Wisconsin north woods. Condos are spacious and well kept. Full kitchen stocked with everything you need. Grounds are beautiful with beautiful lake views. Great place for families. We have been coming here since 1986. Highly recommend.

Grew up coming to this resort and now my parents still have their unit, plus my brother and I now have our own units as well. Great place for a family vacation with plenty of options on-site and Eagle River also offers plenty of options nearby. Looking forward to making memories with my family for years to come, just as I did when I was growing up!

This was our first time at Forest Lake Resort and it was a very enjoyable experience. I was still able to cross country skii on the lake and the the clubhouse was a great place to spend time. We had two different sets of guests and we had a great time. Hope to be back again in the near future.

I have been to Lake Forest Resort's golf course more times than I can count and it has always been an extremely enjoyable experience. Very well maintained and the scenery can't be beat! I love the wildlife and the gorgeous trees surrounding, and the trails through the woods are an experience all their own. Can't recommend it enough!

I've stayed at Lake Forest many times. Even though this is a timeshare, you can call the office to check if anyone is renting out their week which often happens. The resort is located ON the water and has a huge amount of land with water frontage. More dock than most places including a set of docks in a sheltered bay. Docks for large boats and small boats and they have their own launch ramp.

If you like boating (or fishing) this is the place. This chain of lakes is the "Largest Inland Freshwater Chain of Lakes in the WORLD" Instead of just traveling round and round and round one lake as most are---this will be a 4 or 5 hour one way adventure through 26 large and medium size lakes with constantly changing scenery. There are Turtles and Bald Eagles here. This is where the big Musky tournaments are held as well.

Boating from Sports Bar to sports bar or Supper clubs, restaurants, gas stations, marinas on every 3rd lake or so makes this chain of lakes the ULTIMATE boaters paradise.

Lake Forest resort itself is my favorite place to stay. Two comfortable bedrooms, and a sofa-bed makes sleeping 6 easy. Full kitchen and in the clubhouse they have a monster size heated pool and hot tub as well as a sauna. You will love it here

Love going to this resort. It has all the amenities for a great family vacation - lakeside condos with boat slips, a golf course, and a swimming pool. It isn’t the Ritz, so if you’re looking for luxury, this may not be the place. But, it’s a great place to get away up north and fish, boat, golf, and have a relaxing getaway.
