Chan's Fine Oriental Dining

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant around 5:30 on a Friday for dinner before going to the Stadium theater for a show at 8 and we were able to get a table right away which we weren't expecting that we were figuring it was going to be busier but as we were leaving around 6:30 it was starting to fill up, We hadn't been to this restaurant in a long time cause we don't live locally anymore but we were both looking forward to going there and we weren't disappointed the food and service was really good we both decided on the same dish the #17 from the combo section of the menu which was Lo mein, 2 large chicken wings and boneless ribs and it was really delicious and the portions was plenty to the point were we took the rest to go. Also to mention they have a decent size parking lot in the back with a rear entrance to the dining room so I hope this review helps you to decide to give it a try or make a return cause for me this place is somewhat a nostalgic place cause I have been to this place when I was a kid and now I'm in my early 50's so I'll be looking forward to my next visit.

What a great place to see local bands. We just enjoyed a doors tribute band, they had an older singer and younger singer and it was well done. I have to say I enjoyed the younger version because his vocals were deeper and closer to Jim's vocals, but both did an outstanding job. I hope more local bands play there to keep the venue going.

Chan's is in downtown Woonsocket, and a longtime fixture at that, easy to get to and find too. Plenty of free parking in their lot across the street. Food is the typical Chinese fare, good but nothing to write home about. Drinks are the proper libations served up be proper mixologists and good. Prices are very reasonable and comparable to other Chinese restaurants. Also worth noting, that the menu includes some American fare, like chicken tenders, fries and fish & chips, as well as Tiramisu, so there should be something for everyone in your party.
In short, give Chan's a shot, odds are you'll like it.

First time trying Chan's after 3 years of living in Millville. So happy to finally find a good Chinese restaurant in the area.

Great food at an affordable price. Caught myself making favorable auditory sounds as I consumed the goodness.

Wicked good crab rangoon- it seems like they make their own- light, crispy, delicate. The dipping sauce is a normal color, not that fake fluorescent red stuff. This alone makes it worth the trip.

Went to a jazz show here. Experience was great. You check in near front door and are seated by the host(owner?). Waitress available for your table for drinks and food. General Tso meal with pork fried rice and crab rangoons was solid. Actual show was phenomenal. Lasted about 2.5hr. Free parking lot right across the street wasn’t huge but there seemed to be street parking available as well.

By now everyone in the area has been to Chans at least once in their life, but if you haven't been in a while I suggest you give it another chance. The food was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I'd suggest the szechuan green beans and the walnut shrimp appetizer. You're going to finish your plate I guarantee it. Also Chans doesn't have just average musicians, he finds exceptional talent only you won't be disappointed in whatever show you decide to see.

BEST ribs on bone I EVER had and crab rangoons BEST I EVER HAD!!! The ribs have SO much meat and they actually have a lot of fat soooo delicious! The rangoons are actually filled and not skimpy on the cream cheese and the perfect shape with homemade duck sauce !!!!! I’m going back today!!🤤

Their food was delicious and the service was good! The quality of the food has improved since our last visit. This opinion was the consensus of all six people at our table. Also go for the music, world class performers in a dinner theater setting.

Went for NEW YR'S,HAD A GOOD TIME.

This place has a dynamite blues live band venue every weekend. We just went to see Papa Chubby while dining on the delicious Chinese cuisine. Looking forward to going back.! Connection it's very reasonable and plenty of free parking.
