Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

Today, I spent some time with my Aunt, who I insisted she pick the place we go out to eat, because she let me pick the place 2 times before today. She chose Chelo's. We both ordered fish and chips, and neither one of us was disappointed. The fish was cooked to perfection, golden brown crust that was edible the whole way through, not greasy at all, and seriously flaky and moist. She commented to me the fish was much better than the fish and chips place her mom used to frequent. I had to agree with her. The only 2 employees that were working the tables

This was the first time we have been to this one. We went with eight in our party. Three had never been! Our table was ready when we got there for six. The service was fantastic! Nobody had any complaints about their food. This work great we where going to a show after. Plenty of time to finish an make our show. We definitely will be going back again. Everyone one we dealt with was great 👍 a big thumbs up!

Ordered takeout/delivery via 3rd party app and it held up pretty good! Bacon burger was cooked perfectly to my liking. Will definitely order again

We order DoorDash from here often. The food is ALWAYS good! It’s so nice to have a go-to place like that where you can get decent comfort food! AND THEIR FRICKIN DESSERTS. Highly recommend, thanks Chefs! 😋

The staff and everything was great! The food and how they can accommodate almost any request is everything. A place that is truly flexible is amazing my mom and I asked to split a dish and they did it!! With beauty! Presentation was amazing!!!

Greeted by a friendly hostess, offered options of seating, I preferred the bar, The bartender was friendly and intelligent, she knew the menu and was on point with conversation etc, couldnt expect anything better, food was good and savoury. Fantastic drink selection, basically whatever you wanted she could make. 5 stars for a fun night out.reseaonable prices and clean restrooms well stocked and poop worthy of a second visit.

Monday Night Celebration Dinner for the little one getting a medal in gymnastics!! We had Ninja as our server. She was absolutely amazing!!!! Her service was impeccable!!! We will be back again and will most definitely be requesting Ninja to wait on us!!!

I called in my lunch order and felt bad because the ladies had to ask me to keep repeating myself and I kept apologizing because I’m losing my voice and couldn’t speak up. I went to go pick up my order with a mask of course and when I checked my order I found this inside. I appreciate you guys for the food, but more importantly your appreciation for your customers. Thank you so much, this made my day. It’s the little things ❤

Living in woonsocket this is one of our go to locations. I'm in love with the pulled chicken power salad. Mario loves the mets burger with curly fried. Chowder is phenomenal and appetizers are all good!

Had a fabulous, fresh Cobb Salad! Waitress was friendly, clean and attentive! I will return to Chelos Woonsocket again! A nice experience, Thank you!

I have celiac disease and can't have gluten. They have gluten-free buns and the waitress was very educated on diet restrictions.

We went on Easter Sunday and even though it was very busy, we had great service, the food was very good as well. We saw employees helping each other out and even as a party of 9, they managed to get us all served at the same time. The appetizers were delicious, too!

As always the food was great the clam cakes and the chowder first course I had I could just keep eating forever the Chowda was red hot as well as the Clam Cakes red hot Crunchy and delicious. I ordered way too much food I had the buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese which came with a Caesar salad which was perfect. The best part of the meal was the server a gentleman who did a fantastic job explaining the menu all the items although we've been there a million times and didn't really need that but it went out of his way to get us hot rolls and butter and every time he brought everything he explained what it was and waited on us hand and foot, never used a pencil or paper to take our order he's a keeper for sure I hope they appreciate all the business he must bring them.

Had a last-minute family get-together and wasn't able to reserve a table for 8 people. As overwhelming as that can be, the staff worked with us; the manager tried hard to get us a table within 20 minutes on a busy day. Food was tasty and service was also good. Kudos 👌

We stopped by for dinner and drinks at the bar because the Celtics playoff game was on. Bar was packed so we sat and waited. The manager saw us and proactively asked if we were waiting for takeout. We said we were hoping for a seat at the bar(three of us). She put our names in( had no idea you could do thar at the bar) and seated us quickly. Food was great, bartenders were attentive and funny. Celts won !! Will definitely be back.

Thee chowder and clam cakes were excellent, great flavor! Great service!
