Cabin Creekwood

Best bang for the buck cabin!! Close to wintergreen (15 mins to top). Right beside a creek, which being a pet friendly cabin was a pleasant surprise to let the doggies play. Had to call for assistance accessing cabin and they answered right away with great service. Will be back next time we are in the area

We had a wonderful time there. The cabin is cozy and well equipped with everything you need. The little creek behind the cabin invited us to linger around the campfire in the evening. Communication with the owne was also flawless. We would stay there again and highly recommend this place.

Great cabin getaway! Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails. Awesome stream behind the cabin for some great background noise. Gas fireplace and A/C units. Clawfoot bathtub so showers weren't the greatest. Overall, it's a nice place.

Great 4 season get-away just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Shenandoah National Park and Wintergreen Ski resort provide endless recreational opportunities. The cabins are peaceful and perfect for a relaxing vacation. Clean and ready when you walk in the door. The cabins are fully updated. We plan to return again and again.

We have stayed in more than one cabin over the years and we absolutely love Cabin Creekwood. The cabins are great, the location is perfectly serene. If you're looking to escape from everything, this is where you need to stay! They will treat you right!

The cabins are serene and peaceful! Fully stocked kitchen and the propane grill make it easy to prepare meals. The fireplace and a fire pit outside with an ample supply of firewood makes for an amazing experience inside and out. Bring your own marshmallows!

We LOVED it here it was relaxing, quiet, beautiful, idyllic and peaceful. It was very clean and organized, we found the little diagrams very useful. We also loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed utilizing it! The only possible criticism I could have is that the blankets didn't seem to have been cleaned. There was a textured stain on one of them. We love cabin Creekwood and we plan to come back this summer ❤

Truly made all the difference for our anniversary celebration trip. We stayed in Cabin Barnwood with our dog and visited some near by sites including driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. We got lucky, no one else was around, but even if people were.. it still would have been a lovely stay.

The cabin was adorably decorated, clean and it is obvious the hosts are extremely thoughtful! They supply everything you need short of food, your own clothes and extra hygiene products of course. (If you need food or essentials, Stuart's Draft is a good sized town just 20 minutes away.) They give you firewood, board games, movies and even a little bin with goodies for your dog! Our dog sure did enjoy a few of those milk bones! The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots/pans, utensils and appliances necessary for food preparation. They have extra blankets and towels neatly stowed in the bedroom. The hard floors decorated with a rug was an appreciated cozy touch. I loved that they made up a local info binder for your stay and also provided a guest memories book. Those kinds of personal touches make all the difference to me!
We enjoyed having one of the living room windows open often and listening to the creek while comfortably sat inside, bug free.. but we also enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and gazing at the creek and forest too. It was so nice to wake up and walk down to the creek for a morning earthing sesh both days we were there. It's quiet and all you hear is nature, aside from the occasional car traveling by on the road out front. The cabin is clean, the grounds are well maintained and it was overall a wonderful stay. We didn't want to leave! The peace felt here is incredible. If we ever visit the area again, we will be sure to stay here and maybe check out another of the cabins! 😊

Beautiful place of serenity! Well stocked for guests. Quick response to guest questions and needs. Only thing I'd suggest is to make the gas fireplace easier to use. Otherwise, loved it and will be back often.

I had an incredible time at creekwood, staying in logwood cabin! Hands down the best option for staying close to the northern section of the blue ridge parkway. Beautiful property with each access to peaceful creek. All of the cabins were full but I felt like i had great solitude on the back porch, fire pit, and creek. Very friendly and responsive hosts worked with me to reschedule after I couldn’t make my original
Date.

My family and I stayed here this past weekend with my daughters meeting us there. Unfortunately, they had car trouble and we had to go get them on the interstate. As a result, we didn't check into the motel until 1AM. We called Cabin Creekwood and told them about the situation. The manager, Peter said the very late check-in would not be a problem. The surprise was that Peter was up, smiling and waiting for us... at 1AM. The topper was that, when we checked out at 0800 to go horseback riding, Peter was there again, smiling and cheerful. Add to that, the fact that the cabin was also great. It had upgraded features and fixtures, but felt like a homey backwoods cabin. We will absolutely stay there again, hopefully, for more than one day next time! I want to have more time to enjoy the wonderful views and great-looking swimming pool. Thanks Peter for being the high point in some otherwise unpleasant circumstance.

LOVED staying here! We were a group of 3 that were part of a bigger birthday party staying at another cabin rental a few miles away. I was so much more impressed with Cabin Creekwood!! Cabin Mountain View was spacious, sparkling clean, and well decorated. The heat worked very well and the Wifi never disappointed. There were really great small touches that stood out, too: a dog welcome box for those who bring pets, a few snacks for getting settled in, and well-placed extras like dish soap, sponges, salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc. Unlike other cabins in which we've stayed, the pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc. all matched and were in great condition and were well-stocked. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

My husband and I enjoyed our getaway at Cabin Creekwood very much! When we pulled up Julia was sitting on the front porch waiting for us and it felt like we had just pulled up to a friend's house. We found our way to our cabin (Barnwood) and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. It was super clean, very cute and had a quiet setting. We're city dwellers so we definitely enjoyed the peace and quiet! All we could hear all weekend were the birds and the creek! The kitchen had everything we needed and I loved the bench out back by the creek. We made good use of the fire ring and Adirondack chairs as well. The cabins are close to many hiking trails (we hiked Crabtree Falls) and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We'll definitely be back to Cabin Creekwood in the future!

They thought of everything. The only thing we needed to bring was ourselves and food. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how much this place makes you feel like its home. We stayed in the Foxwood cabin and it was very spacious, clean, comfy, and peaceful. Julia, who I believe was part of the management at Cabin Creekwood was so kind and gave us wonderful tips about the area. I'm not even an outdoorsy person and tend to prefer hotels but for a second I felt like I lived here.

We came here after a search for cabins to rent and have visited 5 times since. Julia is always sweet and helpful if you need ideas on things to do or places to go. We've stayed here for my, my husband's and my youngest daughter's birthdays during all different weather and had great times each and every time. We go hiking, to Hulls drivein theater, visit the many breweries and wineries in the area and just stay at the cabin and relax with games and movies. Centrally located to lots of activities and also remote enough for relaxation.

We were a party of 6 women on a girls vacation. None of us could have asked for a nicer stay. We all felt so at home from the nicely stocked kitchen to the laundry area to the comfortable beds. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a home away from home.

Stayed here for 2 nights - wife and I and 4 kids. We stayed in a clean, well maintained cabin and took day trips to Sherando Lake, Humpback, Massanutten, trails, etc. Ton to do within 20-60 minutes away. Sherando is only 2 min down the road. It's great - even on a rainy, cold day. We hope to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool.

Three of us stayed in the foxwood cabin (3br) and had a pleasant experience in November. Everything was clean, the provided essentials were plentiful, and the beds were mostly comfortable. We were not bothered by the main road, which was a concern. The cabin is built more like a house than a log cabin. The wifi signal is spotty, and slow, but enough for email and social media. I would recommend this place for fall vacations. Firewood is available for a small fee.

Our family spent a wonderful weekend at Cabin Creekwood. Quiet, clean accommodations. Great customer service. Centrally located near numerous local attractions - Sherando Lake, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous wineries. It was a joyful and relaxing time with friends and family.

We stayed at Barnwood Cabin. It's a one bedroom, with a wood stove inside, fire pit and charcoal grill outside. It is exactly what you think of and want when you are trying to get away to a cozy mountain cabin. Comfortable, adorable and well equipped with everything you need. The location is tucked away in a beautiful location, but not so remote to feel inaccessible. No cell service or internet either, which was great for a weekend get away. Dog friendly as well. Close to local vineyards, breweries and lots of outdoorsy stuff. Overall a great experience! We can't wait to come back!
