Arrive about 20 mins before the hunger hits because this place will have a wait time for seating... and it's absolutely worth it. Attentive service and the food came out fast. Huge portions with lots of flavor!

Love having breakfast there. Grits are awesome coming from this yankee girl. Big shout out to all. Server was so nice.

I had a taste for a big fluffy Biscuit! OMG they have the best, they don't serve those half inch high dry biscuits. They are big , melt in your mouth deliciousness! And the cheese grits, don't leave without trying them. I am picky about my bacon, the bacon was thick and tasty. All I can say is YUMMY.
Best Breakfast place I have eaten in. I forgot to take a picture of our food. It look so good we just dove in. Our waiter was very attentive, patient and helpful, thanks Dan. We will be back.

We love coming here. There's pretty much always a wait but it's worth it. The grits are fantastic, so are the biscuits. Love the service as well.

So they’ve done it again. The Hot Dirty Bird is probably the best way I’ve ever enjoyed chicken and waffles. House made gravy with a nice mild buffalo sauce. The runny egg yolk melds perfectly with all three to form the ultimate savory topping for a waffle. Visually scary, but amazing to the palette. The chorizo in the Three Amigos was perfectly seasoned and not very oily while still avoiding being dry. One should note they are served in a traditional soft corn tortilla so make sure that’s something you enjoy. Sauces were served on the side by default so you can experiment with the flavors how you like. Honestly underrated- the Grilled Mac n’ Cheese. Like nothing else I’ve ever having claimed to be mac n cheese. A must try. The “moon dusted” potatoes were fine. A house made seasoning blend on home fries. They were crispy enough but I’m biased against home fries so I will leave that up to the higher powers to say if they’re good or not. Also Hailey was an amazing waitress who was always on the ball practically always one step ahead of us.

The server we had was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding! The biscuits taste like they were kissed by some sugar and salt right after baking which is heavenly. Maybe that is why they are named "The Flying Biscuit." Because they are carried by angels. I don't want to recommend them because I don't want to have to fight a crowd in the future, but I must because they are worth it.

So very happy to find this place! Every single thing was delicious! The grits were so creamy, biscuits so fluffy, and yummy.

Huge servings of delicious food! Everything you could want for breakfast! We ordered a variety and made a little buffet on our table. Eggs, grits, biscuit, potatoes, sausage, omelette, waffle with peach compote and oatmeal pancake! Everybody ate as much as they wanted and there was still food left over!

Wonderful breakfast experience! Went solo and sat at the bar, received amazing service and enjoyed conversation with another patron. But then, the stuffed French toast arrived and my goodness, it was out of this world. Will certainly be returning when we visit gainesville. Def recommend!!

I placed a really large order for a corporate event with a very short timeline this weekend. Not only did they accommodate our order, they completed it ahead of schedule and helped me load the order into my vehicle. The service was excellent and everyone raved about the food. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be ordering from them again the the future. Thank you, Flying Biscuit and Staff!!

This is one of the best american breakfasts i’ve had. There is a big wait so be sure to call ahead on weekends.

The moon dusted potatoes are very salty so beware of that. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and absolutely delicious, some of the best i’ve had at a breakfast restaurant.

You have your choice of eggs and they cook them perfectly to your order. The bacon and the sausage were also cooked well. All the food was amazing and I am dying to come back.

The wait staff was also super attentive and helpful in the ordering process. Definitely worth the money over other breakfast places!

We stopped in for breakfast while I was visiting my 92 year old mother.  It was very busy mid day, mid week, however we got seated outdoors very quickly.

We ordered the Egg Stravaganza and a ham and cheese Omelet.  Both meals were delicious and cooked to perfection.

The Grits was amazing with a great flavor.  The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, and it was soooo good. And I'm picky about my biscuits and gravy lol. Also, our waitress was super attentive, and it was really really busy, so that was impressive! Also the grits are the best I've ever had 👌 love this place!

My family always stops at the Flying Biscuit whenever we are in Gainesville. The food is amazing! I have never had better grits! 💙 I am gluten free, and they have a lot of options. My gluten eating kids and husband absolutely love the biscuits!

What an exciting find, food was delicious and staff exceptional. Ordered Shrimp and grits, omelette special of the day and French toast with fresh strawberries and raspberry dressing. I recommend visiting this restaurant if your ever in the Gainesville area for breakfast or lunch.

Happy birthday brunch at the flying biscuit this morning for my granddaughter's 23rd birthday. It was fabulous everybody loved each of their orders. I had the fried green tomato and bacon

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We called it in. Chris was more than helpful, offered me water and brought out a giant cup. I got the French Toast, it tasted so rich that I did not need to use syrp. And it was so thick and packed full with flavor that I was full. My wife got the Clifton omelette which was very good along with the creamy-dreamy grits. We also got the Very Berry Chicken salad which we ate for dinner. It was packed full of chicken and strawberries, that it covered the entire top of the salad.

I travel for biscuits and the biscuit was awesome. Each meal is accompanied with one. The unexpected highlight was the amazing shrimp and crab omelette(I substituted egg whites for an additional $0.75 and fruit instead of grits for no charge). The wait was 45 minutes for large parties(Sunday 10 am). Fortunately I was able to snag a seat at the bar which is first come first serve. Nice restrooms in the back with 2 stalls.

The waitperson we had was awesome. He made suggestions for us since he saw the bracelets from the hospital on my husband's wrist. Neither of us had much of an appetite. Basically, we had more fluid than food, though your grits were to die for along with your famous biscuits!
