The Wine Room on Park Avenue

It's been years since I've been here but won't let that happen again. Such a wonderful place. Everyone on staff was incredible and paired great with the wines. So did the incredible food of course. Thank you again so much for a wonderful time with my mom. Will be back very soon.

The servers are really busy. The wine tasting is awesome. I read the reviews for input on how it goes and it was so worth it. The food is good. I would suggest the flat bread they have. Getting a server to take my order was difficult but it was busy. The wine tasting is cool and different. I would go back. My date and I put $80 on the card and didn’t use it all for the wine tasting. I had the salmon in the image it was ok. The flat bread is better.

I truly can not recommend this place enough especially on Wednesdays. Now I will be honest and say it is extremely packed on Wednesdays but that’s because they have the best deal. LADIES NIGHT … woot woot.. put your money on a wine card and they will match it 100% no matter the amount , I mean does it get any better than this? This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a night out with your friends or even family , no matter the day. This establishment offers Indoor/ Outdoor seating is, small plates, happy hour , wheel chair access and free street parking. Drinks are machine dispensable with the use of a card and you have the option too choose from hundreds of varieties … I mean truly it feels endless. If you’re looking too purchase just a bottle and have amongst your self and a guest that is available as well. I personally recommend Sangue Di Guida if you love sweet reds, it is one of the best wines sweet reds I have ever tasted! Grab a bottle or two and head down to the vault where seating is limited but it’s the perfect photo op spot! The service is always great as the staff is informative and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is typically calm, cool and collective on any day besides Wednesday. I’d recommend it as a perfect date night, a place for groups or even celebrating a special occasion! Try it out you won’t be disappointed :-)

I love the Wine Room so much! It is a wonderful place to come and hang out, try some new wines and get some bites to eat. Upon arrival you can get a card that you can reload with money whenever you would like. You take that card and can use it throughout the store to sample or get full glasses of various wines.

I think it is such a great way to give new wines a try and they even have the option to purchase pretty much every wine they have available to sample. As well, they have lots of other wines for sale. Don't miss heading downstairs as well as there is additional wines to sample and seating. You can see the prices for various pours and each wine also has a description along with it. Wines are organized by category and you can take your time exploring, or try as you go.

You also have the option to order food to enjoy alongside your wine. They have lots of charcuterie options, small plates and flatbreads. You can complete your wine tasting experience with cheeses in their peak or some Mac & Cheese.

I love the atmosphere and the employees have always been super friendly! A great place to dress up or down and enjoy some great wines and food. Highly recommend checking it out!

My waiter at the nearby Italian restaurant described this place as an excellent spot to try wine and he wasn’t wrong. With an atmosphere mimicking a traditional wine cellar, the variety there is excellent. Just load up your chip card and the machines dispense measured amounts of wine of your choosing. The staff is very helpful and gave my friend and me an initial tour of the wines and a suggestion to start with. A decent tasting will run you about 30-50 dollars. The place was appreciably crowded on a Saturday night and since the spaces there are narrow, it’s not a great place to hang around talking to other people. However, there is certainly enough room to maneuver around. If you purchase a wine from the storefront, do be advised that there is a 10 dollar corkage fee if you wish to then drink it in the tasting area. Instead the staff directs you to purchase the wines from the bar: a technicality but a rather annoying one for the customer.

I ended up taking three bottles home for further consideration: a chocolate wine, a Tuscan, and a red from Bordeaux. Although very different wines, all were excellent. Ultimately the sweet, chocolate, raisin and berries from the Chocolate Shop beat out the bold, earthy dryness of the Tuscan. I would recommend all three of these wines and The Wine Room. Definitely a gem for wine lovers or for a fun night doing something different with a hot date.

Great experiences every time, whether you are sitting down for dinner or stopping by after 6pm on Wednesdays to get your $$ doubled $$$$, this place is always a vibe. Lots of standing room to encourage mingling. The DIY glass-pour approach is so unique and fun. They also have member-only lockers in the basement for the more dedicated vino aficionados.

This place is fabulous! Over 150 wines on "tap", Lady's Nite Weds you get double on your wine card !! The girl Jen at the front desk is so lively and fun, she dresses up for all the holidays and always has a smile to greet you... Julie and Andrea are excellent waitresses... the food is delicious... love the meatballs and short rib tacos... extensive cheese selection too! Plus they are very accommodating to our dogs when we sit outside!

The experience at the Wine Room in Winter Park was outstanding, even amidst the busy evening and our large party. 🍽 The smoked salmon and carpaccio were nothing short of delicious, and the server's dedication to attending to us and other tables in her section was truly commendable.

Young crowd, but not rowdy. Huge variety of wine and no need to wait long for a drink. Very clever and inventive. Would definitely visit if you fancy a few drinks. Great date spot. Only downside is the number of toilets available. Other than that, very well thought out bar.

Haven't yet had food here so can't rate that. Just a glass of wine with my buddy. The bar tender picked out a perfect match for us. There were lots of nice looking, well to do people around, which always entrances the atmosphere. The only negative was the bathrooms, they looked like a bathroom you would find at a downtown pub, how do people get the entire floor wet. Probably more an issue with the clientele than the venue. But that didn't overshadow the rest of the experience and still had a nice time.

Got to hang with my best friend, in from out of town. Couple glasses of wine... The server was nice... All good by me.

Perfect for a small celebration or date night. You can find all kinds of wine on machines and have different size. Down stairs the have a cute vault which is perfect for small intimate gatherings. In the vault you should order food which they have appealing menu. Backed brie was the best! We just celebrated my girlfriend engagement there as a girls night out. Had so much fun and totally recommend it!

The food was amazing and the pour your own wine completely made the experience. I highly recommend checking out the vault room downstairs

The charcuterie board was a artful arrangement of assorted fine meats, cheeses, nuts, and accompaniments, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures for a delightful culinary experience.

I went for the first time for my birthday, and I brought my Mom for a visit. Very nice place, the service is excellent and the wines are great. My Mother enjoyed the charcuterie board. Will definitely return..❤❤😁😁

Been here multiple times and gotta say I love the ambiance, the wine, the food, and the service. It's a complete package of decadence and you will not be disappointed. Feel like having a fancy expensive wine? They've got you covered. Don't feel like splurging? Don't worry, there's plenty of cheaper wines available for you too! Feeling hungry? They've got cheese trays, charcuteries, and flat breads to keep you satisfied.

Overall, can't say anything bad about this venue. It can get pretty crowded at times and hard to find a table so I just wish they'd limit the entry. I'd rather wait and enjoy my wine than feel like I'm in a sardine can. Just my opinion though! I'd still recommend it and make sure to grab yourself a groupon in advance if it's your first time. Check this place out!

This place could become a serious addiction. It's probably a good thing that I don't live closer!
My Hubby and I stumbled across The Wine Room when we were strolling Park Ave. What a fabulous local gem. There were so many great wines to try. I look forward to taking some friends from out of town.

We had a wonderful experience with our server Jor! She was very attentive and polite. I was a little disappointed that the kitchen felt it acceptable to send out purchasers board with everything falling off the board, sauces dripping off the side. Jor saw it and immediately took it back to get fixed for us. As someone in the service industry I really appreciate this. If you go to wine room, ask for Jor!

Excellent atmosphere. People are very friendly. I had a good time last weekend like every time I have been there. It's a wonderful place to share with friends. The wine are amazing and you have the chance to try anything you want. From Cabernet Sauvignon, champagne, Rose or Merlot and more.

One of my closest friends and I had a mini engagement celebration at the wine room in late September, just the two of us. Our server, Duane, made the experience unforgettable. We had planned to stop at the wine room and then explore more of winter park afterwards. We ended up staying at the wine room the entire time, all thanks to Duane!
He gave us the best recommendations for both food and wine, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and his recommendations were all 10/10! We chose whatever he recommended and we loved everything we had! The food and wine was amazing, but we stayed for the amazing service. Duane not only recommended the absolute best wines and dishes, but he was also incredibly friendly and made our experience better than we could’ve imagined!

Great place for date night. Tons of selections for wine and charcuterie board options. Definitely recommend. On Wednesdays after 6:30pm they match 100% of the money you put on your wine card. You use your wine card to sample any wine(s) you want or have the option for a full pour.
