Paul's Automotive and 4X4

I initially came to Paul's for an alignment, a couple years ago. Jeff did such a stellar job with my truck that I've had him do multiple other alignments on my vehicles and even sent friends and family his way for such thorough work.
Recently I had the rear end of my truck slide out, which resulted in a pretty decent crash. I've had to resort to his expertise in trying to figure out the full extent of the damage. Jeff has gone way beyond his duties in helping me out and I couldn't be more appreciative for how he treats his customers and how well he completes the job. I've also sent multiple simple u joint jobs his way, where despite being busy, he completes the job same day.
Do yourself a favor and send your vehicles his way, you'll thank yourself later for having such a skilled technician working on your vehicle.

Expressing my gratitude to Jeff and the crew is so impossible, I’m not going to attempt it. But, I don’t mind expressing my unbelievable dedication to you.

For many years, I was stuck with garage monkeys attempting to take advantage of a skirt by finagling with prices, shipping needed work, and adding in extra details that didn’t need attention, just to add it all together and mysteriously add up to what they spent at Lake Powell last weekend. Not Paul’s garage. They’re fair to EVERYONE!

Even more, they’re quick in conveying necessary information, getting you in and out, and most of all—NOT wasting time playing games to gauge how much their customer is aware. And they spill the cost facts, parts availability, and time of project without squirreling around. Most of all, when they speak to you, it’s quite possible you’ll need to check over your shoulder just to make sure you aren’t the last person on the planet—because that’s how they treat you.

Needless to say, although I’ve certainly tried, I will not be going anywhere else for work on my car—-and at this juncture of time, they’re 45 miles away. I’m serious!

Just went in for an emissions test, but the service was great! Jeff was friendly, and was able to get me in and out pretty quick. It sounds like for regular mechanical work, they are booked out for months, so no review there for me, but for emissions it was great!

I haven't used them for any service, but just wanted to leave a review of my experience with them. I was going to fly out to UT from CO to purchase a used LX470 from a local dealer and called Paul's to see if they could do a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. I called on Thursday and spoke with Jeff and he was SUPER nice and even though they were booked out for a few weeks, he was going to sneak me in on Monday given the fact it was time sensitive and I was flying out. I ended up getting pictures of the vehicle from the dealer and it was too rusted for my liking so I had to cancel the inspection... but can't say enough about the customer service from Jeff just from a few phone calls. He even took a little time to give me advice on selecting vehicles and things to look out for in regards to rust. Thank you, Jeff! If I find another vehicle in Salt Lake City or ever need any service while passing through, I'm coming to you guys! Brandon

Had a great experience with Jeff. I had some repairs that needed to be done after having dropped it off with the dealership. Jeff was very helpful and gave me honest feedback when talking about the parts I needed. He even told me to go with the dealership for the prices they quoted me. I will be using them when I have another need!

I found these guys a couple of years ago by asking for the name of a reputable mechanic at a local parts store. The guy was right, they are great! Nobody loves paying for truck repairs, but I have driven away with a smile , every time I have used Paul’s. They are always polite, respectful and honest. I recommend them to all my friends and family. The work is top notch and the price is always fair. I’ve had them do small and large jobs. 6 Stars! This shop is great, I was impressed with the work Jeff did on my truck. He went well above and beyond, exceeded my expectations. I would go back again and would recommend this place to anybody looking to get work done on their vehicle.

These guys are AWESOME! We're in town for the Salt Lake Offroad Expo from Las Vegas when our truck decided to have a battery and alternator fail. These guys made time and knocked it out fast and got us back in business! We'll be able to make the event and man our Karnage Welder booth for the show 👍

Jeff is the best - don’t go anywhere else. I drive my truck like it’s a race car and have already used these guys half a dozen times. Fair prices and great work they stand behind - what’s not to like.

I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I felt I needed to for Paul's. I moved into the area 4 years ago and started taking my cars here for all general maintenance and repairs. I will never take my cars anywhere else as long as I can help it. This is hands down the most honest, up front, and respectable repair shop I have ever experienced. They never try to upsell or get pushy. They are happy to diagnose anything and explain to you what is going on with your vehicle. These 5 star reviews are no joke. This is the best shop in the Salt Lake Valley.

Excellent service. I brought my truck to install a leveling kit, and they did so in a timely manner and at a competitive price. I felt a few days later my car was shaking a little bit, so I called them immediately and they were ready to take care of it immediately, no questions asked. I haven't taken in back because I don't feel it shaking any longer, but feel confident they will respond immediately if something were to come up again. It's a good they give that peace of mind

These guys are awesome. Family owned shop that always do a great job. They do seem to get pretty busy at times but that is a good thing! Whenever I take my car in, the turn around time is usually later that evening or the next day. And they always give you the best price. I will never take my cars anywhere else.

Drop my car off the morning of my appointment, went over the todo list with Jeff. He called me that afternoon with a status update. Car was repaired and ready for pick up the next day. They were thorough, reasonable priced and professional. FYI, they are booking appointments for a couple weeks out, but well worth the wait.

Took my jeep to a body place to get flares installed and people there had no clue, a friend tried and couldn't figure it out. Called Paul's to see if they knew anyone and they said they have done this before. Took it in, showed them, dropped it off and when I picked it up I was extremely satisfied on the install and price. Better than I expected. They have done work for me before and definitely my go to. Very Satisfied.

I have been a customer of Paul’s automotive and 4x4 for a couple years now. Needless to say, every vehicle I will ever own will only be worked on by myself or the wonderful people who work here. They have literally saved my a$$ more times than I can count and I highly recommend anyone and everyone to this location. Forget every shop out there except this one. Honest to a t. Reliable and very informative. People often confuse a crappy car with the shops they take them to. Well, lemon or not, these people will inform you of everything and charge an EXTREMELY fair price. I freaking love Paul’s automotive.

A business run by brothers doing their absolute best to serve their customers well! We were in town from Chicago when we ran into problems with our vehicle, these issues made driving home dangerous. Jeff rearranged schedules to take care of us that day so we could be on our way before the forecasted snow began to fall. These brothers are strait up, genuine, good ol’ boys who really care about their customers and it shows. I know they were super busy and it wasn’t easy to get us taken care of in the time frame we needed, but they did. We appreciate you all very much, thank you for being so awesome, we are currently on our way home!!!

I do most of my own work and know when a mechanic does shoddy work, and thusly am very picky when it comes to taking my vehicles to a mechanic to have work done that I can't do myself. Paul's is always busy and has expensive cars and project cars in their shop all the time. The reason being is that they're awesome. All of their staff is very professional and skilled, and most importantly, they're honest folk. You pay a bit of a premium taking your car here, but they're worth every penny.
