First City Church

First City Church is striving to be the hands and feet of Christ. The love and compassion from the people at FCC is remarkable. They have become family to us. The work they do in the foster care community is beyond amazing. If you come and plug in, serve on a team & join a small group you will have an amazing support group and extended family. You can't stay on the outside looking in you have to join the body of Christ and you will have an amazing experience. Their main goal is to get you into a real relationship with Jesus Christ. There is an amazing nursery, kids and youth ministry. There is a growing & diverse congregation.

If you are looking for a church that teaching is align witj the Word this is the one. We are not local but traveling to Pensacola for couple days. We always keep Sunday as worship day before having any fun. So glad we came and worship with them. Worship and Sermon were great. I truly feel the move of Holy Spirit.

There are simply not enough words available for me to describe exactly how much of an impact First City Church has made on my life. The members of First City Church are absolutely the most kind hearted nonjudgmental people I have ever seen assembled at the same church. They truly embody what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ and to reach out to every soul possible with the gospel. And I do mean every soul possible. It isn't just some people that act right, dress a certain way, read the right version of the Bible, have a career that makes a ton of money, etc. It's everyone. This church actively and intentionally works to help the homeless community in Pensacola, provides a ministry to help foster parents in a 3 county area, provides another program to work in and with households that are at risk of having children taken away to get their lives together and preserve the family unit in America, etc. I could go on for days about the positive things First City Church provides for the community, but arguably the most impactful story I have is my story. I've been a praise and worship musician for the better part of 2 decades. A little over 3 years ago I got a phone call from the current interim music minister at First City Church asking if I would be interested in coming over to play lead guitar for them. I agreed to give it a shot and the rest has been history for me. Except God led me to a church that was unlike any other church I had ever attended. This church body proved over and over again exactly how much they really do run directly after the heart of God. Through all of my faults and failures both public and private there has never been a single ounce of judgment or condemnation from a single soul at this church. Just people that are waiting and willing to be the listening ear, crying shoulder, prayer warrior, and if asked a well of wise advice. When I got to first city Church 3 years ago I was ready to throw in the towel on organized religion as a whole, but this church has gone so far out of its way for me that it has restored my faith in humanity as well as my faith in what a body of believers can accomplish when they are focused on God and driven to be God's hands and feet. If you are looking for a church home I encourage you to join us at 1301 east Gadsden st Pensacola Florida at 10am every Sunday morning for service.

This is one of the friendliest churches you will ever find! After attending just a few weeks, it already felt like home! The worship is very contemporary and genuine. Enthusiastic, relevant teaching encourages you to want to know more. Really appreciate the support the church provides for foster families! It's their church mission and desperately needed in our community.

I love this church not for being a church but being a family that loves me and my family. The coffee is good, the worship is lively and the message is clear. Love God by showing their love for others. Our kids enjoy going every Sunday. I have been going now 4 years and each year gets better.

This is not your typical church- come expecting to leave with a sense of community, closeness, and most importantly with a passion for Christ. While the worship and sermon were organized and intentional, they also were lead with a raw brokenness and humble hearts. I felt welcome and as though I was part of their family. I look forward getting involved at FCC and I can't recommend them enough.

Friendly, casual, up-beat atmosphere with great lessons for living a better life. Accepting of people who "aren't perfect." :) Good teen & childrens programs. Coffee house until start of second service.

We are not members, but that doesn't seem to matter. They welcome us happily every time. My husband and I just love it here. No judgement, not pushy. Just a lot of people loving God.

Awesome atmosphere! Biblical lessons for TODAY'S LIFE! Friendly, accepting (non-judgemental), helpful, scripturely sound w/o "beating you up!" (Positive teachings), upbeat & contemporary music mostly w/some of the traditional. "Dress up" OR "come as you are" dress code ..... JUST want you there, so they can help you with a growing relationship with the Lord!
Your sins (what ever that are!!) ARE FORGIVEN!
ALL are WELCOMED to be their guests .... hopefully eventually a member ..... because the church is full of sinners, just as a hospital is full of the sick! Too many churches forget that ...... they don't! CHRISTIANITY AND HUMANITY: mixed well and displayed daily.

Fisrt City Church is my family's place of worship for so many reasons First City is part if our family and focuses on growing relationships with Christ Jesus our Saviour. Worship is blessed and fellowship is awesome come see what I mean!

Pastor Rick, Pastor Taran, & Pastor Savannah understand our purpose in the community and in our city. I find comfort in First City's ACTION in the community, particularly through their Lyft ministry (a foster care program) and other social programs.

Best church I've ever been to. Everybody is friendly. Noone is judgemental or hypocritical. ALL are welcome!!! This church is like no other! I LOVE IT!!

This is the friendliest church! You feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. They are leading people to God in the most wonderful way! And the worship is out of this world!

This is a NEWER church in an older body. Lots of great energy. Nice group of people. They are constantly updating and making it a very comfortable and welcoming place.

I have been attending here for about 10 years. The staff is excellent, the congregants are so welcoming. They truly walk the walk.
