Sushi-2-Go University

Visited Target Copy and ended up getting food in the plaza, too.
Sushi-2-Go looked clean, and I was in the mood for sushi 🍥. I checked the reviews, and the majority was positive. So, I ordered the 3 combo roll special: California, salmon, and salmon with scallions all without sesame seeds plus 2 small teas (watermelon and matcha with boba). Total was about $35 with tip.
There were about 3 people ahead of us, so the quick order kiosk was really convenient 👏
The order was ready in about 15 minutes. Sushi tasted fresh and was actually good, which was surprising since I wasn't sure what to expect from a quick order place.
FYI: parking around the area is horrible since it's mostly street parking, but there are certain lots if you have UF parking permit (orange). Also, when it's after 5pm, metered parking is free.

Ordered takeout for a late dinner from here for the first time. Not many sushi options past 10pm but this one is. Always saw the name pop up when searching but assumed it was lower quality/rolls would be pre-made. I stand corrected. Got the 3 regular rolls for $16 (after taxes) special. Got the Black & White Roll, Florida Roll, and Gator Roll. All were good quality, better than Publix Sushi of course. All made to order and very affordable. Friendly pick up service. Will definitely order here again.

Food is always fresh and they deliver it right to my office on campus! The actual Sushi 2 Go delivery drivers are very friendly and fast!

Sushi 2 go is by far the best sushi I’ve ever had!! I’ve tried sushi from across the country from buffet to actual sushi restaurants! Not only did sushi 2 go give out amazing quality but also faster than expected! I don’t ever leave reviews but this was worth it!

A very clear and super helpful menu. A picture of each item is attached with a description of ingredients. You can customize your order. They were neatly packed.

You get what you pay for. Great, affordable sushi. On their website, they give you a code if you get two or three. Which is very nice! Premium rolls doesn't count and can't double promo. Their sushi bowls are really good, lots of rice. They don't put much fish in the rolls. Again, you get what you pay for, which is still decent!

Staff is very friendly and kind. Never had a order wrong. If you want low sodium you would have to call or be there before they are done and let them know. If you sign up for their rewards after certain amount of times to order, you get a FREE premium roll but can't double coupons (reminder).

This is not the fanciest, best sushi you will ever have. But it is good! They have a lot of options and actually have good vegetarian options. Their website makes it easy to customize your order (take things off, add things in, get it deep fried!!!). Delivery is fast and I've never had an issue with that.

Always a good choice for their bowls. I LOVE being able to customize the bowls. I wish they didn't raise the prices quote so much but they give you a lot in the bowls. Thank you Sushi2Go for remaining consistently delicious.

I stop here everything I'm in Gainesville. Sushi is freshly made, well made, and a great deal on 3 rolls keeps me coming back.

Location is in a mall like environment in place with wifi, copy and print utility, and other food choices from other brands. Location is everything. Great place to fuel up and study hard!

Sushi is expensive so I had low expectations for the 3 for $10 special. I figured it would be small portions or very low quality food. We ordered and took 6 rolls home and when I opened the box, I was very impressed. It wasn't the best sushi I've eaten but it was quick, good portions for the price and I will eat here again. I tried 6 different rolls and they were all good. The pickled ginger looked like a radioactive shade of pink but who eats that stuff anyway? Overall, great value.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I eat here all the time. Every single time it’s great. The space itself is clean and the staff is very nice (and there’s always parking for a quick pick up near campus, which is its own treat). I usually get the Otsunaaji Burrito, which is spicy deliciousness with tuna, pickled jalapeños, avocado, sushi rice, spicy mayo, eel sauce, and then hot pressed. I’m completely obsessed. They also have very reasonably priced rolls and plenty of vegetarian choices, too!

The quality outdoes the price. I have always loved sushi but struggled to find some place that had good sushi at a good price. Then I came here and I fell in love, delicious customizable sushi at such a good price! It just makes it taste better knowing you didn't have to break the bank to get something of such good quality. I love their Florida Roll and their Tofu Roll! And their bowls are to die for, a little pricier but so worth it!

BEST sushi I’ve ever had! Been going to this place for years now and I won’t go anywhere else. They always get my order right and the food is always on point. Keep up the good work!

The burrito may have originated in Mexico, but it was perfected here. 🌯😋

I've been here many times and never had a bad experience. Friendly people, good service, and good delivery if you're looking to stay in. The poke bowls are the best thing on the menu in terms of flavor and value. Bubble tea is also a good option if you like that kind of thing

My to go sushi for a great price on a budget and the sushi is fresh and the ingredients are good for price. Three rolls for about 14 dollars is a great deal. Been going here for about a decade and recommend to people wanting great sushi for a budget.

Sushi 2 Go is our new favorite place to get sushi. My son is obsessed with the sushi burrito! Best boba we've had. Coffee boba is my new favorite.

UPDATE: It WAS the best cheap sushi place in town. They took away the “Mexican Roll” & all of the shrimp rolls! WTH?! Maybe bc if COVID, idk. But it’s just not the same now. Sad 😢
I have to go to Chopsticks, now.. which is #1 In Gainesville for sushi! ( Joaquim Phoenix thinks so, too!)
OLD REVIEW: The Best sushi for price in town, guaranteed--Order the "Mexican Roll", (w/eel & cheese sauce), for best deal. We always replace the Mayo for cream cheese. It’s delish.
Love the 3 for 10 deal.
