Charming, rustic and cozy - Carmella (they have several locations) is a wonderful, artisan coffee shop with exceptional and very tasteful decor. The customer service here in general is excellent and the place is always very clean.

The coffee varieties are good - not the best there is (as far as purists go) but good enough :).

The menu selection is well curated and over the course of several visits I’ve never once been disappointed. They don’t cut corners and the ingredients are of high quality.

The fully stacked avocado toasts and sandwiches are fantastic and the portion sizes are generous. If there’s one thing I would change is the avocado itself being seasoned a little bit but they seem to serve it plain.

There’s a rotating selection of freshly baked countertop items which is simply yummy. 5/5 all the way and this place has a staple in my rotation.

A local chain does get frequently busy but they do their best to keep up the customer service. I would definitely come here again. Coffee was solid but nothing out of this world still better than a corporate company like star bucks. I'd come again the vibe was nice.

I came from Miami to this store just because they have the best coffee in the world! Excellent atmosphere and service. And the toasts are AMAZING!! Don't hesitate to come visit them!

What a cute little spot! Generous portions and friendly service. The avocado toast and the toast with Brie, fig, and almonds were delicious. Perfect for a Sunday morning.

DELICIOUS!!! We serendipitously found this little gem/Easter-egg after visiting Calvary Church, on Easter. Omelettes and avocado toast, coffees and cokes. The bread/bakery is top notch. Loved the atmosphere. Staff is warm and welcoming. If you are in the area, treat yourself don’t cheat yourself.

I love this place. Me and my son come everyday just for the great energy. All of the staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed. If you are looking for a nice place to study or even read a great book this place is great.

They use excellent locally baked bread. All ingredients are very fresh.

Prices are quite good. Especially when you consider portion sizes.

Food selection was great , we ordered a salmon toast. I requested them to chane the 🥚 for a burrata and was done with no problem at no additional charge .
The quinoa salad with avovado and strawberries 🍓 was delicious.
Coffee was excellent too !!

A friend of mine told me months ago about how good this place was... And she wasn't lying. I hadn't expectations about it, but I got happily surprised about how good and definitely so so fresh was my breakfast, it tasted way much better than I thought it would. The cafe felt so warm and enjoyable, the girls who served me were extremely kind and funny 😅 I really enjoy that way of treating people. I was not expecting to have such a great experience because I usually don't. I'll definitely run by that cafe again, I'm going to taste everything they got. God bless y'all.

The Carmela Coffee Co. is a refreshing coffee shop hangout with 7 locations in Boca and scattered in Broward county, and growing. Based on my Google research, it seems that they are owned by a Costa Rican coffee farm and they serve their own grown coffee… and the coffee is de-de-delicious. When it comes to coffee, I only drink mild coffee (sorry Starbucks and Cuban coffee), but they have a long assortment of stronger coffee and exotic beverages. You may want to fact-check their beginning on your own, or if you already know their full history, please correct me in your responses.

Open only for breakfast and lunch but they offer a different twist over traditional breakfast and lunches. Their main food attraction and specialty is that their offerings are placed on one giant toast or not toasted bread loaded thick with guacamole spread and topped with an array of breakfast or lunch item goodies that will certainly fill you up with energy to carry on with your day. They also offer an assortment of freshly baked coffee cake – this morning, in addition to their regular menu coffee cakes, they featured a blueberry coffee cake. I had it (I didn’t take a pix of it), but trust me, it was heavy, moist, and delicious.

I was introduced to Carmela’s by a co-worker about 5 months ago at the 1182 Powerline Rd, Pompano Beach location and I became a regular fan. I love avocado, and that place is avocado heaven. I’ve tried many variations of both their breakfast and lunch avocado treats and, yes, I am a fan.

OMG this place is incredible!!!. I'm not a local but I have to say that we just stopped for a quick snack and we ended ordering a whole meal!. The place is beautiful, the ambience is warm and cozy and the service is outstanding.
You can not miss the toast with avocado and any coffee in the menu is a win-win!!!.

we’re traveling from out of town and wanted to try a new local coffee shop. carmela’s was amazing! their coffee, avocado toast, and empanadas were all delicious. we will definitely be back next time we’re visiting!

Love this place! Super cute, staff is very friendly and perfect for working/studying and meet ups. There's a variety of seating options from tables and high tops to couches with lots of outlets. Coffees, fresh juices, and sweet and savory treats. There's something for everyone!

I really like this Cafe'. Food is fresh, made by scratch, tasty and there are a lot of things to try. Coffee is great, service is very attentive and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Today this place has been a really nice discover, an hidden gem! Only cons, it's very expensive!

Great little spot. Had a 'build your own' breakfast sandwich that was fresh and tasty. The coffee was very good with excellent flavor. And a nice, chill vibe to the place. Muy chévere!

I have visited Carmela @1185 Powerline Road, Pompano and it is outstanding . Diana after only one visit remembered me and had my order made immediately. She is friendly, beyond helpful and a delight to.see when I return to this location .
