Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill of Pensacola

Oh my gosh, we loved this place so much!! We had the kindest server, who was so friendly and helped us choose all the right foods to taste. We are using them for an upcoming wedding so we wanted to try their various options. And we are so pleased because everything is so delicious & fresh!! Their chips, salsa, queso & guacamole are so delicious! Chips and salsa can make or break a Mexican place for me so I was very pleased. We also tried the shredded chicken & beef taco, very good flavor. The fajitas were my fave because I love grilled veggies so much! We are so pumped to have Natalie & the Cactus Cantina crew at our son's wedding in June! We are grateful for you all and the most friendly, kind & top notch customer service! I highly suggest them as a go to for lunch or dinner. And I definitely recommend for your next event, you honestly can't beat the friendliness of everyone!!

This has become our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Pensacola. Guys get the chorizo cheese dip. Yummy! The drinks were great and reasonably priced for the size. We really enjoyed the food and service. If you haven't went yet, you must!

I think that this was the best Texas fajita I’ve ever had. The flavor is amazing. The GM Juan here was extremely friendly and a made my visit a great time. Definitely going back.

Everything was great. From the staff to the food. I had the Texas Burrito and my wife had the three tacos. We also had a large Cactus Margarita which I couldn't finish because it was so big but it was good. Try it out.

What a FEAST! It was a spectacular first time! Every dish we ordered.... It was so full of flavor! And we got tested to try the cheesy grits since we were first timers. 😍 They were the best!

Highly recommend and will be back next round to the airport!

Great Mexican restaurant, excellent salsa, and chips. Very good wait staff, we were waiting on a couple of friends and our waitress was wonderful and patient as we took our time. The margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks, are excellent. Especially the Mango margaritas. The fish tacos were amazing, I definitely recommend them. Great place to gather and eat in a larger group.

Came here with my fiancé for a late lunch. I had the Texas tacos. He had a chicken quesadilla. Both were amazing-dilicious!

Update: Came again. 12/17/2022 Cedrea was our server. She was very attentive and had a fantastic personality!! (Even tho she recently lost her dear mother)
Hubby had The Beef Chimicanga Dinner. The flavor was great. He said it could have been crisper, tho. I had the pick 2 combo: Steak Taco (yum!) and Chili Relleno...planned on saving half. Oops!! It was so damn good. I ate the whole thing!! Oh yeah! I also had the Cactus Margarita. The bartender spoils me well!!

My husband and I came here for his birthday. We loved it! The service was awesome. I was surprised when our meals were set in front of us in minutes. Best Mexican food we have had in Pensacola. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This my go to place on my last day when visiting Pensacola! It is across from the airport so I have a great meal before check-in.

This time I had the Boom Boom shrimp taco with beans and rice. The cabbage and pineapple mix was sweet and sparked my taste buds!
Try to bring cash as they charge an additional fee for credit charges.

The service was really good and the environment was clean. They had an impressive drink selection, and they offered the opportunity to order small medium or large Margaritas which I thought was pretty cool so you don't have to drink a bucket of alcohol if you don't want to. I had a small Margarita and a shrimp cocktail. the shrimp cocktail would be well-served to have a picture on the menu because people not intimately familiar with Hispanic cuisine may not understand that their shrimp cocktail is different it's more like a cold soup with shrimp, avocado, tomatoes, etc. very tasty but also very different from traditional shrimp cocktail as it is served in the United States.

Food is tasteful, food portion is good, service is pleasant, prices are reasonable and atmosphere is enjoyable. Location is convenient. One of my favorite restaurants at Pensacola.

A nice option nearby the airport! We ordered chicken Quesadilla and Nachos with beef and chicken. Very quick service and friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by.

This is my first time here. A buddy and I came in on a whim and bellied up to the bar due to lack of available seating (they are popular so it’s expected). The bartender (Julianna was OMG A-amazing!!!) and the manager Rochelle were so helpful and courteous to us that we felt like VIP. It really is a unique experience. Exquisite food with reasonable pricing. The staff is friendly and very understanding if you don’t know what to order! They are happy to work with ya. It just makes me feel good knowing the crew is enjoying their job, it means the management is doing their job correctly.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was above average. Service was outstanding.
