Adam's Rib Co

Ordered the "feed the family" bundle for 57$ and was blown away! Came w 3 large sides and 6 garlic bread as well all amazing, bread is super good for making a little sandwhich. Ordered the Fried okra and banana pudding as well, also super good and resonable priced. It well fed my wife and I with left overs for a second meals like we wanted. All the portions were generous, delivered with a bunch of extra sauces, and the ribs fell off the bone. It will feed us twice, and we can eat alott, especially when it's this good.
Although it's advertised as 40 something $ on the menu, it's not. That and the banana pudding size (although very good) were the only disappointments. 10/10 Will order again, I do understand and still worth it, but please stop raising the price 😂 🙏

Great place for gator fans and good food. Good prices and great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and patient. I would recommend this if you want good BBQ. I would go back here,and probably will. No complaints accept a little more fat on the pork.

I got the two rib lunch with a side of sweet potato fries and it was phenomenal. The ribs were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The sweet potato fries with the powdered sugar on top was a pleasant addition. The garlic bread was tasty with just the right amount of seasoning.

If you are looking for good ribs this is a great place to choose and I will definitely come back here again.

THE RIBS ARE A MUST! Big and flavorful! Baked beans and fries were also awesome and I recommend the corn nuggets (LARGE ORDER) to start off with. Service was quick and our drinks were never empty! I definitely will be back for more!!!

The ribs here were great as well as their sides. Fries, slaw, fried pickle, and fried okras were the food I got and they all tasted well. Would definitely come here. Service was pretty slow and not as attentive but it seemed like they understaffed.

Good evening. I was at Adam's Rib today and ordered the 4 ribs plate to go. And man was they good. Thanks Adam's Rib. Delicious. Better than Sonny's Barbecue. Great job team 💯👍🏾

Tried this place out and got the sampler and fried broccoli with some corn nuggets so we could try everything. Plenty of food for the 3 of us so we’ll worth it Everything was great but I expected a little better on the ribs since it is in the name. They were good just a bit hard to get off the bone. Would recommend and if you have a group get the sampler.

Not only known for their BBQ, they serve a great breakfast too. Ordered online and went by to pick it up. Really cool Gator truck out front and the decor inside looked really cool. I ordered the French toast combo which comes with 2 eggs, 3 strips of lean bacon and 3 slices of French toast. Everything tasted fresh and was great to eat. My dad ate here every morning for the past 5 years and loved it.

Got take out to sample a variety, and everything was fantastic. The ONLY downside was that the sides were a little small for the price, but they were all good.
The meats - all of them - were some of the best smoked meats I've had in years.
* Onion rings were a star!! Anybody who likes rings needs to go here, big crispy order.

Hi my name is Zac and we visited Adams Rib Crib for take out on October 2022. This is our second time visiting and we love this place. We have experienced both dine and and carry out, the food being beyond expectations. We are big fans of turkey and brisket and being from Oklahoma we know BBQ very, very well. Adams will fill you up and more within anyone’s budget and we would recommend the sweet tea as well. Come and enjoy great food, community and service here at Gainesvilles own.

I've lived really close since Aug 2018, but only since pandemic hit, I discovered Adam's Rib. I have ordered various foods here at least 6 times in the past year, and I believe it's time for me to leave a good review (if not too late:).
As its name suggested, the rib is their best BBQ food.
I have lived in Texas from 2016 to 2018, and enjoyed BBQ there, especially the brisket.
However, the brisket and the chicken at Adam's Rib were not on par as they were in Texas.
But to be fair, I've never eaten brisket on the same level outside of Texas.
"Texas barbecue has no peer on earth" maybe changed to the scope in US. (As there are other variants of flavors or types of barbecue that I rate up top, e.g., Chinese Skewers, Shish kebab)

OK, back to Adam's Rib, the 4-rib dinner is definitely enough for 2-person meal, my girlfriend and me had tested this several times. And the flavor and textures were not as good if you reheat left over food.
The turkey and pulled pork were fine but not outstanding as their ribs.

Outside of BBQ food, their fish sandwich is a hidden gem, my girlfriend and I do believe it is worth the price tag over McDonald's Filet O Fish. It is much bigger and fresher than all the other fish sandwiches below its price.
I like the vibe in the restaurant, however, I only ordered take outs from here for health concerns.
For sides, fries, collard green, and mac & cheese were our top 3.
Black Eyed Peas might be the 4th choice.
The food/restaurant price in FL is definitely higher than in TX, but I do consider Adam's Rib to be worthy comparing to Sonny's.

These guys know how to smoke meats. Everything is incredibly smoky and flavorful but always juicy -- even the chicken and turkey is never dry or tough. The sides are great -- I'm a big fan of their potato salad and I LOVE their baked beans. They have a variety of delicious sauces, but you won't need too much -- this food stands on its own.

It's not a fancy place, plastic flatware and rolls of paper towels on the tables, but isn't that kind of what you want from a good authentic barbecue joint?

First time here and had a nice time at Adams Ribs. Everything was good, but the ribs were by far the stars of the show. Tender, meaty and smokey. I liked their sauce, but the ribs really didn't even need any. The collards stood out as well, not bitter at all and had plenty of meat chunks floating around. The beans were OK, they were a bit too tomatoey... probably wouldn't get those again. My daughter got the fries and they were hot and crispy. Next time you are in Gainesville and hankering some BBQ, do like Hawkeye says, and go to Adams Ribs.

Wow!! The food here was outstanding!! The meat practically fell off the ribs and the various bbq sauces offered were on point. The sides that came with the ribs complimented well and added a diverse range of flavors. Of the sides, the cornbread and banana pudding were my favorite. Also, the staff here need to be recognized for their friendliness and helpfulness with the menu. Overall, I wholeheartedly agree with other reviewers - Adam’s Rib Co have the best BBQ in Gainesville!

It's all about the food 😋 great brisket

This was mine and my wife's first time to Adam's. We were immediately greeted and as we sat our drinks arrived. Our entire order was at our table in under ten minutes. My wife loved the smoked chicken, saying it was the best she's ever had. She loved their fries too. I had the ribs. Being able to smell how good they were going to taste, before even taking a bite, was awesome. I didn't need bbq sauce nor wanted to add it. Great experience, will be back.

Great food for a great bargain! The ribs and brisket were awesome and the sides are killer. My only problem was with the mac n cheese; I was expecting something better than powdered cheese from such an iconic BBQ restaurant, but beyond that everything tasted great. Get the City Boy! Trust me!!!

Our food was amazing! So much food too... and the ribs fell off the bone. Our waitress and the other staff were so great. Best of luck to you Ocean! We just met, but you will be missed! You are going to excel at anything you set your mind to!

Liked everything we had here. Chicken, collards, brisket, creamy mac and cheese. Food was delicious and came out quickly. One of the best bbq sauces I've tasted. Will return.
