Residence Inn by Marriott Pensacola Downtown

A well-maintained and customer-focused facility where we spent 6 nights. The breakfast meal was well done and the entire staff was engaging and helpful. The location is great with excellent restaurants nearby. Tourist attractions are close by and readily accessible from this inn. I highly recommend this facility for a vacation stay.

We love the layout of the studio suites here. It was clean, the pool was larger than most, and the staff were so much more friendly than other Resident's Inns across the country! They deserve pay increases and bonuses here!

Stayed here for over a month. The room was very spacious! My room included an oven (not all of them have one) and that was a great perk. You couldn’t ask for a better location. A 15 minute walk, or a 3 minute VEO electric scooter ride, to Palafox Street. The staff are VERY friendly and will work to accomodate all of your needs.

My family & I recently had a very enjoyable weekend stay at this property! At check-in, Paula made us feel welcome and right at home. She told us about the local art show the following day that we were able to walk to, which was awesome! Cindy also made us feel welcome and appreciated as she gave us an extra sheet and blanket for our son to use on the pull-out bed. They were so friendly and helpful that it enhanced out stay and our feelings about the property. We were quite comfortable there, and really enjoyed the downtown location and the ability to walk around, sight see, and eat and drink at the local establishments.

After we got back home, we realized that we must have left a portable reading light in the room because we did not have it with us. I called the property and Paula answered the phone. She took my message and let me know to call the housekeeping the following morning. Before I could even call the next day, Cindy called me to tell me the great news that they had our light and would be happy to ship it to us!! OUTSTANDING service - thanks so much!! We will be back!

Friendly and helpful staff ensured a warm, welcome stay while traveling on business. This centrally located hotel is clean, and the breakfast was excellent. I will stay here again and highly recommend staying at the Pensacola Residence Inn!

My husband been staying here the last 2 n half months and I have been here for 2 weeks. The staff is wonderful. I'm not talking just the front desk, everyone of the staff members I have met have been so kind and sweet. Natalie is one of the housekeepers and deserves to be recognized, not only is she sweet but she does her well and quickly. This hotel has social hour Monday through Wednesday, they serve you delicious meals and beer and wine for the guests. The cook, Barbara arrives early in the morning so she can make sure military can get breakfast before leaving for the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who has a long stay.

My parents loved their visit here! The young lady that checked my parents in late at night (they arrived around 3:30AM) was absolutely wonderful. The housekeepers they had were so sweet as well. I will always make their reservation here at the residence inn when they come back to town to visit.

Tennessee was amazing upon check in. We had a billing issue and she handled it like a boss. Housekeeping was amazing and kind. We are visiting our Marine, and they made the stay amazing. We will be staying again next year, to visit our next Marine. Breakfast was good, room was amazing. Couldn't have booked a better hotel.

This hotel was great! Our suite was very clean (aside from a small rag that someone left hanging on top of the shower curtain. It blended in and moved with the curtain when you opened it, so pretty easy to miss). The furniture and countertops seemed updated. The counter tops were really beautiful. They are pet friendly and non smoking, which is great. They charged us one set pet fee for our entire 6 night stay. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. My husband went up to ask for a few different things and they ended up just filling a plastic bag with a bunch of toiletries and things. That was more than enough to last us for the rest of our stay. The breakfast on week days was served by the cook in a to go box. It was slightly different each day, but not much variety (which is understandable due to covid). We liked the cheese omelet and andouille sausage the most. They do grab and go on the weekends, but even on week days you can grab a pastry or ask for some things like yogurt, packaged boiled eggs, or string cheese. Some weekdays they serve dinner and beverages (such as beer, wine, and soda). Overall we enjoyed our stay here and we can definitely see ourselves staying at Residence Inns in the future. Unfortunately we didn't have time to take photos before we started laying out our stuff everywhere, but hopefully these photos help show how clean/nice the rooms are.

I stayed here on an extended business trip and can honestly say that I do not have any complaints about my stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly from day one. I felt safe and loved being so close to the bay. My family and I would take evening walks to enjoy the scenery. The location was perfect, being close to the downtown business district, and we were within a short drive to Pensacola Beach. I highly recommend this hotel if you want great service, good atmosphere, and a comfortable room.

My cousin and I have to stay there for 1 night as we're traveling from Texas to Fort lauderdale. 1 hour after we check out He gets a call from Katrina saying he left this watch. That watche is sentimental value to him. Thank you, Katrina!!

We stayed at this Residence Inn the past weekend and I could not have been more pleased. All of the desk staff was nice and extremely helpful. At one point, the young lady that checked us in said this was only her third day. I told her that you would never know that she wasn't a veteran. The room was nice and clean and all the accommodations were in good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed the included breakfast too.
Yes, this place may show tiny bits of wear, but I've only seen better conditions in brand new accommodations (and they can have their own problems).
Also, considering what little space is allocated to the food service area, they manage to provide a nice little breakfast buffet.
All and all I would definitely recommend this lodging and would surely stay there again myself.

I was nervous at first because there was a lot going on with a remodel on the first floor. However, I was pleasantly surprised by an amazing clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was great throughout my stay and breakfast was actually really good. I look forward to staying here again next time I am in town.

The location is perfect... so close and walking distance to so much (waterfront, restaurants, park). The facility is clean and nice. I have my fur baby who is so welcomed and comfortable. I love it and was so blessed to drive in from Austin, TX and spend Christmas with my Naval daughter and bring our fur baby. Thanks Residence Inn

We stayed here for 2.5 weeks and loved it. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel, the professionalism of the housekeeping staff, and the continental breakfast were are all above par. The continental breakfast had a wife variety of food to choose from, and Monday - Wednesday a "small bites" dinner is served, even though it's really enough to fill you for dinner. It's free and there is also free beverages, to include wind and beer. The pool is extremely clean and there are grills for you to use next to the pool deck. The hotel is pet friendly which is a must for us and our two big dogs.

If we ever come back to Pensacola for an extended stay we won't look any further than this hotel.

We stayed at the Residence Inn while in town for a soccer tournament. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast had many choices, both hot and cold, and there was ample room in the very nice breakfast area. Every staff person we encountered smiled and greeted us, and the front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. The hotel is close to restaurants and downtown, and the bay is just around the corner. We were very pleased with the accommodations and our stay there.

This is a great place to stay. The help was excellent friendly and good-mannered. The special dinners that were complimentary we're awesome. The front desk was always very helpful. I strongly recommend you stay at this hotel when you're in Pensacola. I will be staying there again
