Hertz Car Rental - Pensacola Regional Airport

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews for this business. My wife and I rented a car within the past 2 weeks while flying down to visit family. The price was great, the check-in agent was very friendly, accommodating and quick. Car gave us zero issues and returning the car could not have been easier. We did not receive any additional fees or run into any issues. Would absolutely rent from them again!

I want to thank your agent, Paula. She had two lines wrapped around the building but still managed to smile and treat everyone with kindness and respect. She was working alone and it must have been overwhelming. Paula never stopped smiling and made a very frustrating situation much more bearable. I hope someone will recognize Paula for this, she was wonderful.

Hertz did a great job as usual. Rental was easy and smooth. Paula was awesome and a pleasure to work with.

Lines were long and a little slow but once we met Paula at the front desk she went far and beyond expectations. Very courteous and personable. Made the hassle of car rental a little less torturous.

The service at the counter desk from the agents was top notch. Ebony and Helen are amazing and work great together. A lot of the time there is a long line at the desk at the airport but not with Ebony and Helen they got through customers very efficiently. The car I wanted was on time and cleaned and didn't have any performance issues. The whole process was easy which was sometimes the total opposite when you make a reservation through a third party like I did.

Great customer service from Kelvin. Although the waiting line was long and busy, he remained courteous, polite, and helpful to everyone. Thank you Kelvin! Will definitely rent from here again!

While dollar rental has already closed for the eve, at Pensacola Airport; after my flight was delayed and arrived after 10pm, hertz was still available, and the attendant was very polite, helpful, and got me into next model up with no additional fees. For the 2023 corolla, which got nearly 40mpg on my travels! Returned outside airport days later with out having to return into the terminal and no paperwork, thanks!

Helpful staff! The other vehicle rental businesses were full helping other customers, one was all out of vehicles. Hertz got us a vehicle without reservation and helped with local destinations!

I booked a last minute reservation to pick up a car at the Pensacola airport and return in Foley, Al. The gentlemen at the Hertz counter in Pensacola were so polite and funny. They quickly got me checked in and I had a clean car. The return process in Foley was just as pleasant. Great customer service from all employees.

Our flight was cancelled with Spirit, and it came down to driving back. Janice from Hertz was very accommodating and flexible with our reservation. Despite the limited cars in inventory, she was able to assist us and get us one on shirt notice making our experience less stressful.

I reserved a mustang convertible in advance and also paid for it to ensure my selection get there an hour early and the car I wanted wasn't available at the moment and needed to be serviced. Kevin the guy that checked me in tried to upgrade me to a BMW which I declined and decided to wait it out since I was early anyhow. When I walked back up a quarter till my check in time the other guy wasn't as helpful neither did he seem to want to get me rolling. I explained to him that I saw a black mustang next to the BMW that was offered to me earlier and he insisted that it was not one of hertz vehicles. Kevin walked back up and told me to follow him to show me some other vehicles I may be interested in and told me if I wasn't satisfied I could take it and come back for the mustang once it was serviced I then told him about the one I saw earlier which then he took a look at it then said he would go see if it was theirs because it was in there spot. It took him 15 minutes but he found the key to this vehicle and I was able to get rolling. Kevin went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my rental as I booked and paid ahead and I give him and only him 5 stars as if it was not him helping me out this would of been a one star review

The staff was very helpful. I had an issue with a tire that had a slow leak during my rental. I added air a few times and they credited me for my money at the air pump plus a few dollars extra. I was dropping off an in-town and picking up a one-way on the same day so they upgraded my one-way to a really nice car as a sorry/thank-you. The helper had to push about 100 buttons to make that car a one-way but she didn't give up! Everyone was really nice!

Very friendly and patient folks who dealt with our booking snafu with a smile. Much appreciated the friendly welcome to Pensacola and grace under pressure to get us rolling asap. The fault was our end and Hertz staff were nothing but helpful!

Although the truck we reserved was not available, (probably due to our late arrival because of flight delays), The very nice lady at Pensacola International Airport up graded us to a larger, well appointed pickup truck.
The service was wonderful and the Hertz agents were extremely courteous and helpful.

John was an excellent customer service employee! The car was excellent, much better than other companies I have rented from previously.

I am writing this review because the staff at this location made the day! Or should I say the night. I was bumped in Atlanta several times on April 6th so when I flew into the airport I was wondering how I would reach my destination once I arrived in Florida. My reservation was at 8:30PM I arrived at 2:30 AM ( they should have been closed at 11:00PM that previous evening) ! I wanted to hug that young man who stood on the other side of that counter! He was polite and professional.

I was exhausted and ready to begin my birthday vacation. He made the difference in a long eight hour extension of airport drama! I felt like a " Gold Member" Hertz is AOK with me! I want to say thank you again for having the sense to accommodate your customers who had the misfortune of numerous Delta airport delays that morning. Hertz is great in my book!

We had a great experience! In FL We walked right up to window, got the keys, the car was clean and perfect for our little road trip from FL to LA. Drop off in LA was extremely easy!

I was offered an upgrade from a Rav4 (which I've never driven) to a Hyundai Santa Fe (never driven this one either). I drove around trip to Tennessee from Pensacola. We had 4 adults. We did some sight seeing and we had plenty of room. I would definitely rent another one 💯%

They have treated me pretty fairly and VERY patient with me when I was having a bit of a mental break due to severe stress and some health challenges; despite the fact the were at a bit busy when I kept calling to try to get help.

So that was greatly appreciated.

They went a bit above of beyond in trying to help. So 5 Gold Stars for you!
